Assassins of Dol Amroth: Middle Earth Pathfinder1e

Recruitment

Does anyone want to play a conversion of an old MERP module to PF?

Here are some rules that I think would work pretty well for such a campaign: The Middle Earth d20 Campaign. I'd say start at 8th level (your first level in these rules is an NPC class).

I'd be interested at first glance, I'll have a read through the links.

Liberty's Edge

Sounds like fun!! I would be very interested.

I like the "Tolkienverse" and feel it likely could be fun. I think it can fit with Pathfinder if you review the races, and maybe restrict the classes to core only as to keep it closer to traditional fantasy.

Take a look at the rules I linked -- it makes a lot of adjustments along those lines.

Just in case thread readers are skipping this over, This is the rules document on the website I linked that contains modifications to the PF1e rule set to create a LOTR-like mechanics system. There's another, earlier d20 one that's 200+ pages long I might take some ideas from, but this is specific to PF and I think relatively easy to digest. It limits the races and class selection, changes the races, and highlights some optional rules like wounds and vitality that make the game seem like a Tolkien novel in terms of power level and character type.

Sovereign Court

The rules look very interesting, tough for spellcasters though. How do you handle the level adjusted races? They stay 1st level until they meet the level adjustment (actually 2nd level as they have the one level of NPC class)?

Dark Archive

This looks interesting. Would you allow the Oracle?
