GM Wanted - Wrath of the Righteous Book 1: The Worldwound Incursion

Recruitment

Good afternoon everyone! We stand on the cusp of mythic power, but unfortunate circumstances have left us in need of a new GM. We were struggling with the assault on the Gray Garrison due to demonic DR, so Azura was having us assist a ramshackle war-camp of survivors just outside Kenabres' walls in exchange for some more cold iron gear. Our campaign and its homebrew sister campaign contain the following players:

Uriel Aurelius, grandson of Ragathiel and a fearless front-liner!
Kelly Littlekettle, a courageous cook who slices and dices demons!
Sario Ulum Taliesin, a bright and beautiful druidess!
Telerin Quenya, elven inheritor of the Riftwardens' knowledge and power!
And me, Arloric Dziergas-Highbough, demon-scarred druid and last son of Sarkoris (though before the game fell through I was preparing to retrain him to be a Filidh bard)!

Please don't worry about juggling two campaigns at once if you choose to GM us. While Azura proudly took on the Herculean task of running the published AP and a separate story for other players behind the scenes, but not all the players have decided to continue as the ones listed here have. But we've all played for years, and would like to keep going, so if you'd like to check out the Gameplay threads and help keep these beacons of hope shining, sign up! :)

It was really a fun game. A lot of games get stale after years, but this one had really kept me excited. Would love to see someone pick it up, so my aasimar Paladin can keep smiting demons in ‘grandfather’ Ragathiel’s name.

I am still in as well, a cleric of Sarenrae without a fancy description. Sorry. My wife and I were terribly sick over the holidays.

We are a pretty good group. We have been together for a little over 2 years.

Lots of PC's to choose from as well

HI! I would love to keep going, as Mythic was going to make my build actually come online

I am the erstwhile DM! While most games unravel due to the DM vanishing, I'm still here - but my schedule has shifted untenably because of health reasons, and as a result I just can't commit to running a lot of games. (Also, I hadn't planned to run these in the first place; the original DM of the core Wrath of the Righteous group vanished, so I took it over, and I was running the spin-off game for people who didn't make it into the original game's recruitment).

I just don't have the time to do maps and plans and details and the like. BUT I will gladly answer questions about what has happened, where the players have been, and what plans I had for the game for any prospective DM who might show up.

Good luck!

We had fun with Azura!

I'm dotting this because this is very tempting but I want to see how some other games I've applied to play in pan out before I decide.

I'm going to have pass on this for a couple of reasons. I won't bore you with the details since they have nothing to do with you really.

I hope you find a GM soon you're a good group.

Thank you for your consideration :)

Indeed. So the search continues!

Bumping! We are still available for a GM. :)

Bump bump

Hey, guys. I might be in the market for a new game.

Could you better explain the situation with the two campaigns?

Azura took some folks who hadn’t made the initial recruitment and bundled them into a homebfew game run in the same background setting (Kenabres immediately post-incursion). A few months later the original GM disappeared and Azura was kind enough to take on our party as well. Since then the two campaigns have been running more or less in parallel, and I believe the actual AP content has been split between groups (our group has gotten most of it, but still been part-homebrew). The two groups met up once, decided as a larger group who would take what missions, and re-split (with a couple of players being exchanged between groups).

And the two groups have been condensed into one?

Kidna sorta, I mean it depends on who wants to play still. I have no issue dropping with Sario to make it an easier decision for a GM

For the most part. I asked in both groups to post here if they wanted to keep playing, and some players have announced their desire to move on.

Also be aware that my own character was going to be rebuilt as a bard for the transition, so Sario won't necessarily be redundant.

Are we moving the discussion over to the other, orignal, thread?
