I am going with a Half-Orc Elemental Annihilator Pyrokineticist. I feel like I didn't go the most creative route (I was originally going to go with a Half-Orc Psychic of the pain discipline but I have been waiting forever to make a kineticist, plus the idea of a fire-bending half-orc was really cool (and the favored race option supports that).
I do really like the medium archetype involving kami. I may roll one of those someday.
And I have this character idea: a spiritualist with a phantom with the fear focus. Basically the idea is the spiritualist is the phantoms mother and the phantom is her baby that was snatched from its crib and died. Now it haunts her and she lives a solemn yet content life.
Anyways what Occult characters will be joining the Pathfinder Society?

I've already started developing an Occultist who starts out emphasizing Divination and Necromancy and has a bit of a flip John Constantine thing going on (but maybe I can sort out something a little more distinct), and an Abomination Psychic who's kind of "the Phantom of the Opera meets Freakazoid! Villain Candle-Jack." I've considered both Kineticist and Medium as a third, but I'm more than a bit disappointed with how they appear to have turned out, at least so far. I find the Kineticist to be an uninspired reductio ad absurdem of the 3.5 Warlock, and considering how much I adored Tome of Magic Pact Magic, the Medium is a HUGE step down from that with a really bad case of Genericitis.

Senpai the Promethean Alchemist and his yandere homunculus will be starting things off soon.
Shaki the Kami Medium looks forward to fighting for (her version of) justice with her samurai father's wakizashi.
Roy Stallion the Pyrokineticist is preparing to burn everyone with fiery finger snaps.
Evard Jormurson chucks rocks where he pleases.
Then there were more still that exist only as vague concepts.

Routamaa |

Cult Leader Mesmerist Halfling, from nice little out of the way Halfling town that is in middle of a swamp. Though he seems little bit "wrong", might be those little bulging eyes he has and smell of fish and brine always surrounding him.
Oread Kinetisit, short tempered guy, like dormant volcano but under the surface fire burns.
"Damn you work day! You take me away from my books."
And I just yesterday I got my hands on Occult Adventures book from LFGS. and then I was distracted by cutest kitten with polydactylia and fluffy fur.
Gah!!! I couldn't concentrate when he jumped on my chest and said with her little voice, "Meep"
Multiple times I say, Multiple!!
That little fur ball will be the end of me and my reign of Terror, in a loving way =)

Made a Faith Discipline Psychic of Pharasma with GM credit (level 5). Spell Focus and G. Spell Focus in divination and focus on getting information. That and Mind Thrust because it is a divination damage spell. :)
I am super, ultra tempted by an Aquakineticist with the healer archetype, getting air as secondary and focus on healing and buffs.
Also, psychic spellcasters should really think about a Metamagic Rod of Logical Spell or a way to get rid of fear. Your emotion component can be completely shut down by a Frightful Aura or Intimidate to Demoralize, making you unable to cast any spell with an emotion component (which replaces the somatic component).

Tiny Coffee Golem |

Telekinetic rogue (Max 1 or 2 actual rogue levels, otherwise just a playstyle comment). Looks completely mundane and unarmed. Even after he starts throwing badguys at other badguys without actually moving or speaking.
Seriously if there ever was a character that needed zero gear a Telikineticist is it.

Arvaldo the Puppetteer |

Both of the characters I have in my mind are kineticists, originally built under the playtest rules.
Well, I've just updated Arvaldo the puppeteer from playtest to actual. I'm pleased with how it worked out. (Stats in the profile) Because he's high charisma, I did consider going Overwhelming Soul to become a TAD less MAD. But I like the tradeoffs that come with burn, especially with force ward.
I also have a Valara monk 1/Kineticist 9(air, water). He channels the storm. It's a game with inherent bonuses, so he's quite useful.

