If we have an oracle who is hiding in a room with a very narrow entrance, and she needs to defend that entrance, what methods would people suggest? Currently I'm trying to think of something to line the floor of the entrance in to prevent intruders from being able to use stealth, so she would be alerted at least. She only has healing spells and no use magic device, so I'm actually looking for entirely mundane methods. She is going to be there for days, so it's not so simple as, for instance, aiming a crossbow the entire time.
I thought marbles might help too, though the reflex save is quite low.

Well m yfavorite is.. Chalk.
it's near impossible (non flying) to avoid getting it on you or stepping in it.
granted i doesn't auto alert, but really anyone using stealth will be able to beat any sorta "noise trap" they create if its not a spell.
If you have a robe of infinate twine and some glass or metal etc.
you can make a curtain of strings (from top to bottom, bottom is free flowing but nearly touching the ground-which is covered in chalk) tie anything that'll make noisem, jingles, metal on metal, glass etc.
So if they move it it'll probably make noise. Its still beatable but eh everything is

It doesn't help against stealth - but at low levels bear traps are pretty darned awesome to defend a narrow entrance. 2gp and on a hit they average 10 damage.
A mundane door with multiple bells near the top will probably work against stealth (like in a retail store) unless they have Silence and notice it... through the door.
So - a door, some bells, and a few hidden bear traps behind said door are my recommendation. Though covering the floor with flour or chalk will help beat any invisible foes (other than incorporeal... in which case they'll just come through the wall anyway).

Make the floor noisy
This is often called a Nightingale floor and used in Japan.
But this also tends to cost $$$ and require you to build/rebuild stuff which might be a problem if you are simply trying to protect your room at the inn.But having said that you could maybe install/buy/have squeaky rugs, loud hinges on the door or some other things to make noise.
