So we know that the AP after Irinfang will be an Azlant based one.
We know more info about Starfinder wich is detailed in it's own section.
We know about the Starfinder Bestiary.
Does anyone know what else was announced at the con?

Usually every year, this board is abuzz with Gen Con blogs, threads and news. This year? Almost nothing, it's like just another weekend. Hard to Con vicariously in this environment. Kind of depressing....
It's all on Twitter and s!@$. :-)
The site has links to Twitter and Facebook for the Con and nothing is mentioned other then what I have already wrote.
What is the next summer's Hardcover?
2.0?
I think yesterday means that convention attendees are tweeting and posting about news and experiences on those sites, rather than here. ^_^

Nothing announced (that I know of). There's speculation that the Starfinder launch will take the place of Pathfinder's hardcover for that Gen Con.
I guarantee it's not PF 2.0, though. Trust me - you would have heard about that by now. ^_^

I haven't looked at it too much, I was more letting DMChucky69 know that's where all the cosplay and general announcements are now.
The Paizo Blog is a bear to deal with remotely or something, so for ease they've been mostly keeping news on social media. :-)

I really dislike this social media crap. I can't stand Facebook or Twitter.
After how disappointed I was with Paizo Con's announcements this year I would hope that Gen Con wouldn't be a disappointment.

Eh, they provide a link to it, you don't have to sign on, and it's just like any other website.
Captain Yesterday fun fact: yesterday was the first time ever I've been to Facebook. First time ever. No, I did not make an account. :-)

They did say that it wouldn't interrupt Pathfinder but if Starfinder is replacing the Gen Con hardcover and the hardcover bestiary then technically it is interrupting Pathfinder. I hope this is not the case but the lack of news is not a good sign.

I'm not really sure we actually need three new Pathfinder rulebooks every year.

Too bad we are not getting a hardcover campaign setting book this year and maybe not next year as well.
I was hoping there would be more information about Pathfinder products.

I'm pretty sure the new Curse of the Crimson Throne hardcover and update is the campaign setting book slot for this year.

The statement is still true that we are not getting a hardcover campaign setting book, but instead a hardcover AP book.
Which is set in the pathfinder campaign setting :3
(Sorry, I couldn't resist. I feel bad now)
I find it hard to believe that all they talked about at Gen Con was Starfinder and AP related news. But it looks like there isn't anything else mentioned. You would think that that there would be some new info on other already mentioned products or some new campaign setting/player companion books.

Sleuth away good sir, but honestly, all that matters to me is Starfinder and the AP about the lost city of Atlanta (hopefully we'll find out what's living in the Coke bottling plant)
... that might actually be Starfinder as well.
Not to be an a*+*~@~, but I just scrolled through the Facebook and Twitter and didn't notice much going on there. Just games and a couple product releases. Did anything else happen?

I expect it this coming week, but definitely in august.

Joseph Wilson wrote: From Know Direction's Facebook: That's abit disappointing. First year since I started playing PF where none of the things Paizo announced at gencon interest me.
I knew all of this before Gen Con.
I guess they are really stretched thin developing Starfinder.
The only book that is scheduled for next year (which hasn't been mentioned) is the one with readymade encounters and maps for levels 1-20.

I will throw this in there. We have some books coming out in 2017 that we just weren't ready to announce at GenCon this year. Erik did a rather large change to the schedule only a few weeks before the convention and we are still figuring out how to get everything done while also launching Starfinder. We knew folks would be disappointed that there were no new announcements, especially about hardcover books, but there will be some. We just weren't ready to announce them yet and decided that, although a great venue for announcements, we weren't going to let GenCon dictate when we make our announcements. So the stuff that was ready to announce got announced. I am expecting the other stuff will get announced in the next few months as it gets firmed up.

Wow! Thank you for the information! ^_^
Also, I'm glad that quality is more important than rushing to meet Gen Con's schedule. I'd rather have a well-planned product schedule and announcement than something flawed by deadlines.
Great to hear, thanks for clearing that up (especially personally doing so).

Yes! The rumors of a pugwampi-stuffed and Cosmo-packed Ultimate Misfortune are true! Although to be honest, holding back from announcing it at Gen Con is just delaying the shock and horror. Best to just rip off the bandaid and pop those stitches now.

Well that explains a lot, thank you Lisa.
I don't think a book called "Ultimate Misfortune" would sell very well especially if it summoned Pugwampi;)

I heard something about an Azlant-based AP? Yeeeeeeees.
Also, that Pathfinder Worldscape crossover... Nex is alive?

1d1000-1 pugwampi summoned with each new book opened the first time!
Thank you for the updates, Lisa.

Was there any more details about the ironfang invasion Ap?

Hope we are finally getting his art! *---*
Nex and Geb are the two "humans" I have been waiting to see the most (Before all the deities and minor powers, of course).

"More information about Strange Aeons, the Curse of the Crimson Throne hardcover, and Ruins of Azlant to come as we get closer to their release dates!"
I think they forgot about Ironfang Invasion =S or had no major details about it to announce.
The 2017 Pathfinder RPG hardcover release is complete CHEESE, bloat, power creep, and anime and I am declaring right now that it is BANNED!
The only thing more BANNED than the 2017 gencon hardcover release is the 2021 gencon hardcover release!

Hey now, this is Pathfinder not 3.5e. It'd be Ultimate CHEESE, bloat, power creep, and anime.

Really? I thought the 'CHEESE, bloat, power creep, and anime' was the long awaited second part of the ACG AP.
