Can GM boons be traded with other GMs? I really have no desire to play a monkey person, and unless someone is kind enough to buy me the core starfinder book, I'm basically locked out of GMing it (though if someone buys it for me in time, I'd run a scenario for session 2).

1) GM Boons can be traded. There is even a Boon-Trading Thread on the PFS forums for that purpose.

2) Samsarans are not monkey-people.* They are rather interesting, especially with all the fluff about their past lives. Samsarans with the mystic past life racial trait can even do something few other casters can do, add a few spells from another class to their spell list. It's super cool, actually.

I have a question/request!

In fact, I had this same question/request last Gameday, and they didn't fix the issue this time either!

We are asked to make our players roll a d4 for a boon if they win one... but nothing on the reporting sheet specifies which boon goes with which number, nor are we given that information in the email we received about the boons.

Would be very helpful, if you put a number in the name of each one on the dropdown, so we knew which one was which.

The assumption I can only guess is the order they appear in the dropdown, but something more clear would be nice.

I noticed that there aren't any PACG Play-By-Post games listed. While I I don't have the time to participate (I'm LARPing and therefore AFK for the two middle weekends in October), I know some folks have done some pbp PACG over on the PACG org play forums.

I would like to reopen recruitment for the second session, if any of you have wizards, arcanists or magus (& witch/alchemists) that find themselves free.

FWIW Sanos Abduction is a place holder, I am willing to go with another scenario if it means getting a bunch of spell trading for you book-types. :)

Just out of curiosity, how firm is the deadline for reporting? My table has taken about a month to (approximately, there's like 1 round of combat remaining) finish the first two of the Starfinder Quests. If they keep to the same pace they may not finish the final quest before November 17th.

Can I report results after the 4th quest and then finish the 5th one outside of the official pbp gameday? It doesn't change the actual info that would get reported anyway,since the XP and Fame reward is the same for 4 quests vs 5 quests. Or should I just make more of an effort to keep things moving along between now and the deadline?

There’s four players boons. Two are faction-related, one makes you harder to kill and one opens up new mounts. You can see the list when you hit the reporting link.

Although it’s always a good idea to keep things moving, last year we did offer some extensions, particularly for tables that had lost GMs or had other extenuating circumstances. Reporting when you have your 4th quest done seems like a good compromise, but remember that the holidays slow posting way down.

The deadline is absolutely firm for all Specials though. Those must be reported by the end of Gameday.

Mechanically, the way the quests work there should be no problem reporting after the 4th is completed, though they wouldn't be able to use the character for anything else while still participating in the pbp and you wouldn't report the 5th session.

Logistically, the third and fourth quests tend to be much faster than the first two... the fifth can take a while though.
