Will add my voice here - nothing is downloading - the circular icon (thinking icon) appears and then nothing.

Yep, trying to download the Beginner's Box and I can't do anything.

It's been like this since as far back as I can remember. I played Pathfinder prior to 2nd Edition and always had problems with the site. My group picked up 5E, so I haven't been here in awhile...but picked up the humble bundle and wanted to download the core rulebook, but can't get it to download.


The first thing to try is to click the link under the file you're trying to download. The one that says, "Having trouble downloading this file? Click here".

That reloads the file from the Paizo servers and re-watermarks it with your ID.

Sometimes that's all it takes. Other times you need to do the cache-clearing bit and/or the log out/log in bit.

And sometimes trying a different browser does the trick

I'm also having this issue, and I can't even see the link that says having trouble. I've cleared my cache, logged out and back in, and tried in both Edge and Firefox. Same issue regardless of what I try.


I'm having the same trouble as Maplewave. I can't download the PDF I just got. I click the title and a loading wheel pops up for a few seconds and then nothing. No "Having trouble downloading this file? Click here". pops up at all.


Just to make sure we're on the same page (literally):

At the top of this page is a menu called "My Account"
The second menu item is "Digital Content"

On the Digital Content page, all of your digital purchases are listed

The name of the file, the size of the file, and below that, a link that you have to click to generate a watermarked copy of the product file.

Click that, wait 60 seconds for your file to generate. You'll see a "Ready! Click again to download" link. Click that new link to download the file.

Just below that download link is another link "Problems downloading this file? Click here"


Yes, that is the correct page. When you click the link to generate the file, it has a circle that spins for a few seconds then goes away. Even after several minutes, the file never generates and no other links appear other than the one to generate the download.

I am adding myself to this list. To those with suggestions, thank you, but I am an experienced user of the website and I tried all the suggestions before I came to this post.

Like others, I am unable to download digital assets.

It is a recent happening because I downloaded an adventure 3 or 4 days ago.

For the new folks, don't give up. Paizo will figure it out. Likely the skittergoblins found some alcohol and are sleeping of a hangout.

Not a new folk, but certainly a rare visitor as I simply don't need to download the digital assets very often. While I appreciate the upbeat attitude, Paizo's issues like this are a LONG term on-going failure.

So for the new folks, get used to it. Paizo's website is loudly and clearly telling all of us: "We hate you and don't ever plan to make this terrible site any better." Paizo is also telling its talented writers, editors and artists: "We hate you too and don't really care if paying customers are able to access your hard work."

I like the people at Paizo, but I will not alibi for them on this one. Year after year after year after year of this nonsense is inexcusable.


I'm having the same issue. Nothing comes up when I click on a file name, and I have tried 2 browsers, opening in incognito (as I saw in another thread), and clearing my cache.

I'm also having the same issues. Paizo should really overhaul their website soon, because all this new traffic is going to cause problems.

Literally couldn't purchase Treausure Vault I feel like every other dinky little website has mastered purchases already except Paizo.

I tried buying some pdfs about half an hour ago. Made it all the way to Confirm Order, and it errored out.


same issue here, the site doesn't even start the process of watermarking the pdfs. clearing cache and logging out didn't solve the issue.

Same problem. Tried different browsers, tried white listing it for ad blocker. Progress wheel appears then goes away. I see it is not only me.


Oh, guess I'm not the only one then. Been trying to download and none of them are working all you get is the spinning icon and nothing happens.

Adding my name to the list - unable to download any items from the Humble Bundle purchase or any other purchases.

For example, I had also purchased the Starfinder Beginner Box hard copy and tacked on the PDF. The link shows up in my Digital Content list, but same issue - nothing happens when I click.

Wanted to mention that as it appears to be the entirety of the Digital Content page - not just the Humble Bundle items!


I'm in the exact same boat right now honestly and it's frustrating seeing as I'm planning to GM for PFS for the first time in about a week.


Journal Entry Day 2: We're hiding in a cave and have avoided detection so far. We have enough water for a week, but we are rationing our food supplies. The wizard continues to cast a variety of spells, but none appear to working in this environment. I fear we may never reach our destination.

Can anyone from Paizo provide an estimate as to when this issue is likely to be resolved?

Does anyone know if Paizo even reads these threads or if a ticket needs to be opened somewhere?


I've emailed customer service and gotten the autoresponse email. Unsure of whether or not that will have much of an effect but it's worth a try?

They’re closed on the weekends just a heads up, they should be getting in and checking on things soonish hopefully.

They do, but they typically are not working on weekends. It's only 7 AM on monday morning where most of Paizo works, so it may be a couple hours before they have someone on to take care of things.


Just going to also chime in that I've been unable to purchase digital content since yesterday with a "url doesn't exist" error at the very end after clicking purchase.


I just tried and it worked. Managed to get all my downloads done properly


I bought the humble bundle and cannot download anything. I click on "save as single file," then it produces a download link, then nothing happens when I click it.

I checked the network status in console, and I'm getting 200s on the requests. So I have no idea why it isn't working.

I emailed support and got a response that this has been fixed. I just tested and was able to download my content!

Just tried. Did not work for me. Hasn't since I signed up for the site a while back. It's just a crap shot for a "Maybe" it'll work.

Tried a couple more times, don't click on the "Click here" link, try clicking on the actual product title. Got that to work reliably.


I think its due to browser-related issues. Ensure that your browser allows pop-ups and has the necessary permissions for downloads. Try an alternative browser if the problem persists. Additionally, consider checking your internet connection and disabling any browser extensions that might interfere with downloads. If the problem persists, contact Paizo customer support for further assistance.


Still having the same issue


Still facing the same issue here, I have tried two browsers, clearing cookies and cache, incognito mode, verified pop up blocks etc. It never even gets to the 60 seconds while personalizing. It says I downloaded the file today now though so that's great, I guess? I even tied opening in new windows, new tabs, anything I could think of with no luck. And all this after having issues even getting the sign in page to work and having to clear cookies and caches there just to even see the digital content page.

Love Paizo in general, but think they may be in the running for worst website for User interface/navigation and execution in the industry.
