I know asking for a new GM is always a longshot. We have a solid and very loyal group of players partway through Book 1 of Runelords... after 2 years.
Our GM never posted particularly frequently, but we stuck with it because, I think, we all were very interested in getting to experience this classic AP.
The GM posted about once a week, then once every two weeks, and now not at all for months.
In the first year, we have had some turnover, but the current group of players has stuck with it for the past year (despite the diminishing frequency) and all have expressed an interest in continuing with a new GM and hopefully more like the 1/day posting frequency that seems to be the default.
We are all 2nd level and in the dungeon under the Glassworks.
Trig Fanabarellalisa, Gnome Shaman
Morgrym Stonestepper, Dwarf Warpriest of Torag
Lazur Anil, Human Investigator
Calin Moonbreeze, Half-Elf Fighter
Wayland Egorius, Human Diviner
Anybody interested in taking this on?

Alrighty. I’ve skimmed through the game and I think we’ll be a good fit. I like the character dynamics going on.
I suppose I should introduce myself. I’ve been playing pathfinder for over nine years and I’ve been in pbp games almost as long. I have GM’d several games some of which lasted for a good while before fizzling. I am familiar with Rise of the Runelords and I do have the anniversary edition. I love role play and banter between characters, so you can count on opportunities for that. I tend to not post maps, though, but I will if that makes thinks easier on y’all.
That said, while I can’t guarantee we’ll finish, I can promise that l’ll do my best to do so and that if I have to drop for any reason, you’ll know about why. I don’t plan on that happening, but I do want y’all to know that I won’t be leaving you in the dark wondering what happened.
So, if y’all will have me, I’d be honored to GM for y’all.

I'd be glad to have you! Thanks for stepping up. I asked my fellow players to pop in to second the motion.
I am in a great game that is mostly theater of the mind and in some great games that use maps every time. Either way can work for me. I'll just focus on spells and tactics that work for that approach (such as using more targeted spells than area spells).

I'll be glad to have you. I prefer maps but I can work without them. We may just have to retcon things now and then if there is a misunderstanding of the situation. Just so you know, I am in two RotRL games. The other is all clerics and we are in the glassworks currently. I joined when I figued this one was dead. I shouldn't have any issues keeping character and player knowledge separate.

Great to see so much interest! Thank you all.
@Evindyl - I know there are other Varisia APs as well, just that at this point even finishing Book 1 is quite a goal.
@DM-Camris - what frequency of posting do you think you could maintain? I see that in your Ironfang game you were seeking to increase your tempo.
@Isthill - Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer.
@Rizzenmagnus - wouldn't our groups be too big to combine? I think our group is still at five players (one of whom, you noted, is also in your game).

in theory, it would be. but pbp tends to, in a strange way, even it out.
from what ive experienced with running a couple large group adventures:
with a group of 4-5 players, you usually have 1 or 2 players that do most of the talking, with 1-2 sitting back and giving minimal action. when combat happens, then everyone chimes in. 5-7, its about 3-4 that mostly talk, and 3 hang back. you get 8+ members, you'll have 4-5 that chat a lot, and the rest are silent. usually the silence is because they are busy with irl things. While a 9 player group sounds huge, an experienced DM would be looking at roughly 4-6 players contributing on a daily basis, 5-7 3x a week, and all 9 at least once a week. And when combat happens, then all 9 chime in.
