In another thread, a community member reported Mark Moreland giving a hint about the next unannounced AP in a Know Direction podcast.
of more note was the next unknown AP tease (will be announced in September sometime) this was his hint
"The next AP has a NUMBER (Multiple whole Numbers) and and an ABILITY SCORE NAME in the title."
"Constitution" could be something to do with Andoran ... or Galt! :D

I can't decide whether I should guess "Six Tests of The Strength of Five Kings" or "Six Tests of The Wisdom of Five Kings," but either would be good because the Dwarves are overdue for some screen time, the Eye of Dread region has seen some big changes, and the letters "S" and "W" are popular for AP titles.
Considered but rejected as my guesses:
1. Two Constitutions, Once Again Two Nations (Brevoy!)
2. Four Foes, Three Gems, One Intelligence (Elemental Lords!)
3. One with Dexterity Enough for the Deck of Fifty-Five (Harrow!)
4. Six Charismatic Voices, Five Honorable Tongues
5. One Intelligence, Four Blades (Galt)
6. Wisdom of One and Ninety-Three (Holomog)
7. The Four Strengths of the Ninth Battalion (b/c assumed party size is 4)
The biggest problem with these is that they're all long for AP titles, as exactly two of twenty-nine (or thirty-seven, county Starfinder) have been as many as five words long in the post-Dungeon Magazine era.

If I had to guess it'd be "Strength/Wisdom of the [insert number here which is 10 or above]" (note it says multiple whole numbers, ruling out a singular number). I'd like to think this is going to finally tackle Galt via a council who is running the Reign of Terror, but I do suspect it's probably more likely to be Dwarf related or Mwangi/Garund (if the writer has been talking about it).

One of the many cool things about Legends is that it told us a bit more about the Ten Magic Warriors. We have their titles, and some of their ancestries*. I'm not saying that this wouldn't have been done if there wasn't a Wisdom of the Ten AP in the pipeline, I'm just pointing out the awfully fortuitous timing. (I really hope it's coming)

Now I’m just mad about that last one not being playable any time soon again.

The real question isn't the name of the next AP, but which part of Kortos it will exclusively occupy.
(rolls eyes)
We're spending pretty much the same amount of time on Kortos in 2nd edition Adventure Paths as we did in 1st edition in Varisia. This is 100% intentional, so that newcomers to the game can have about a year and a half to get used to the setting and the rules, rather than giving them lore whiplash and expecting them to have to re-learn a region in order to play another Adventure Path... but also to spend a year and a half establishing the "face" of the edition as far as the world is concerned.
In fact, we put off that acclimation period a half-year in order to do Age of Ashes.
But just as the 2nd half of the third 1st edition Adventure Path moved out of Varisia and into other parts of the world (Darklands and Kyonin), the "2nd half" of the third 2nd edition "acclimation" path is moving away... this time to Tian Xia with Fists of the Ruby Phoenix.
The current plan is to announce the Adventure Path after that next month. And just as Legacy of Fire didn't go back to Varisia, this upcoming Adventure Path won't go back to Starstone Isle.

Also, a sixth of Curse of the Crimson Throne took place in the Hold of Belkzen ;)

What is the announcement plan for this, exactly? Will there be a Paizo seminar during virtual DragonCon? Some other con? Just a blog post? Erik Mona & Know Direction? Paizo Twitch event?

You'll need to be patient and wait and see. We haven't made public the plan, but rest assured that however we do it, we'll not hide the announcement. If you check the Paizo blog regularly you'll see it.

Unicore wrote:"Wisdom of the 10 Magic Warriors"Seconding this guess, as it is the only one so far that has sounded like an AP title.
EDIT: it sounds even more like Old-Mage Jatembe's spellbook, "Wisdom of Jatembe." Not sure where that name comes from, but I believe it's the Arcane Anthology.
Depending on how to interpret "multiple whole numbers," in the quote from Luis this title may not answer the description. But Ten Masks, One Wisdom would, though.

Thank you James Jacobs for all the patience you show this community and your willingness to keep us informed about the incredible world that you and all the folks at Paizo have created together.

Looks awesome!
I found it somewhat difficult to locate the twitch vod so that's the link if you want to watch it yourself.

And... another AP that's 'meh' to me on the face of it. I never was interested in Magaambya, though.
Generally my outlook. Age of Ashes was cool, Extinction Curse is pretty neat, Agents of Edgewatch seems to be totally my jam, the mini-ones don't appeal to me (not really into Eastern Fantasy or dungeon-crawls) and while faux-Harry Potter does seem it'd be ripe for a lot of fun and silliness (even if I didn't grow up with the books/films) I'm not really into the Magaambya at all. Each their own though, it's not exactly a put down but rather "not my cup of tea".

Ohhhh my god space stuff. This is a dream come true. What else has that author done?

He's also now a Designer for the rules team, so all Rulebooks going forward :3
No, that position is still being decided on. Whoever's picked from that will bring the design team back up to 4.

So is there any other details of this ap since no disrespect but what has been mentioned so far aint really exciting me.
You start as students in the Magaambya--I think just the first book is explicitly set there. You gain repute and status of "teacher," which in the Magaambya often means you wander around and, in their words, help "troubleshoot" the world around you. One book is set in the Sodden Lands and might actually directly deal with the Eye of Abednego, another is set in an ancient dead city run by a lich or something? And another book is set off planet. The final one brings it home, so I'm thinking at most three of six books are in or centered around the Academy itself. My guess is as well that serpentfolk make a significant appearance too.
Frankly, the stream was about 20 or 25 minutes long, once you factor out the glitches, and the whole thing is still easily viewable online. If you find yourself hungry for more specifics, that's your next best stop.
I love it. Non-European fantasy making a strong presence in PF2 is awesome. Banking on African fantasy is a gamble but I really have enjoyed their gambles so far.

I'm curious how it is that I get status within the Magaambya as someone who cannot cast a single spell. I'm sure this will be addressed, but I'm curious how exactly.
The PAX panel addressed it.

The “lich city” is Mzali, home of the undead child god Walkena, a long established presence in the Mwangi. It’s very much not dead, but lead by a corrupted sun religion and its mummified leader. Hopefully some Bright Lions info also shows up.

If that's the 4th book, it's unlikely the party will be strong enough to confront Walkena directly - that's more of an endgame foe, I'd expect. Which is sad.
We don't know much at the moment, but it's feeling a bit disjointed to me - there's no word of any connection between the threats you're dealing with. The Magaambya is the connection and as teachers there you travel around and deal with problems, which is fine as a hook. I'm just wondering if there is a metaplot or main villain for the whole AP.

You might be thinking of To Kill a Star, the last book of the Legendary Planet AP by Legendary Games. Fantastic AP, BTW.

Oh you're right! Mummy, lich... wasn't way off.
I really hope it's more like book 5 of Extinction Curse, where you go to a dark and twisty land, but you're just there to do something else, not upset the whole order of things. With any luck that will be more intrigue or social sorts of stuff in that book!

Since it's book 4, I doubt you'd be in a position to take on Walkena head on. Likely some other business there.
