Diplomat familiar for PFS - Opinions Please

Advice

In our local, we often have tables with absolutely no one with even the slightest capability for interpersonal relations.
I will be starting a new character soon. However I have no space in the build for a high charisma as well as ranks in diplomacy, bluff, sense motive, linguistics, knowledges, etc... However, the build concept does include a familiar and has room for the improved familiar feat.

So I've been considering having the familiar be the face character if there isn't a PC to do it. Obviously it wouldn't be as good as a PC built for this, so won't be stealing anyone else's thunder or spotlight time. So if someone brings a face PC, it would just act like a more normal familiar. If there is no face PC, the familiar would handle the duties.

Seem reasonable?

The ones I'm currently looking at are:

Azata, Lyrakien:

This tiny woman has a lithe form with delicate butterfly wings. She is surrounded by sparkling lights and gentle rainbow arcs.
Cha 20
Skills Acrobatics +10, Bluff +11, Diplomacy +11, Fly +16, Knowledge (any one) +8, Perception +9, Perform (any one) +11, Spellcraft +5, Stealth +18
Languages Celestial, Draconic, Infernal; truespeech
SQ traveler’s friend

Oni, Spirit Oni:

This evil-looking animated mask shows the face of a horned fiend, its eyes popping and its leering smile full of fangs.
...
Cha 15
Skills Acrobatics +7, Bluff +8, Fly +16, Knowledge (arcana) +7, Perception +7, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +4, Stealth +17
Languages Common
SQ mask symbiosis

Dragon, Faerie:

A pair of brightly colored butterfly wings sprouts from the back of this miniature dragon.
Cha 16
Skills Acrobatics +8 (+0 when jumping), Bluff +9, Diplomacy +9, Fly +23, Perception +8, Sense Motive +8, Stealth +17, Swim +13, Use Magic Device +9
Languages Common, Draconic, Elven, Sylvan; telepathy 100 ft.

Sprite, Liminal:

This creature resembles an elven courtier in miniature, dressed in the latest fashion and mothlike wings on its back.
Cha 15
Skills Diplomacy +8, Escape Artist +9, Fly +17, Knowledge (local) +8, Perception +7, Perform (comedy) +8, Sense Motive +7, Stealth +17
Languages Elven, Common, Sylvan
SQ versatile performance
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Repartee (Su)
Three times per day, when a liminal sprite successfully aids another creature's Charisma-based skill check, the creature gains a +2d4 bonus on the skill check instead of the normal +2 bonus. A creature can receive this bonus from only one liminal sprite per skill check.

Rakshasa, Raktavarna:

What at first appears to be a bejeweled blade shimmers and writhes, transforming into a hideous, red-eyed serpent.
Cha 14
Skills Bluff +12, Climb +9, Disguise +16, Escape Artist +6, Perception +9, Sense Motive +9, Stealth +17, Swim +6; Racial Modifiers +4 Bluff, +8 Disguise
Languages Common, Infernal, Undercommon; comprehend languages
SQ change shape (Tiny living object), master's eyes

Opinions on these or other possibilities?

What about archtypes or other options for the familiar?
Been considering valet (if I can free up some space for 1 or 2 teamwork feat), figment, emissary, mascot, or sage archtypes.

You could take a Thrush or Raven with the Figment archetype. They'd need some buffing, but you can have the Skilled evolution at level 3.
And you'd save yourself a feat.

Ha!
That's exactly what I was planning to do up until I can take improved familiar.

I like the idea of the liminal sprite, if it fits with your character. You said you wanted a familiar that could take the reins if needed, but let others shine if someone else were available - the sprite's got high enough skills to handle it, but if someone else is there, you can give them even more of a chance to shine by using the familiar's Repartee with them. Seems best of both worlds.

I forgot:

Pooka:

This creature combines the features of a sprightly girl and a black rabbit. A wicked, whimsical grin gleams on her face.
Cha 13
Skills Bluff +8, Diplomacy +8, Fly +18, Perception +8, Sense Motive +6, Stealth +18, Use Magic Device +6
Languages Common, Sylvan; telepathy (by touch only)
SQ change shape (2 of the following forms: cat, goat , rabbit [use stats for raccoon], or raven; polymorph)

But yes, I think I might be leaning toward the liminal sprite or possibly the faerie dragon.

Maybe this is just me, but if I was another player, I wouldn't want another characters pet to be talking for the group, even if it had the best diplomacy score.

I love the little fairy women idea with a nice diplomacy mod, though it doesn't appear to speak common...?

Azata have truespeech. Basically an always on Tongues. My witch has one with a tiny bow, a tiny heavy pick, and wands.

@ElterAgo. If you're playing an Int based caster, having Diplomacy/Bluff/Sense Motive on your Int boosting item is an option (again, my witch does this)

So you want something that most NPC's won't even consider to be a person to be your party Face?

Do you have access to all those familiar options?

The Faerie Dragon is not PFS legal by default. It is available via a certain boon.

It doesn't need to, it has truespeech.

Guaranteed, I will never even suggest another player/PC not do the talking if they wish. But we've had several sessions where my barb with a zero was the best face character. Everyone was sitting there waiting for someone else to do the talking.

It should be unique and good for a laugh if nothing else.

If I chose the liminal sprite I would have to pick up that bestiary, but otherwise yes.

If I chose that familiar, I will just GM that scenario. Not a Problem.

I use a sage Azata, Lyrakien for this and she is awesome. Take extra item slot for a headband of vast int with a focus in diplomacy and put the rest of the skill points into knowledges. You got a pocket bard.

I grab a wand key ring for some umd for one spell (ill omen). Though you can pick any spell or none.

You can also grab figment at level 7 you can take skilled twice for +8 to 2 skills. Diplomacy and bluff or UMD.

Ignore the figment thing I was wrong

Silver Crusade

Your local group needs some charisma based characters. Nobody around there plays sorcerers, bards, or paladins? Or clerics who do even the slightest channeling? I find that pretty shocking.

As for the familiars, I have nothing to add that hasn't already been said. Given the choice of raven or thrush at low levels, remember that the thrush gives you a +3 diplomacy to your PC, so you might be able to do the talking as yourself, not just the familiar.
