I need to figure out how my rogue can start using Disable Device as a combat action.
here you go, an item from a Pathfinder Tales chronicle...
Dampening ring of Laurdin Iket (1,000 gp, limit 1; on a successful melee touch attack targeting a construct, this small, ring-like device attaches to the target, forcing the construct to make a DC 16 Will save of be unable to move or take any actions [as if paralyzed]. At the end of each round during which it is unable to act, the construct may attempt a new Will save to end the condition with a cumulative +1 bonus on the saving throw for each round it suffers the dampening ring’s effects. After an affected construct is destroyed or saves against the effect, the ring is destroyed.)
Robots got bad Will saves...

Seriously, how cool would it be to be able to put some kind of clockwork template on an Animal Companion or Familiar?
yeah, and how many times are the PCs going to go in the Bar and have the Bartender yell out "we don't serve their kind in here!" pointing at the Robo-Companions and Robo-Familiar...

At least as often as they do it for the animals I suspect.

So what do we know about Season 6?
Sounds like a focus on Numeria to me.
Wild speculation in 3..2..1
Yeah. Have to admit I figured that would be the case when I saw the August AP announcement. Many were thinking Osirion, but that has not been the pattern the last three seasons.
Here's hoping that they achieve a feel along the lines of Expedition to the Barrier Peaks and avoid the temptation to simply go laser/robot gonzo.
Of course, with the thousands of (supposedly rare) adamantine weapons in characters' hands out there, construct-laden adventures won't be very difficult, I suspect.
Heh. One more follow up I just thought of: Construct-laden adventures will make all those paladins that were spawned by the announcement of Season 5 very sad, I suspect. Paizo has a cruel streak...

I want me an android boon.
Given the power of the android race (+your level to a d20 roll and huge numbers of saving throw bonuses) as well as the level of spotlight-focus that it would be guaranteed to funnel onto that one PC for the genre-bucking nature of the character, I'm guessing that boon will either never exist or be a one-off auction boon.

While I loved Expedition I loved it largely BECAUSE it was a one off. Numeria is definitely an area that I have NO interest in.
I really hope that the robot side is seriously underplayed. I'm already running out of Season 0-5 scenarios to play and run:-)
Despite my thread title, if there are a lot of constructs as opponents as Drogon suggests, I doubt they will have the feel/flavor of high tech "robots with lasers". Probably more like golems and clockwork creatures.

Chris: Will you create multiple versions of the same character then in homage to the dozen or so different versions of that particular movie? :)
Numeria looks very interesting, what will be interesting though is why the Society is going there considering the inhospitably of the country and it's rulers (yaa Warlords!) + the technic league.

Well just take a look at the Adventure Path that releases at Gen Con. this year its Iron Gods. Last year it was Wrath of the Righteous. The year before the big release was the Rise of the Runelords pfs edition.
Rise of the Runelords - Year of the Risen Rune
Wrath of the Righteous - Year of the Demon (Siege of Diamond city even happens kinda in the background of The Worldwound Incursion and vice versa)
Iron Gods - Year of the golem?
Since the PFS releases have been tying into the AP ones, you can bet Numeria will be involved.

I expect the Decemvirate will have to sort through pages and pages of Chronicle sheets whining about how much they hate it there, how the Technic League keeps asking them to taste things, how wierd that soft glass-like stuff feels, why do they need to deal with a giant metal scorpion, and so on.
Though my characters might not like it there, I'm fairly certain that I will.

Well, the word 'robot' actually comes from an old Czech word, robotnik, meaning 'slave', and they're not slaves. They're very very happy. And not robots.
I do hope there are some new facets being introduced here such as more clockworks and maybe even some gunslinger foes. Sure, I'm probably signing all of my characters' death warrants there, but I hope for a challenge.

Silh: You dont do modules? Im sure ive seen Modules that allow for level 13+ play. And they have Chronicle sheets
I am currently participating in Eyes of the Ten, but I was given the impression that because I would be 13.2 after the end that I would not be able to do anything else unless I got that 1 XP from a scenario?

Year of the Risen Rune was just as much about the Shattered Star module as it was the Anniversary edition of RotR. So it wasn't the sole reason for that naming convention. It's more what the August AP start is going to be.

Its strange , its not the first time someone has told me that they couldnt play a Module because they were XX.2
I do hope someone out there isnt starting this BS rule rumor.
I've not been told much, that's all. I was given the impression that being xx.2 after 12 could cause problems, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

+1. I'll play it, but honestly, robots and the like have no appeal to me at all in this type of genre. This will be a season of holding my nose while I play.
Now, if the whole robot/construct thing isn't overplayed, then cool - I mean, I'm willing to give it a chance. But, at this point, I'm not overly excited about Season 6.
