The description of Frightful Presence reads:
This special quality makes a creature’s very presence unsettling to foes. Activating this ability is a free action that is usually part of an attack or charge. Opponents within range who witness the action may become frightened or shaken. The range is usually 30 feet, and the duration is usually 5d6 rounds. This ability affects only opponents with fewer Hit Dice than the creature has. An opponent can resist the effects with a successful Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the frightful creature’s racial HD + the frightful creature’s Cha modifier; the exact DC is given in the creature’s descriptive text). On a failed save, the opponent is shaken, or panicked if it has 4 Hit Dice or fewer. An opponent that succeeds on the saving throw is immune to that same creature’s frightful presence for 24 hours. Frightful presence is a mind-affecting fear effect.
Format: frightful presence (60 ft., DC 21); Location: Aura.
This seems inconsistent, first it says shaken or frightened and then it says shaken or panicked. Is the rule that it never causes the Frightened condition?
And on a related question, if I cast the spell Frightful Aspect while in the form of a huge dragon, do I change size? The spell says:
Components V, S, M (the skin of a toad)
Range personal
Target you
Duration 1 minute/level
You become a larger, awful version of yourself. You grow to size Large, and take on features that horrify your enemies. You gain the following abilities: a +6 size bonus to Strength, a +4 size bonus to Constitution, a +6 natural armor bonus, DR 10/magic, and spell resistance equal to 10 + half your caster level. You also emit an aura that emanates 30 feet from you. Enemy creatures within the aura are shaken. Each time a creature shaken by this aura hits you with a melee attack, that creature becomes frightened for 1d4 rounds, though at the end of that duration it is no longer affected by this aura. The aura's effect is a fear and mind-affecting effect.
How can I "grow to size Large" when I'm already Huge? Do I shrink, grow, or stay the same size?

hey there! Please correct me if I am wrong folks.
When it comes to Frightful Presence, yes you can effect a person with fear it takes three consecutive failed saves to get to the fear effect.
Those within 30ft must save verses the DC if they fail the first round they are shaken, this gives a better chance to fail the fright check as they make the will save at -2, than they are frightened they may become more than frightened if they have 4 hd or less and be panicked.
My reference for the above http://www.pathfinder-srd.nl/wiki/Fear
As for the spell, how did you become a dragon originally? Druid transformation, spell transformation, dragon already ?

Frightful Presence: An individual creature's ability will specify if the effect is shaken or frightened.
Frightful Aspect: You can only be affected by one polymorph spell at a time. Assuming you are huge because you are a druid using wild shape, you'd have to turn off wild shape to use this spell on yourself.

Thanks for the clarification on polymorphs. I was thinking of using the spell Form of the Dragon III (actually Shapechange) which gives me Frightful Presence, and then cast Frightful Aspect with the idea of stacking shaken to frightened. But, both are polymorph spells.
New plan is to cast Frightful Aspect on my allosaurus. She comes in and has everyone shaking in the boots (with no save or SR), and then I fly in as a dragon and use Frightful Presence to send everyone within 30 ft. fleeing (DC 30 Will, no SR).
