Animal Companions and Combat Maneuvers

Rules Questions

If my companion knows the appropriate trick to trip a foe, can it be instructed to trip as part of a full attack?

This would be for PFS, so give me the RAWest RAW of the RAW you have!

What "appropriate trick to trip a foe" are you talking about? AFAIK there aren't tricks for combat maneuvers, they're just attack modes.

Pick an animal companion that already has trip as part of the attack action (wolf), then you can use the Attack combat trick.

There is a "maneuver" trick that was published with Ultimate Wilderness (iirc), that allows you to command the companion to perform a specific combat maneuver.

I would normally consider a different companion, but I am trying my hardest to make a mean Grizzly Bear! Following up a trip with the rest of the full attack would be nice.

Ordering a companion to perform a trick that they know is a free action, so there shouldn't be anything wrong, in my opinion, with shouting "trip", and then "attack"...

So do these "maneuver" tricks provoke AOO's???

I mean, they're combat maneuvers, aren't they? So unless you've got the feats for it, they provoke.

Me, I'd be looking for ways to amp up the grizzly's grab; it's built into their attacks and they're pretty good at it as-is. Great way to shut down tough opponents you don't want running around.
