My sister and my cousin have a very cool art shop/coffee house/inn starting up. If you find yourself in Cape Breton , you could do worse than staying there (or getting a coffee. They do the fancy stuff you can't get most places around here )

As for takoyaki ... I had thought we were going to the poutine restaurant so that is what I informed my ladybro was the plan. She was super enthused, as she confessed a deep love for poutine. Now, I don't know if she has a similar love for takoyaki, but I'd hate to disappoint her with a change of plans.
As for NYC, I'm thinking thusly:
Sunday:
Arrive
Wander about-maybe hit museum
Hit poutine restaurant and Burton bar
Monday:
Play tourist (IDK what y'all's work schedule is like, but we'd love company)
Temple of Dog show at MSG
Tuesday: Retreat to New England
I feared that was the case. I am probably out of commission on the 6th. Don't know for sure yet.

The dog badgered me into taking him out before 7 am today, and am I glad he did! The air is mountain-crisp with a spicy tang of autumn and the light is that clear, pale, rose-touched just-after-dawn glow. It's 45F, cool enough to be pleasant but not cold enough to don long pants or a sweater. This is the perfect morning. Perfect.

It's gonna get down to 78 here today, which is just right.
To be fair, it was 90 here yesterday, and 92 the day before, and I loved them both.

How's Colorado's restaurants?
I imagine just as good as New York, Aspen isn't that far from Denver.
It might get kind of barren outside the Rockies and Denver area, I'm not sure how Colorado Springs is.
Boulder's a college town so they gotta have some decent food and gastropubs.

Triggered the ME3 Citadel DLC for the first time tonight. It's a blast. I picked Wrex for the formal event because I had to see how Krogan black tie looks.
