Hammerfall starting to come online - what is needed

Pathfinder Online

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Members of the Hammerfall settlement are going to be logging in and starting their characters this weekend, so to best serve the community we did want to know what was needed the most as crafters so we could concentrate on filling the voids.

So we are looking to know what is most needed.

Thanks

Swiss

I think one answer is "Dedicated crafters/refiners" - Characters that are not splitting their exp across different areas but instead focusing strictly on one skill.

We need your permission to continue occupying your Settlement with our grubby crafting activities :-).

Which skills would be needed?
No problem with the occupation either as long as the AH is nicely stocked ;)

I think the question of which craft skills are underrepresented is a regional issue right now. Map-wide trade doesn't seem to have developed enough to answer that question for the whole game yet.

Welcome
To the game :)

It is good to see ya'll coming online! I've made several sweeps through there in my travels from Keeper's Pass. I think with Blackwood Glade also booting up, it might be time for the Everbloom Alliance to hold a meeting for some alliance wide trade discussions. If you guys need anything starting up, give us a shout up on the mountain and will do what we can.

Silver Crusade

we can welcome you next

A dedicated, pure one of the following:

Apothecary
Sawyer
Smelter
Tanner
Weaver
Sage
Gemcutter
Armorsmith
Weaponsmith
Bowyer
Leather Worker
Archanist

Two dedicated armorsmiths is a good idea. T2 armor takes Days to make.

A dedicated Iconographer is also essential for some implement , spell charges (not implements, now, but when it is, will be needed) and symbols. As things develop, engineers may also be vital.

An Arcanist is not a craft or skill, but where Sage and Dowser train, and Sage refines. Bring me your orders and the recipes to achieve them (I am looking (not very hard for all +1) all +3. THere are 4 refined crystal, Azure, Crimson, Golden, and Sepia. I can deliver in raw resources or refined crystal.

Arcanist is Sage, silly.

I would say that dedicated Apothecary, Tanner, and Bowyer would be most welcome; Phaeros has dedicated crafters in the rest, and is more than willing to help.

Good to see Hammerfall becoming active. The Emerald Lodge uses it for crafts we don't have in our settlement. Our dedicated apothecary should be in Hammerfall.

Could someone enlighten me about the raid that I saw on You-Tube. Feel free to do that via PM as I don't want to derail this thread. But I like to know what is brewing and going on as I didn't understand the selection of target if it was mainly inactive so far.

I vote for an Apothecary as I need someone to take all the herbs I getting.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Gives me a start I was thinking of doing a Tanner and I can do Apothecary with my DT.
Will be on a bit later tonight probably in about an hour.

<waves>. I'm still in one of the starter towns but assuming hubby keeps his promise and makes his characters tomorrow, we'll be making our way out to Hammerfall.

Deianira's picking up dowser and sage for the Personality boost. My DT will be a crafter, and I'm good with her picking up whatever's needed although I was looking at apothecary. She's a much less... ah, let's say strong character than Deianira.

Seek me in game, sir.

The more direct effect might be that we regularly empty out the AH. Which might encourage others to come and stock it...

I'll buy those off of you and see that they get to good, well chemicalled hands.

Thanks for the recipes Ziggumesh, Tanner 2 in the house now, but also Fighter 5/Cleric 2.
Should be Tanner 3 in about 20 hours.

I'm running Kero as a dedicated Apothecary (currently Lvl 5, and is going to keep specializing in Apothecary as much as possible). I am part of TEO and am currently based out of Keeper's Pass. While TEO orders will take precedence, I'm perfectly willing to do any other needed Apothecary refining on the side. My recipes never take longer than a few minutes to craft per batch, and I have pretty much any recipe for my level available. I'm usually on for a few hours or more immediately after server downtime, and often also for some time around midnight EST.

If you'd like my services, contact me via the TEO mumble server, in game (other alts are Shroom (a dedicated Forester), Bubbles (a dedicated Alchemist), Darkleaf and Ironfeather), or even via pm or post on this forum.

We do have a dedicated apothecary in Hammerfall - contact Abathon if you see him in town. Might be his alt though.

He can do:
Weak Varnish +1,+2 and +3
Ink +2
Various other bits

Still have to give him ink+1 and ink+3 recipes.

Production for Emerald Lodge will take priority - but I doubt we can keep his queue full - so I send him a message and ecouraged to take on orders from other groups - for a small fee or some crafting / refining of other goods in return.

He is on a non-US/non European timezone - so you might not see him all the time.

Thank you very much, Thod. That would be extremely convenient being in Hammerfall.

As yet, we've not had a pressing need for higher level Apothecary mats than we can produce ourselves, but we expect that will change once folks start hitting Tier 2.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Alright, going to switch to Sage then as it seems there are enough Apothecaries in town ;)

Grand Lodge Goblin Squad Member

Theodum is a Sage 5 - but he works in Emerald Lodge.

I have need of a good tanner - will drop by later today

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

My Tanner is only 2 at the moment, he is not dedicated so I kind of ran out of xp, but my next few days xp is going to be to get him up at least to 5.
My DT is Wizard based, so was looking more for the INT based professions, any suggestions?

You don't have Gemcutters in Wizard settlements.

About a tanner 2 - that is sad. I have a recipe for a tanner 3. Thod is a tanner 3 himself but I regarded that as emergency tanner. So I didn't want to get him
Up any further.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

I should be Tanner 3 tonight, I was about 1000xp short last night.
Will not be on until a bit later, Sundays is family.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Tanner 3 now, going for 4, all I need is the pelts, so later on tonight going to be out hunting and digging.
Any good tips?

Emerald Lodge has a top notch weaver that can be present around 19:30 - 20:00 GMT nearly every day to take orders. PM to make an appointment. Very afordable rates :-)

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Well I was thinking one of the following for my DT:
Jeweller
Engineer
Alchemist
Artificier

Most for the INT.

Be wary of that, until someone discover where we can find a good quantity of RAW decorative gems, making the recipes needed to train the new levels is a pita.

So far 1 out of 10 of the gems I have found is a decorative gems, the others are semi precious ones.

Almost all the low level jeweler recipes require decorative gems, so getting the achievements to increase the skill is time consuming.
I have more than 26,000 xp ready to be spent for my dedicated jeweler but I am missing the achievement for the next level of the skill.

It was great to meet up yesterday and use the service.

Looking forward to do more business with you.

@Diego,

Forgeholm has a stockpile of Tier1 gems (and soon Tier 2). We open for trade discussions. :)

Goblin Squad Member

Hey, Sorry for the no post, My Apothecary is Morgrym Drogunson and I leave him parked in Hammerfall. Currently advanced to lvl 5, however I should be 6 as soon as I log in today. If you need anything from me, let me know by PM or let Thod know and he can get in contact with me. I am in an oceanic time zone, so i'm usually on when its the morning for everyone else...

Goblin Squad Member

OK
I am now Tanner 4 and my DT is an Alchemist, so I might need your services for her.

Grand Lodge Goblin Squad Member

/w Abathan - he was online shortly ago

Thanks, but I am unable to connect now, lunch hour over ;)
