Let me just say that this is an interest check that a solo game exchangee was interested in during an offsite discussionon Discord that blew in proportions from idea of a solo/duo game to a full-on multiplayer campaign concept.
The setting would be ripped straight from the Salt and Sanctuary game. If you are unfamiliar with it,
there is a pretty sizable lorebook located on the Salt and Sanctuary sub-Reddit. If you would rather not read that large lore book to figure out if you are interested, let me offer a summary for you.
Salt and Sanctuary's setting combines aspects from the Game of Thrones novels and the Soulsborne games into a very interesting and unique world. The world has warring nations and political schemes like Game of Thrones, a dark curse of undeath brought about by a fallen god similar to Dark Souls, and Lovecraftian horrors orchestrate their schemes in the background to the ruin of all. The world has several fleshed out nations, a small but vibrant cast of gods and philosophies, and a ton of myths and lore.
What the potential player and I want to know is if other people want to get in on this action? If not, I will run the game solo for him. If people are though, I can only imagine how epic this campaign could be.

I've downloaded the source book and will read through it. Put me down as interested in playing. Golarion is fun, but so are other worlds.

I love lovecraftian horrors,this sounds like a really fun world to explore. If I got to play I already have my character in mind I would wanna be some sort of follower of one of these gods,with the intention of gaining power(will work out why I want power. Maybe some deep seated fear of being too weak to survive the world that he views as a meatgrinder?who knows?
Is this also a system unto itself?
Skimming through the book I didn't find any info about rules, which is super fine.
Would we be playing Pathfinder, or 5e, or perhaps something along the lines of OSR?
Regardless I'm very interested in the tone of this setting.

Despite getting set back by holidays and a character creation/world guideline for a game I agreed to run for someone offsite, the recruitment for this game is nearly finished. I will summarize some of the lore of the setting in a way that will let people just take a quick skim over all of it.
