PFS-legal dinosaur animal companions

Pathfinder Society

I've been doing a search on PFS-legal dinosaur companions for the purpose of putting together a Saurian Shaman, but there seems to be a fair bit of conflicting opinions on the subject... anyone know where I can find an approved list?

You looked at additional resources?

Archives of nethys

Would be a good place to start, but i would double check it with the additional resources, there were some stealth extinctions a while ago

Alas, poor Spinosaurus, I knew thee well.

Some were recently added back in too. As ever for PFS additional resources is the only valid source to be certain of what is or is not legal, even if it is a pain to use at times.

Terry the Pteranodon is a great mount for size small Pathfinders. Tracy the Triceratops is fun to ride for mounted charges.

If you can't clear the blind condition, isn't it marked dead?

Actually, in Archives of Nethys' the legality of dinosaurs and megafauna is mismarked, I discovered (legal ones are marked not legal and not legal ones are marked legal, seemingly at random).

You will need to go through the Additional Resources.

If you find legality mistakes in the Archives of Nethys, I've found the site's owner Blake is very receptive to fan feedback and correcting any errors.

Andy the Ankylosaurus has been my Druid's tanky AC for a long while now. :D

Just hit level 7 and now he's bigger tanky AC. :)

People mat think that Steve the Stegosaurus is the "better" tanky AC... to each their own.

Step 1: browse Nethys/D20PFSRD for cool stuff.
Step 2: verify with Additional resources the stuff is really as legal as Nethys thinks it is (no more, no less).
Step 3: check for Clarifications that change it.
Step 4: acquire legal source.
Step 5: enjoy!

Be sure to mix "Check the FAQ" somewhere in there, too.
