Where in the world of Golarion would you find a German accent?

Silver Crusade

Making a divine caster named Faust who has a devilish friend and I can’t find a good country of origin.

Silver Crusade

Ustalav is probably the closest.

I would go for Molthune, but that's largely because it mimics the militaristic style of 1850-1945 Germany. But the devilish friend suggests Cheliax, so he might have spent time in both countries.

Molthune

The River Kingdoms do have the "lots of small fiefdoms" and "next to [France]" angles going for them.

the Lands of the Linnorm Kings are the homeland for the Ulfen. If you are looking for a region based of earlier Germanic culture it would be a good choice.

Molthune is a Chelliax Colony and their main language besides common is Varisian. So while they may have some cultural similarity to more Germany I don’t think their language is going to very similar to German.

Ustalav does have Skald as a secondary language so are more likely to have a Germanic sounding accent. The speech patterns probably have a lot of Orc influence due to its proximity to the Hold of Belkzen.

Chelliax to me always seemed more Italian then German.
