Does anyone know at what temperature and for how long one should bake a foot tall snowman made of mud.

I always think it makes you look like a band leader.

Like The Music Man meets Them!

Let's see...

(1) Being in California, we get no snow, and
(2) Being in California, we get no rain, hence no mud.

Sorry. You are beyond my realm of comprehension.

You have artists and hipsters, ask one of them, surely someone has tried to bake a mudman.

Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. He would barge in to the competition due to his Napoleon complex, then magically soften up the opponent's arms like he did that one time in the original source.

Does anyone know how to sell 2002 Subaru Forester that has 195,000 miles, some rust that makes it not able to pass state inspection and probably some damage that's probably going to cost between 2,000 to 3,000 on TOP of the rust part? Oh and let's not forget the alignment on the front tires is WAY out of wack and the AC compressor is shot...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Sell it to a local used parts company.

I'm pretty sure Napoleon didn't have a robot arm, although you never know. I personally had no idea Lincoln was a Vampire Hunter.

Don't sell it, wait for the dark colored SUVs and that one nefarious looking sports car with super tinted windows to arrive asking for it, it's clearly an Autobot.

Captain,

Some how I doubt it...

Cal,

I'm not sure I'd know such a place...but again I'm not well versed in selling a car. (Cites his last attempt and got ripped by a dealership when they asked me "How much did you want for it?" and my mom said "50 dollars." And that's what I got for a car that could have at least given me 500...)

The 2002 Subaru's are still supposed to have the rock-solid reliable engines and drive trains that the Subbie beancounters phased out in the recent models.

1) Is the rust a reliability or safety issue?

b) Is the $2000/$3000 damage a reliability or safety issue?

π) Is the alignment fixable? If so, do you have estimates?

I'd suggest your best bet is likely to offer to sell it for parts. Rural mail carriers love their old Subbies, often converted to right-hand drive (example), for hauling mail. Your Forester could be a donor of numerous salvageable parts to keep another mail-runner Forester on the road a while longer.

If your Forester is otherwise running, reliable, and drivable, you might also find a rural mail carrier willing to buy it off you for a reasonable price. The rural carrier will need to fix the alignment (and likely at least some of the other repairs), but they learn to live without A/C*; it's far more important that the heater works in winter.

You can ask around at a couple of your local post offices to see if there are any rural carriers who might be interested; if you do this, print up some handouts with detailed info and photographs that you can leave with them. You might also ask your local Subaru dealership if they know anyone needing one as a driver or parts donor. FWIW/FYI, my local Subaru dealer is owned by the local weaselly Hyundai/Kia/Misubishi megadealership, and they lied about repairing my imported-from-Japan right-hand drive Legacy, then turned around in the next breath to try and low-ball me to "take it off my hands." So do your online research first. Check out what other similar used Foresters are selling for on Craigslist, AutoTrader, etc. If you consider asking at your local dealer, also dig into their reputation.

* I had the A/C condenser coil removed out of my Legacy and installed an extra pair of big !ss cooling fans for the radiator and an oil cooler for the transmission.

Follow your normal procedure for baking a foot tall mudman made of snow but multiply all measurements by 20.

So, cover it in coconut and throw it in a deep fryer.

Thanks Scint, Cal, and Selene, I'll look into those!

This is why I love no parameters, I never would have considered inquisitor, Abadar, Shelyn as options.

Keep them coming, if you want, I probably won't make my character until tomorrow, and then I'll finalize which path we're playing.

Most likely Wrath of the Righteous, but they've been known to switch that on me.
