I'm a great fan of Rumple Minze myself - though the best drunk of my life was on its cousin Goldschlager.

But both must be treated with some caution.

New plan: Gonna pick up six-packs of Guinness and some Irish red ale at Total Wine, then swing by Publix for chilled fried chicken and a bag of Skittles. Heat up the chicken about 30 minutes before the debate, crack open a beer, and toast a couple waffles when the chicken is done.

Chicken & waffles (w/ real butter and real maple syrup) with a couple beers for dinner, Skittles (including the 3 poisoned ones) for dessert.

That sounds like a decadent hangover in the making!

In the past I would drink a 40oz. during the debates. Olde English if I'm in a self loathing mood, or Ballantine if I'm feeling more optimistic.

Half mild, half stout, or half pale ale, half stout.

That'll get you through anything short of the Trumpocalypso, and maybe beyond.

I'll probably only make it through 3 beers if I open the first while the chicken is warming up. My tolerance has gone down as I've gotten older, but 3 beers max on full stomach of chicken & waffles? I should be ok.

I'm more worried about eating too much Skittles.

The beers alone are no problem - Guinness is good for you!

Beer + maple syrup + skittles = REALLY weird dreams!

I have no idea what sort of beer should be drunk with skittles.

Wait! That makes me sound like an obnoxious hipster prick!

O well. That ship has sailed.

Dissolve the skittles in vodka?

Drink the beer and throw the skittles at hipsters.

I'm not sure any beer goes good with Skittles, but I'm trying to eat as much as I can between now and election day.

To quote Carlin: "What kind of wine goes with Cap'n Crunch? Sometimes I just give up, smoke a bong full of Fruit Loops and go on back to bed."

Clearly you started early, that's completely backwards. :P

Eat the Skittles and throw the beer instead.

Homer: "I'm feelin' low, Apu. You got any of that beer that has candy floating in it, you know, Skittlebrau?"

Apu: "Such a product does not exist, sir! You must have dreamed it."
Homer: "Oh. Well then just gimme a six-pack and a couple of bags of Skittles."

Monster Treatise Six sounds like a new translated Japanese anime/manga about pre-teen heroes who summon monsters from tomes to compete/battle... and I think I'd like to watch/read it.

That was a hell of a thing last night.

What did I miss?

A person (or people? still fuzzy on that) decided to use a product page to attack one of the authors.

It's a good thing they shut it down before I woke up, I could really let loose with a self righteous liberal whirlwind today.

I was considering dumping a list of references to Pathfinder material on par (or worse) than the supposed "issue". Fortunately, threadlock saved me the posting time. ^_^

I eagerly await the thread's sterilization and/or Exterminatus.

I think a good rule of thumb is, "When you create a new alias just to provide support for yourself in a thread, then maybe, just maybe, you've gone too far."

Unless, of course, you're Captain Yesterday. In which case it's par for the course.

At least his are real aliases, not "different people".

I was only counting Paizo-published ones, since the whole point was that Paizo wouldn't stand for it. ^_^

My kids do not like People of the Rivers because of a certain picture there.

But, there weren't any sexy farm animals so I didn't think they'd want to know that.

Captain Yesterday fun fact: my religious brother and his wife never miss an episode of CSI, all variations, but refuse to allow their kids to watch Spongebob Squarepants and The Simpsons on account they think they're "offensive" even though they straight up refuse to say what's so offensive.

But, you have to respect their wishes, so I make sure they only watch Archer, and Bob's Burgers.

My perfect imitation of Spongebob's laugh I keep for family gatherings.

Are you sure you're not thinking of someone else, that doesn't sound like me. :-)

This is the best post. Like, I need to create a sockpuppet of my own just to favorite it again.

357 aliases and no sock puppets, either.

Disgraceful.

That's the one. :-)

It's a very good book though, and admittedly after watching 4 and a half seasons of American Horror Story, it's not so bad. :-D

Plus, i remember the dark, dark days of the artwork at the end of 2nd edition. :-)

"Oh that's a nice face! now copy and paste it on every person in this book... and remember, there's no such thing as too many chainmail bikinis"

Well if you wear enough of them in the right positions you can get a decent set of armor after awhile.

I'm sure that's what you meant, Captain, so you won't mind me fixing your quote.

And no lewd commentary, please.

Clearly, the mods have good taste.

Or the check I sent them didn't bounce.

For once.

Burn the trolls

Anyway, I'm sure next time you'll learn your lesson!

And hit those ignorant tone deaf f@@#ers even harder, if that's possible.

Heh. Chris hasn't deleted one of my posts in a long time. Takes me back.

Aaand back we go. A bit disappointed at the mod response, but I won't say how. :P

Well I can't find it.
