Mmm...I do have a summoner with a more...intimate bond with her Eidolon...she was kept under lock and key with only books because her parents wanted to keep her safe...so she created a imaginary friend...and as she got older...well I am sure you can imagine...
The funny part is the character is a very shy bookworm type...so when she is attracted to somebody the she would never say so...so the Eidolon does.
Sigh i hope one day to get back to that character...

Hello ladies and gents. With the help of Zelgadas I have pieced together an Occultist archetype and I am fairly sure I got the language down fairly well. As much as I might try though I am having a hard time thinking of a name for the Archetype and maybe a replacement name for an ability, though the new ability with the old name is still fairly fitting.
The archetype is an occultist that is able to uncover information about individuals by using Sleight of Hand to touch certain objects they are wearing (jewelry, clothing, etc.) and later on even deduce their romantic/sexual orientation by studying them for a moment.
Object Reading might need a new name, but the old one could work. It is modified heavily though, so I think a new name would be justified.
Any ideas?

Psychometrist/Psychometry?
The two new Eidolon forms are Fey and Servitor, which are both modified versions of the humanoid form. The Fey type is suitable for making fey-like eidolons, while the Servitor type gets increased skills and language. Both gain non-standard stat increases (Dex/Cha for the Fey, Int/Cha for the Servitor, rather than the usual Str/Dex) as the summoner gains levels.
Since you're doing a Servitor eidelon, I wonder if a Mistress/Master eidelon would be mechanically workable with a sub summoner? Or an archetype where the summoner and eidelon can switch out which is the sub and which the dom?
Edit: Oops, messed up Wrathguard's post by editing on the fly.

A Servitor Eidolon would certainly be smart enough to play the Dom role if that's what its master desired. Technically the Summoner would be in constant control, but then that is supposed to be how actual BDSM play works (with proper application of the safeword or safewords).

Also considering the level of mental contact a summoner has with her Eidolon...the Eidolon would know exactly how much is too much...and other stuff...
Thinking about is there anything in the book that allows that level of mental connection between partners...like a spell or magic item...or feat?

On the magic side, there is also the Core spell "Telepathic Bond". It's arcane by default, but I seem to recall it shows up as a domain spell enough to have divine versions as well. A scroll of that would allow for such a mental connection between partners, or maybe some sort of magic wafer that gets broken up and eaten by each person it will effect (as a wondrous item) would do the trick for non-casters.

Aaaand here's the 150 backers goal hit! Oh, you don't know what awaits you with the Empassioned Rogue! Will is SO MUCH better than me at writing erotic fantasy!
Well, this means we have begun to work towards the next stretch goal, haven't we? And the 13,600 $ goal are passion class options for the classes from Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Combat, and Ultimate Intrigue! So... what class would you want to know about first?

Well, I wished to show you what you "could" have, while witches are something you "will" see for sure now, but... ^_^
For Witches, we have nine new hexes, three new patrons, and the Fairy Godmother archetype.
While witches also deal in birth control, they are better known for cruel curses. With these hexes, they can be one and the same.
The Fertility, Hearth, and Nourishment patrons provide some new flavor (and some interesting spells) to witches who specialize in growing things or home and family.
The Fairy Godmother gains power over children as well as the unborn, reading destinies and unweaving fates. Whether she does this to protect a ward or torture an enemy through their offspring is up to the individual godmother.

For those reading the update and wondering who Agrat bat Mahlat is, I have a small snipet of text copied from Wikipeda.
She is... one of four angels of sacred prostitution, who mates with archangel Samael. Her fellow [angels of sacred prostitution] are Lilith, Naamah, and Eisheth.
Two of those names might be familiar to fans of a certain novel series that was mentioned earlier in this thread....
Edit: Oh! Nearly forgot. Samael and Lilith also appear in the Book of Passion as Devil/Demon Lords (respectively).

Which also works nicely as variant servants/names/aspects of all of those empyreal lord thingies from Champions of Good or whatever the new good celestial book is from Paizo...

Oh, I haven't seen that yet. Sounds neat!
Also, while the update said "celestial hierarch" or somesuch, that is only because we had a last minute legal question about whether or not 3rd party publishers are allowed to say empyreal lords. We're checking with legal, but in the meantime we have that as the filler term.

