Regardless, it doesn't look like I'll be playing Pathfinder for a while.
Decided to drop Kingmaker, for...reasons I'd rather not get into. I think that AP is cursed for me, and I will not be attempting a fourth run.
The guy who took over as GM (as I greatly prefer to be a player) overall dislikes Pathfinder, so we're switching up, most likely to Savage Worlds.

Going back to Tea….. I do love me some (bottled) Tazo Black Iced Tea, especially during the hot summer months. Nothing beats bottled brewed iced tea (mildly sweet) on a hot day. The Tazo iced teas are only semi-sweet, so I like it.
I dislike the ultra-sweet "Southern Sweet Tea" types.
Yes, I also drink hot tea, but no clear favorite. I tend to like strong black chai teas over green. British chamomille and earl grey is also good.

Actually, I have gotten all positive comments today, including my female boss saying I looked sexy, which was awkward but positively affirming.
Also, my annoying grognard player left, so that's a plus as well. I didn't need his drama. Dude got offended and was incapable of having a conversation where people disagree with him without taking it personal.
My not-annoying grognard player is the new GM. He's incredibly easy going. I actually look forward to the new game.
Thanks for the throwback reference, though. That sheet cake joke still gets me.

Nice :-)
Glad it's working out :-)
My daughter is in the whole selfish, what have you gotten for me lately phase, with a touch of you're not the boss of me, I f&**ing hate it:-(
So last night I put all campaigns on hiatus until she starts to listen to her parents and thinks of someone else other than herself, I expect it to be awhile:-(
It's notice were ducks either, just want her to read more, take her dog out to piss every now and then, and not be so possessive of possessions.
I told her if she wants to play pathfinder she can read the beginner's box books and GM herself (which I've been trying to do politely for years now *sigh* thanks for letting me vent, it's been a mentally exhausting week:-(

I'm far too harsh.
I would be like "I'm not your boss? I own EVERYTHING you think is yours. Don't believe me? Let's videotape me throwing everything you own in the garbage and setting it on fire, send it to a lawyer, and see if I'm allowed legally to do that."
True story, my dad tossed my Nintendo down a flight of stairs when I kept ignoring his commands to put the wires away for about a month straight.
When I got a Super Nintendo, I put everything away on time without being asked.

normally i would just let it go and move on, but today, today i could use a good ole fashioned throw down:-)
Never mind, the mods went thru (as they should've:-D) i'll always have the memories tho, so there's that:-D

I might actually cave on the gaming, i was gonna say, then as i was beginning to type to crappy 'tude comes out, picking nits with Tiny T-Rex, the problem is, i do it more for myself then her, i just want to play! but my brothers don't invite me, my friends were all established during my 17 years away so most laugh when i ask if they want to play, maybe i'll look into PFS around here, we'll see:-)
Edit: Yeesh! never mind the closest PFS is Janesville, i don't even drive to Janesville to visit my brother, of course that's for reasons other then distance:-D

T-Minus ten hours and fifteen minutes (and a few seconds) until I have been married for seven years.
T-Minus zero until it has been seven years since I had the roughest, most anxiety filled sleep of my life. I still couldn't believe she said yes, even after she did.
We celebrated today, and she told me to keep my regularly scheduled Pathfinder game going tomorrow, and she actually meant it without playing stupid, "well, yeah I said that, but you should have realized," stereotype games. That's why I put a ring on that.
That and the body.
I said this in another thread, but it bears repeating - the body.
Congratulations! Woo!

Lipton cold brew is just sad...
I... I must agree... :(
EDIT:
Haven't popped in here in a while. It isn't fair - TL has been missing all summer and has an entire page of updates on his thread. Oh well.
Hey, you had, like, eighty posts here since I read this thread!
Also, it's been, like... one month!
EDIT:
Aha!
Tacticslion is back! I've already begun my alias Blitzkrieg Oh ho
We shall hope it sticks this time, ne?

It's our Wedding Anniversary today, 14 years :-)

captain yesterday wrote:I didn't really need to spoiler that I guess, it's not a huge spoiler, to be honest I didn't realize this was the tea thread, sorry:-)... you headed me off at the pass!
Head's up, puns incoming.
Oh, wait, you're already ahead of me.
But you shouldn't be, since I'm the head of this thread!
I suppose since I never played the AP the joke went over my head.
Still, with your assistance I'm heading towards figuring it out.
Who am I kidding? I totally get it now. It's not like it was a heady joke.

See, raise your head with pride, Lord knows I wish I could.
I'm tellin' ya, riiiiiight through heerrree... but, uh, could you hurry it up a bit? This totally legit, entirely mundane hole in the ground will only last for *checks waterclock, does calculations* uh eighteen more seconds...

SweetTeaGamer |

Just got here. My apologies Gtg, and especially to you, Beernorg. Life kinda crushed my internet time.
That said, in my defense, I did say that I wouldn't necessarily be one you could or should count on... >.> sorry

Someday perhaps Tea Leaves and Sword blades will happen, but RL is guaranteed to happen, and get in the way, no worries all, I myself was not as free to work on that PbP as I had hoped. And now with RPGSS season (need allot of cold tea to get through it!) a full time job, a 3pp to run, a wife, a house, etc...I have like negative free time anyway.

I was watching Masterchef tonight (ow! Who threw that? Wait, is someone laughing at me from the back?) And it's the vegetarian challenge, of course they have a big ass group of sycophantic vegetarians on there eating the food, and like everyone was all like "it's so good and earthy"
Why is earthy a good thing? Do people really want their food to taste like dirt and manure?
Also not trying to bag on vegetarians, just curious :-)

The Green Tea Gamer |

Nah. Well, maybe a coffee might have an earthy flavor.
On another note, I have hereby decided it is my new policy as a player to ALWAYS, 100% of the time answer any GM who asks "are you sure" with "absolutely I am!"
Not only is it proper roleplaying, as in real life time doesn't stop and rewind when you do something idiodic, it's a guarantee of a great story, and probably an awesome session...and isn't that why we play? To get a good interactive story, not "to win"!
