The title says it all. Of course the Paizo booth (103, 403) is #1 on the list, but what other exhibitors are worth more than a "drive by"? What exhibitors are you excited to visit and why?
Don't limit it to just RPGs. In addition to Pathfinder and Starfinder, I am also a fan of Warhammer 40K (both from the crafting and gameplay perspective), classic tactical board games like Axis & Allies and Risk, as well as the Summoner Wars card game. I have a list of "must see" booths I plan to visit, but there are hundreds more...

Just discovered that Hirst Arts, makers of plaster molds for 3D terrain, is not going to be at Gen Con this year. Very disappointing as I have dozens of their molds and I love to see the models they display and any new molds they have created. There is always another mold or two I add to my collection and buying at Gen Con means no shipping.
My only must-see is Chessex. I'm thinking I need a new set of dice to celebrate the launch of PF2.

Dwarven Forge...Its exciting that they have a new deluxe set that will simulate a map from the new Pathfinder 2E module The Fall of Plaguestone. Really gotta see that and what the price is.
Yup! Very excited for that. Brought ~60 lbs of DF stuff to PaizoCon for a fan-event I ran, none of my PFS scenarios would have worked well with it though. Looking forward to get the PFS2 scenarios whenever they drop and seeing if its worth bringing terrain for them to GenCon.
I'll definitely be picking up the stuff they do for Fall of Plaguestone, but will need to see if they have small breakout sets of new pieces, since I likely have any standard pieces already.
They're also still posting their short ~90 minute booth games, that I'm looking to see if I can grab one. (If not I'll be emailing you/GenCon organizers to add another block or two).

I usually stop by #829 Chaosium to chat with the fine folks there. Gonna be a bit weird this year with Greg shuffling off the mortal coil. It was always fun to talk with him and I will miss that.
I will brave the wilds to locate #1852 R. Talsorian Games; ask how the Witcher RPG is going for them and inquire about future books.
#1929, #2029 for Shadows of Esteren by Agate RPG. Sweet mercy as these books gorgeous. I think I will fill out my collection this year.
Beyond that, I usually just walk around and take in the place. Maybe this year I will finally obtain a "Yeah, they're natural" tee shirt.

Tempted to stop by the Ninja Division booth just to give them a piece of my mind. Normally I wouldn't bother, but they have a lot of nerve showing up at GenCon this year after all the bad feelings they caused with the Starfinder community.

Chessex is always a must.
Probably look for Looney Games... Get the MacGuffin was a big win, may get another copy, or what have you.
Of course Paizo, plan to burn through all of my store credits.
So many others to check out... if there is time I tend to check out many of the single minis dealers.
Maybe, if I have time, I will even demo a game this year with someone? I know, crazy talk

541 Bezier Games: I'm a huge fan of Suburbia, and have liked their other games.
124 Impact Miniatures: The best source for dice with odd numbers of sides. I need another d5.
260/2718/3046 Metallic Dice Games: I really like their dice, especially the 'torched rainbow' style which I'll be getting more of.
437 Lone Wolf & Syrinscape: Hopefully I can grill them on when HLO will support organized play. Or win a year's subscription to syrinscape. Or both.
2001 Bricks & Boards: I get most of my legos through bricklink, but seeing some in person is useful.
2120 Anime Depot: Cheap dvd's.
Artist Alley: As I'm trying to get into selling art I make, things like other peoples commision sheets is useful reference.
Fancy tables - no particular booth, but if there's a contest for a free fancy table, I'll enter.

Every year I make my way to this booth (along with Posthuman Studios and Eclipse Phase). Admittedly, it's tricky, because I already own all their products from backing their Kickstarters, but these people create some of the most stunning books I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Somewhere near the middle-back many of the more prolific webcomic artists have booths. It's fun to stop and say 'Hi' to people who's work I've enjoyed for years. Maybe even throw some money at them. Hmm. I think it's time to start petitioning David Morgan-Mars to attend GenCon.
A Chessex pitcher-full is a tradition for me. They have 4 or 5 booths all over the hall. Always at the end of a row.
Steve is frequently just hanging-out talking with people at Steve Jackson Games. I've gotten to shake his hand a couple times.
If you're as bad with names as me, swing by the author's row and look at the titles on display. I had never realized I liked so many different Timothy Zahn titles, until I met him.
I like to spend a little time wandering through the smaller booths over in the leg-of-the-L. Nice way to see a bunch of smaller companies I'm not familiar with.
If you have a situational penalty to dice-related saves, be careful. There are a *lot* of smaller dice vendors with incredible wares. Still debating that black stone, looks-like-a-starfield set I ogled two years ago. $75, I think.

It's very complicated. As far as I have been able to piece together, the Starfinder minis you can find on the shelf were a separate deal from the Starfinder Kickstarter Paizo allowed Ninja Division to do. Short answer is that Ninja Division had lost big money on a previous kickstarter and had been borrowing money from future kickstarters to pay their debts. Even though the Starfinder Kickstarter exceeded its stretch goals, this 'robbing Peter to pay Paul' finally caught up with them and the company actually doing the manufacturing, Archon, stopped shipping product because Ninja Division wasn't paying their bills (and may actually destroy what remaining product they have in storage to avoid paying taxes on it). This means, of course, that not only are the Kickstarter supporters probably out their money, but, except for the small number of Starfinder minis Ninja Division did get released (8 months?) late, we won't start seeing a full line of Starfinder minis until sometime in 2020 when the WizKids Starfinder line comes out, i.e. 3 years after Starfinder was first released. Paizo, to their credit, is still trying to work with Ninja Division to get this sorted out and get the minis actually delivered, but Ninja Division has a history of being long on promises and short on delivery.

I think most of us feel the same way towards them at the moment, but maybe stopping by their booth and asking for an update will help to mend some of the heartache. I just don't want this thread to disintegrate into a ND-hate fest. The hope is that people will share their knowledge of some lesser known exhibitors and give us a reason to stop at their booth to check it out. Its so busy in the exhibitor's hall that its easy to overlook companies you are not specifically looking for.
