Chris Evans definitely wants out. RDJ seems to be okay with showing up, but only if you drive truckloads of money to his doorstep. Scarjo is actually getting a movie in Phase 4, so she seems likely to stick around
Hemsworth and Ruffalo seem to be open to future outings. No clue on anyone else, although I expect phase 4 will mostly focus on newer characters anyway

So he'll probably sacrifice himself in 4.

Re:ryric's thery.
Does make me wonder HOW they would have lost. Gauntlet off, Mantis has Thanos dizzy so Drax could have put a knife in the jugular.

I think Tony and Cap are both in the long term going to be out of the MCU by close of Avengers 4. Maybe death, maybe something else (I heard at least one speculation that, since 4 is likely to involve Time Travel, Cap might go back in time to be with Peggy, although that has all sort of ramifications that makes my head hurt).

Very much agreed with Mrs. Ryric.
Guys, when talking about who's alive/dead or who is going to be, I think it would be nice to leave things in spoilers for another few days at least. Some of these posts basically confirm certain things they shouldn't.
I really have no idea what's gonna be in store for 4 except that...
One thing I kind of liked about how this movie panned out is that it raised the stakes high enough it's hard to guess exactly what's coming, and in a world where rampant spoilage and speculation has often effectively ruined films for some of its audience, that's a good thing. I realize by saying this I'm not going to stop the speculation, and of course I have my own games I want to play with it... just trying to amicably caution about where to set the bar.

"Oh great news! My nephew just had a baby daughter, Sharon. Would you like to go see her? Steve? What's that look on your face for?"
Also, he has to be willing to share Peggy with Dottie.

If he did so under an assumed name, and died prior to his resurrection, the only difference it would make is she doesn't marry Daniel Souza.
Though that brings up a good point. Peggy's brother died in WWII, prior to Peggy joining the SSR. Unless he married and got his wife pregnant before he left for the war, I'm a bit baffled at how Peggy has a niece.

Thanks. I navigate the boards weird so I didn't see that.
Re: her brother -- a, there's no reason he couldn't have had a kid during the war, and b, interviews have said the 3rd season of Agent Carter would have dealt with her brother more. It's very possible the "M. Carter" file that Jack found to (unsuccessfully) blackmail Peggy with was on Michael Carter, not Margaret, and could even indicate he is still alive (the Carter family got notice, but we never saw a body, and this is Marvel).
Cap going back in time could change everything. With him alive--while there still would be a push to try to make more super soldiers, the efforts would be lessened or different, which means a lot of superhero or villain making projects don't happen. The SSR was in danger of being shut down as an obsolete wartime project as it was, and Steve might have encouraged that happening because he hates how shady spy organizations are. And that means it's much less likely SHIELD is founded, especially since Cap is around to save the day. No SHIELD, lots of other stuff may not happen--and HYDRA infiltrates somewhere else (perhaps much more effectively that they can act much sooner than 2014)--no Pyms becoming heroes, no Avengers Initiative, etc. etc. etc. And if Howard needs saving, he may ask Cap to help, not Peggy, and Peggy's stuck slinging coffee for the rest of her job (and perhaps leaves everything, dissatisfied, and becomes a vigilante or something, with or without Steve's support). I'm not saying any of this is certain, but I am just trying to illustrate that his going back would not have a minimal effect on the timeline.