Any news today? :3
Well, since the next stretch goal includes materials from Ultimate Intrigue, I've spent the day (actually the past several days) working on material for the Vigilante.
So far, that includes three new Social Talents, two new Vigilante Talents, and several new Vigilante archetypes.
One of the social talents grants the ability to maintain a salon - that is, a place where people (usually wealthy nobles) hang out, drink, and talk - that allows the vigilante to control the social dynamic of the room (granting bonuses to influence checks).
One of them is an archetype that doesn't replace vigilante specialization (meaning that the archetype can be applied to almost any other vigilante specialization, including other archetypes). It has a specialized talent list that borrows a bit from the swashbuckler to give your vigilante a Don Juan/Zorro feel.
Of course, all this cool new stuff we've been working on only gets added if we make the next stretch goal. So keep trying to get the link to new people who might be able to help back the project (which I know you're all already doing, so this is kinda pointless, but I should say it anyway since I haven't in a few days).
Edit: Also, if it isn't clear above, I didn't write all of that myself - Margherita and I have been working together (as per usual). The archetype I was talking about above - that was all her. I fully admit to being a bit jealous that I didn't think of it first.

Make sure legal knows to check the PRD and see if the term comes up there. ;)

I already checked the d20PFSRD, which is why I used the term Empyreal Lord in the first place. However, I have passed on your link to the higher-ups in the hopes that it will facilitate the resolution of this legal question.

For those that haven't checked out the Kickstarter page recently, it's now listing a target amount for the Bestiary stretch goal: $17,600 unlocks the stand-alone PDF with 30 monsters! There's only seven days left, and almost $5k to go to get that far, so everyone spread the word!
In the meantime, a question: since we're less than $1,000 from unlocking the next class-based stretch goal, I'm curious what class options there'll be for the anti-paladin?

Actually, that was supposed to be 30+. The number is actually closer to 45 (counting example monsters for the templates and player races).

One archetype.
The main function of said archetype is to adjust the fiendish boon from a fiendish servant into a lust thrall.

Hello everyone!
I want to say I love the premise of the book and look forward to the completed product. It drives me nuts that anything regarding physical intimacy and even just plain nudity is not allowed but massive violence and gore is.

Christina, a logistics question for you if you would be so kind to answer:
I pledged for the Iconic level and have a couple of nonstandard race ideas for the character and am waiting for the class archetypes to be revealed before I apply a background to her. I just want to know if the Iconic is 1) now the exclusive property of Christina Styles Presents, 2) is mine but permanently leased to the Book of Passion or 3) jointly owned by the two of us.
Part of the reason I ask is because I can afford the hardcover plus tier ($65) easily even with how sporadic the income has been given my industry is just going into season (and actually pledged for it before I decided to upgrade to the Iconic) but the Iconic ($150) is going to push my finances a little so I am curious what exactly I get besides the hardcover plus tier and two pictures of my Iconic for that money. Basically, do I still have any right to the character and can use it in other projects I participate in or is out of my control after it’s written up and drawn?
Thanks for answering the questions since I have not found the answer in any of the texts on the kickstarter page or the Paizo thread yet.

The character would become my copyright. However, that does not mean it wouldn't necessarily be opened up as OGL for you to use.

Risky. Very risky.
I really, hugely, massively hope that this can be done with respect and care for the subject matter (the list of names involved gives me hope).
Good luck on this.
Although its probably already been mentioned in some of the replies above, the very concept reminds me of the infamous "Book of Erotic Fantasy". I do recall that that book actually did treat the subject with maturity (I particularly liked how they described how each Alignment would possibly treat sexual situations).
That being said, it was the first "Big" book to take on this subject, and it caused a bit of an uproar (made TSR change their 3rd Party Content policies; and as I recall some 'rumors' that one of the writers of the book was the head of his own 'cult' 0_0)
I'll probably pick it up when it comes out, but I doubt I will ever use any of its content for any game I run (but than I can say that for a LOT of the stuff I buy from Paizo itself [DAMN, but you make a lot of content!! ^_^)
