Anything is better than actually doing the dishes (didn't I wash those yesterday?).

Yay, on to a third page and a new alias, this requires standing with one leg poised on a log with my shirt mysteriously ripped while a fan off camera blows my hair.

May I join you? I need a hero.

You can borrow my hairspray if you want.

I would beg them to play at my house.

"Humans and Households"?

Hashtag-same.

(Ours is the Cthulu Mythos variant of that AP, tho.)

Oh, that's the cleaning out the fridge part.

This winter I learned if you look like me and don't really talk much and ride in a truck with someone shoveling snow for 15-19 hours they'll tell you EVERYTHING about themselves, no matter how much you don't want to know.

Yup.

Why are mermaids always depicted wearing lipstick.

Does no one understand the effects water has on makeup.

I'm seriously asking, I certainly don't.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Maybe their lips are naturally that colour.

Oh, that's the cleaning out the fridge part.

Our fridge is actually in a pretty good place, right now...

What kind of character should I make for War For The Crown.

Definitely an elf, but what class?

Should I pick a class with a familiar so I can slap the figment archetype on it.

1d4 ⇒ 4 of us suggest playing a shaman

Edit: Oops, the figment template won't work with the shaman's spirit animal.

Slight twist on the 1/x inspired blade swashbuckler/empricist investigator - add variant multiclassing a diviner wizard to that.

Edit: Specifically the subschool of divination that gives you rerolls and an initiative bonus. It's all kinds of fun.

I see what you guys are saying, I should use rulebooks to make characters.

Now, to go find out what all that means.

Living underwater I think they would come up with water proof make up..

Or....

It is tattooed on...

Or...

The red is bloodstained from all the sailors they eat...

Pick whichever answer best suit your mood at the time...

Yeah, it's probably a little more on the "optimized" side of what you usually do.

1 level of inspired blade swashbuckler makes your panache pool work off INT instead of CHA. Also gives a couple free feats like weapon finesse and weapon focus rapier.

Empiricist investigator makes several skills work off INT instead of whatever they did previously, and gives some other nice little perks.

Mostly, that combo gives you an INT-based skill monkey with alchemy (just like the alchemist) and a couple free feats to make you not terrible with a rapier.

With the variant multiclassed diviner wizard, you get a familiar at level 3. The one character I've built this way had a figment fox familiar.

I was creating the character as an interpretation of Alex Verus from author Benedict Jakka.

It's starting to turn to spring and I start to feel the winter burnout, go figure.

I turned on the A/C today. Sweet, sweet air conditioning.

I turned mine on Saturday night for our game session. It was 74 outside with storms so we didn't want the windows open for fear of the wind blowing rain into the house. Inside the house, it got up to nearly 80 with everyone crammed into the living room. So yeah, A/C it was.

It got up to 45 degrees today, I wore shorts.

I'm not allowed to wear shorts to the office, otherwise I would have. It hit 50 for us.

I also shaved off the beard, keeping a goatee of course.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

But of course. We are men of taste.

So how many alias do you have now?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

490.

I thought of another one the other day but forgot it by the time I had time to write it down.

{adjusts knob on foil-lined colander of conspiracy piercing} This sounds like a ploy of CY's evil be-goateed doppelgänger to throw us off his tracks.

That's right. I mean, even Spock was evil with a goatee.

Actually I have a goatee almost all the time, except in winter when I let it go so I don't need a scarf.

But, if I go full goatee with connecting mustache and everything then the kids call me the evil version of myself.

Interesting. I never considered that a full beard is actually just an evil goatee wearing a hairy disguise.

It occurs to me just now that dwarves should be able to gain a beard familiar.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I'm not sure I like the idea of a beard familiar. I don't want part of my own face talking back to me.

It would also probably inspire a Drizzt-load of players' dwarves acting like Zaphod Beeblebrox.
