If anything, it seems likely to me that Deadly Strikes is a soft-errata version of Golden Body. Introduced in APG as common like the other AoA capstones, and does something similar (but inferior).

Deadly strikes is a trash feat though. It's worth 1-2 points of damage at level 20 when enemies have hundreds of HP (and gets worse if you were using an attack that's already deadly).

It's one of the worst feats in the entire game, so I don't think it's fair to consider it soft errata to anything. It's a mistake, regardless of your opinion on Golden Body.
