Favorite Bloodline

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Just a little opinion poll. What is your favorite legal bloodline? I mainly mean for sorcerer, but if you mean bloodrager please say so. Personally I have a thing for serpentine, but I am not sure why.

Edit: Nearly forgot to mention, by favorite I do not necessarily mean best.

Scarab Sages

The Martyr, the merrier, nyuk nyuk nyuk!

I wouldn't say it's actually my favorite Bloodline, but it's what my Sorcerer happens to have, and it's certainly good. Otherwise, Aberrant, Impossible, Starsoul, and Undead all appeal to me.

Silver Crusade

My favorite character in PFS is still my first, Sheliantha. Human, arcane bloodline, with a Lyrakien Azata improved familiar. Arcane bloodline is all about metamagic, and I went all in.

Sovereign Court

I like the idea of Starsoul/Void-Touched, but the mechanics don't appeal to me. The Rakshasa bloodline can be fun, particularly when combined with a Tiefling's alternate skill bonus for a massive Bluff score.

Personally I'd go with Fey, I really want the ninetailed bloodline from the Kitsune companion (3rd party material) but since I can't pick that I'm going with fey as it has some associations with Kitsune.

For sorcerer its a toss up between Draconic(classic) and Fey(super fun). Bloodrager its aberrant all the way.

I have a huge weakness for the Nanite bloodline. Out of the PFS legal ones, I like the classic Draconic. Fluff-wise, my favorite is Dreamspun.

Orc bloodline is pretty awesome.

Darkivision is huge.

Yeah, darkvision. That's, uh, totally why I picked the Orc bloodline, guys...

the damage buff is awesome, but the darkvision i feel puts it over the top.

Shadow Lodge

I enjoy having Wildblooded Sylvan, having an animal companion that I can use my self only Polymorph spells is much better then using them on myself.

Scarab Sages

I really liked Wildblooded - Saguine, until it was banned :(

Sage is my favourite by far but then in PFS I like having all of the skill points ever. My level 11 sorcerer currently has 135 effective skill points counting bonus skills from his headband.

Student of Philosophy and Pragmatic Activator let him by Mr Face and Magic Item activator as well as any Charisma based sorcerer and you get most of the goodies of the arcane bloodline. In addition he has all of the knowledge skills and a load of scout stuff like disable device, fly, perception and escape artist.

Managing a +23 dayjob check on Craft(Alchemy) with a single skill point investment isn't bad either.

Shadow Lodge

Serpentine, because there's nothing quite like pre-human ancestral empires to get my creative juices flowing. Lovecraft/Howard is a big plus too.

Dark Archive

Div.

The spells are just nasty and destructive, the Arcana rewards blowing stuff up and the bloodline powers work best if you are a total scumbag.

The best one is the 15th level Squander power, which gives Staggered to an opponent for a minimum of 6 rounds, no save.

It's a bloodline for total thugs and yobs. You can jeer and destroy with your evil genie powers, stuff like Insect Plague and Earthquake. As a bonus, fellow party members can't even stand near you after a while, because you have a sickening, damaging aura you can't be selective about.

I want to make a football hooligan Div sorcerer. Oi oi!

I want to play a Dreamspun Sorcerer in our next Adventure because it is awesome to roleplay such a character and i have a strong concept for this character but the mechanic seems a bit weak....
Serpentine is also something i have a character concept for but it is still a bit rough so i wont play it in the next adventure.....

Sorcerer Bloodline: Stormborn.
Bloodrager: Fey.

Screw you all! Imperious all the way :P. When you are in a Party with a bard, a Skald, a Sensei, and a Paladin, the Imperious Sorcerer is awesome.

Also, Human FCB... just saying...

Stormborn, Aquatic, and Starsoul. I can't pick one as a stand out from those.

Silver Crusade

The Verdant Bloodline, because it lets you be a better nature-based caster than a caster druid.

Scarab Sages

Bah I far prefer being a Kitsune with the 9 tails bloodline.

Sovereign Court

I like Draconic for the Fluff.

Stormborn is good too but the bonus feat list is a real mess.
