Was he in The Beach Boys.

Please don't link to anything, I'm quite happy not knowing.

Have any of you guys noticed a cotrelation between threads that get threadlocked and threads Chris Lambertz posts in? Maybe Chris Lambertz is the one who... Wait...

I felt bad Sara Marie had to lock ours -- just indicates how busy we're keeping Chris!

Where's the "apologize to Sara Marie" thread, anyway?

Oh I don't know, I've seen her post in threads that haven't been locked or moderated.

I personally love her upbeat "Hiya!" That she starts with when she does. :-)

Aw, man! Whenever she types at me it starts, "You blithering old buffoon!"

It usually goes downhill from there...

I believe you're supposed to praise Sara Marie.

Don't get me started on baboons!

Why I remember when we had to build the railway across Africa. Your grandmother looked just like Val Kilmer, which was the style at the time. So there I was! Surrounded by man eaters, hold on, let me back up, so for some reason they sent Val Kilmer to build the railway across Africa... hold on, no, I'm pretty sure I was piloting a sub through the Bering Strait, your grandmother looked just like Sean Connery, which was the style at the time...

For me Chris just threadlocks when I start rambling on about the glories of Orcus. Speaking of which! ;)

Yes, he was.

He sang:

"I'M PICKIN' UP GOOD VIBRATIONS
FROM THE IMPLANTS THE GLOBALISTIC ILLUMINATI-EERS HAVE IMPLANTED IN MY SKULL
OOP DOOP-DOOP, ELITIST VIBRATORS
CHEMTRAIL VACCINES IN THE SKY POINTING TO WHERE THE UNITED NATIONS WILL PUT ALL TRUE PATRIOTS INTO TOFU-GRATING CAMPS
OOP DOOP-DOOP, GLUTEUS MAXIMUS VERBOTENS"

Waves a Bic lighter above his head, which was clearly made by and for a vast global conspiracy. Or possibly just a bunch of greedy fire fetishists. Or maybe Mister Rodgers.

I love that song!

I'm going to assume that's what they called primordial dinosaurs.

I just realized that my posts have been getting a bit snippier since the election. I hope I'm not alienating people. I'm more likely to snap or dismiss than usual.

Runs in, kicks over Kobold Cleaver's bean curd. Runs off...

Gives Kobold Cleaver the hug he himself never gave me, not even after I bailed him out that one time in Vegas.

Sets fire to the Cleaver residence.

And the neighbors'.

And THEIR neighbors'.

And THEIR neighbors.

And...

The same thing happened to me in 2000, and well just about every election, here and abroad, since then has made it worse. I somehow turned into a cranky old man, and I'm barely past 40. It's just that in my day, you could get a Hershey bar the size of...

I saw that you used the term edgelord in another post, which I though was very funny once urban dictionary explained it to me. I think all we can do is to try and remember that this is just the internet, and to not take ourselves and others too seriously.

Also, killing massive amounts of kob... er... orcs! Yeah, killing orcs to help relieve some stress.

It's not locked technically, but James Jacobs withdrawing from his "Ask..." is an extra sad bit of news on top of a crummy week :(

Are you guys worried now that the political scene has shifted that you'll all be moved on? I mean, this thread is full of refugees from other threads. Surely MrT will notice!

Sigh, here is Australia we couldn't even get refugee status when our threads got banned. They just shipped us all off to a remote island with no real facilities and said "we'll look into your case soon"

(Intended as humour. Sometimes you have to laugh at the world)

No, don't worry, they still get to deal with the wildlife "facilities".

Never thought that thread would get locked.

I'm not surprised, questions have become more formal, complicated, and multi tiered.

It's become more like a formal interview and less a casual chat.

And so much of it is endlessly dissected, especially obvious off-the-cuff responses. :(

Yes, yes it is. That was one of the funnest and most enjoyable threads on here, the fact that a member of the staff repeatedly took so much time out of their day to answer our questions, no matter how inane, was humbling.

I'm sad that it came to this.

Yeah there were a few posters over the last year who drilled down on the minutae or seemed to enjoy pointing out some sentence in some random product that seemed to contradict some earlier statement of James or question his creative control. I don't know if its a RAW mentality creeping into how some folks view the setting or what.

Pathfinder lore is now at probably hundreds of thousand pages...it's impossible to keep track of every little bit and one shouldn't have to. You don't like something or need some little detail? Just ignore it and go with your own intuition.

Anyway the end of that thread was the "perfect" cap to an overall crappy week.

For what it's worth I like elves now because of James.

I also appreciate everything he did for demon kind over the years, both for 3rd edition and beyond.

No, he finally got sick of me asking "Are we there yet" or pestering him about Tammy's motivation.

So...are we there yet?

>:)

we'll get there when we get there!!!

That soul-crushing elf question was me. C'est la vie.

Looks like several of the post 11/8/16 political threads were outright deleted by the moderators. One of those was interesting too. *le sigh*

I actually asked them to lock my "Krump Farewell" thread, so I had no problem with that.