I'm working on an undine waterbender for a skull & shackles campaign, but I'm not really feeling it so far. opting for high DEX and WIS, dumping STR and will go with an agile amulet of mighty fists.
herolab doesn't appear to be updated with the official book yet, I'm having some difficulty getting everything registered and showing up. my kinetic fist form infusion isn't listed on my unarmed strike, etc.
it's entirely possible I'm missing something here (I didn't participate in the playtest), but it looks like I can essentially use kinetic blast and kinetic fist at well, as they are both 0 burn?
kinetic cover seems to allow an AC boost, but it's a standard action? I was hoping for an immediate type version of this, with a burn requirement or something. someone's shooting at you? instant wall to hide behind.
I'm still fleshing out the character, would appreciate advice or recommendations.

I plan on upgrading all my new pyro abilities to be a proper level 7 kineticist. Elemental Overflow (size bonus to stats are awesome btw) and Fire's Fury brought a significant increase to my fire blast damage. Settling on Expanded Element (Air) because PFS throws too many random devils (which Mark has confirmed are things that will perma-screw over a pyro who doesn't branch out because they're fire-immune and not having a fire subtype) and magic immune creatures like golems at players. Air can get at least get me at-will haste and a really nice extreme range almost-dimension door ability via at-will ride the blast.
I hope to play through the seeker arc and train up a new kineticist apprentice. Maybe a telekinenticist with kinetic healer.

jedi8187 |
An Occultist who turns over treasure an such from adventures, keeping only enough to keep funding his life style and a few odds and ends that one else understands.
A dashing rogue like Spiritualist saddled with the jealous spirit of a noble woman who has fallen in love (become obsessively possessive of) him.

Azouth |

I'm thinking about making my Halfing Roc-rider (just hit 3xp) into a Kami Medium with a Mauler Hawk.
Flying around on a giant paper airplane at level 3. Unfortunately, I have to stop at Medium 4 because the upgrade at 5 prevents Mauler. :(
What do you mean?

Kami Mediums get Improved Familiar automatically at level 5. Improved Familiars cannot take the Mauler archetype.

After all the work I did playtesting mediums, I almost feel obligated to figure out how to enjoy the new version. I'm putting together a halfling medium and it seems like he should be fine. We'll have to see how it goes. Spirit availability worries me a bit in PFS, but it should be a better environment for seeing how the class's flexibility works out since you never know which niche you're going to be missing...

I will continue to play Harry Dresden, of course. Playtest allowed me to get Molly as a vanity, and it's a hoot to put three minis on the board for my intros. Some odd looks at first, until people start realizing what's going on and have my business cards in hand.
ohh... do tell me more, you have peaked my interest!

I'm really wanting a Relic Channeler Medium who is haunted by the dead members of a Pathfinder team that turned on each other due to a dark artifact they were working with. Ideally he's a hireling or other "NPC" who is the only survivor of the incident, now a field agent due to their collective skills rolling around in his head.
I'm going to wait until Occult Origins comes out, though, just to see if we get some Harrow Medium content back in. Or a way to get Trapfinding on Trickster.
Otherwise, figuring out a Ghost Rider Cavalier. I'm just hoping to get a ruling on how the base phantom stats work for a wolf mount (Current base stats are clearly horse). The idea of a scary halfling on a ghost wolf scurrying around in combat is a great visual.
Otherwise, I'm incorporating Psychic Sensitivity into the Cartomancer Witch I'm already playing who will be going Harrower.

I just finished building a Battle Host Occultist whose Panoply Bond is to a Glaive-guisarme. Half-elf for the elven FCB, of course.
He's a collector of antique arms and armor. As he continued to outlive everyone he cared about, he eventually stopped caring for others so much and began living for the ancient past and its artifacts. Those short lived humans do leave a lot of great items around, and there's always a market for newly found arms. And, man, those Pathfinders do find lots of cool stuff on their adventures!
Maxing out Appraise and Knowledges, and will shortly take the Qadira vanity that lets him use Appraise for day jobs. I was boosting Appraise anyway to offset the limit on Object Reading that Battle Host imposes, and in line with his back story. (That class feature is limited by the archetype to being usable on weapons, armor and shields only.) With a decent Appraise, he can use the Psychometry skill unlock to do the same kind of reading once per day on any item.
He took Transmutation and Abjuration implements.
I did have a tough time deciding what I wanted to build as there were so many interesting choices.

