"Stopping the rising of some mighty [thing]" is a venerable Paizo tradition going back to Savage Tide and Age of Worms, continuing through Rise of the Runelords, Carrion Crown, Iron Gods, and probably half a dozen other APs. On the one hand, that means they have the formula down to a T. On the other . . . again? At least Jade Regent was its own thing.

I hear what your saying. I've been hoping for a Kaiju soft cover at least to cover the ones not seen yet

Kaiju fighting can be played in several ways. Given some of the interpretations of them, they arise when some geological/environmental crisis occurs. So the adventure can focus on trying to stop that from happening, getting in touch with the spirit of the land and or trying to bring about some equilibrium to the land in a very Asian mysticism sort of way. I can see some cool adventures and stories coming out of that sorta backdrop before the PCs have to go toe to toe with MOTHRA! Maybe we can kill Gadzuki as a warm up. I always hated that jerk.
Having an AP set in Xa Hoi would be neat.
I'd like to see a booklet about the Tian Xian Gods and Faiths, like take the idea of "Inner Seas Gods" and "Inner Seas Faiths" and apply it to the Dragon Empire deities. Obediences, boons, portfolios, spells, items, actual depictions, name it.
There are 14 Tian Xian deities, including 6 Inner Seas deities that are also worshipped in Tian Xia; Inner Seas Faiths had 15 :P The thing is that these deities have slightly different portfolios, which they could go into details.
I hope there is a hardcover campaign setting book next year. So were did you hear this rumor J-Bone?

Does Pathfinder ever introduce a conquering planar or extra-terrestrial race/creature? Well, there are the Hive monsters, but they're more driven on instinct than on ideals; I'm talking about a race similar to the githyankis who are conquering worlds for their lich-queen.
On a sidenote, the Tian Xian deities could have some interesting alliances/vandettas with the Inner Seas deities. Okay, so Desna and Shelyn are worshipped, but what about Iomedae and Sarenrae? How are they percieved? Does Shizuru approve of their Western ideals? What about General Susumu and Gorum?
On another sidenote, come on, I think it's time to see HOW do the Tian Xian deities look like.
- The 6 Inner Seas deities might have oriental designs.
- Several exclusive deities have 2 forms. Susumu has a humanoid form and a dragon form, both of which could be depicted.

That wouldnt really be about Tian Xia then though - again.
Surely some Tian Xia is better than nothing, but if an AP on that scale i at least would prefer something that is really about Tian Xia, and not only in a small part.Because in that set-up a large part would go to the known Inner Sea, the second part to the planar/extraterrestrial threat and their origins (where it would most likely go to as well) and only a minor part to Tian Xia. Maybe something like some Inner Sea heroes are called in to help save poor Tian Xia because they have no heroes of their own and then you get a dungeon palace there which was invaded, you clean it out and move on to the origin of the thread, somewhere else.

I agree, a Dragon Empire Gods or a Dragon Empire Races would be appreciated. Even a Dragon Empire Classes with Tian Xian reflavouring of the classes or Tian Xia specific archetypes is something I hope will hapen someday

The best way to potentially nake a Dragon Empires Races book happen would be to purchase the Blood of Shadows and the (upcoming) Blood of the Beast player companion. Between the two, all but the samsarans are counted for. Showing the higher ups at Paizo that there is an audience for Tian Xia material is the best way to make it happen.

I may be misremembering this, but I seem to recall the recent episode of Know Direction that featured Eric Mona there was some hints dropped about more hardcovers yet to be announced for 2017. My assumption, if this is true, is that there will probably be a Campaign Setting Hardcover as they seem to be coming yearly now and none have been announced yet for 2017. So... if I am right, maybe, just maybe, we can get Tian Xia FINALLY!

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much about based on other remarks. Additional hardcovers could mean anything, and I would guess we will get a Planes or Darklands book long before Tian Xia.