Well, the character will never get out of level 2 because I don't have enough scenarios left to actually play them in, but apparently I am now making a grippli psychic because the thought of a psionic frog amuses me way too much for me to let it get away.
Tempted by the psychedelia discipline because of the associated imagery, despite implications. Also was briefly amused by a Hypnotoad concept, but figured that was a bit too stupid even for me.

Using some saved up GM credit to make a Swashbuckler/Spiritualist (Ectoplasmatist)
Basically a psychic magus with a freaky slime whip. Or Omega Red if I can figure out a way to effectively dual wield the Ecto Lashes. I'm using Two World Magic to get Touch of Fatigue as a Knack, but otherwise it looks like Chill Touch is going to be my bread and butter.

I am thinking of a Spiritualist that uses his phantom as a flanking buddy to scare people into frightened with cornugon smash.
Or an Occultist that's focused on conjuration, that standard action summon is sweeet.
Or a Psychic monk of Korada that uses magic to calm people and read their thoughts..
Or.. this book is awesome!

Artemis Moonstar |

Not for PFS, but here's some that came to mind recently for some home games. I think only 1 would work for PFS? (#3)
1) Shabti Spiritualist who's phantom is the man he was modeled after. He seeks to take the place of the original, and claim that the phantom is the spirit of the shabti he had made.
2)Kuru blood kineticist who stole the secrets of the blood arts from his Blood Queen.
3) Child-like pass for human halfling mesmerist with a VERY creepy stare.
4) Dwarven psychic duelist who specializes in taking the biggest baddest thing on the battlefield into a mindscape while the battle rages on around him.

I have two.
Konrad Fauner Posen is a mighty paladin-esque warrior from Lastwall who wears the armor his family has passed down for centuries, all the way back to the Shining Crusade and its first owner, Fauner Konrad Posen. He is currently in his sixties, but he is as dedicated to the cause of righteousness as ever, and insists upon always being the first one into combat.
He is also largely based on Reinhardt from Overwatch, built as an occultist (battle host) so he can have appropriate group-protection abilities. Several of my friends have made other characters from the game as well.
Kiku Caritas is an unfailingly good seventeen-year-old young half-Varisian, half-Tian-Min woman born in Magnimar who has dedicated her entire life to the service of the Empyreal Lords, primarily Ashava. Kiku makes her living going and performing "sendings" for the dead, attempting to guide restless, lost spirits of the dead to the Boneyars. She uses the society as a method to journey to all of the various shrines of the Empyreal Lords across Golarion, to learn how to combat Sin (magic), and to have money to pay the phantom she summoned to assist her (who insists upon being paid for even the smallest task). As she travels, she occasionally stops to whistle, hoping that someone she loved a great deal will hear it and return to her as he promised.
She is basically Yuna from FFX built as an onmyoji spiritualist. Her phantom is Yojimbo.

Once she retires, you should remake her fresh as a Medium/Gunslinger. Just sayin' =D.

I'm building a Kitsune Pyrokineticist.... for a pirate campaign. Sounds like a terrible idea doesn't it? I'm going to just treat him like a power user from the manga One Piece because they are all pirates who lose their powers when they fall into the water.
Statting up the character has been kind of painful since he doesn't get a racial Con bonus, and I dislike the archetype that makes kineticists Charisma based.

Ratfolk Amnesiac Psychic. Self-preservation Discipline because it has like the absolute best bonus spells. And Wis to AC is not half bad. I got 19 AC at level 2 with mage armor!
Amnesiac spells have been way cooler than anticipated! Feels like a wizard with arcane bond, but the randomness is quite neat.
Also, the class itself built the RP parts of the character. I can't even remember why I'm a Pathfinder!
