help me name my weapon set please

Advice

I have a character with a Kama, double chained. One half is MW cold iron, the other is MW mithral. The character would like to affectionately call them by name but I'm out of ideas. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Mr. Hack and Mr. Slash just doesn't sound right.

Well, since we're dealing with eastern weapons anyway... why not go Japanese? You could call them Kiri (to cut) and Saku (to tear), and together they'll be Kirisaku (to cut off, to cut up, to tear to pieces).

(name) - (etymology)

Half and Half - A pun on the coffee creamer of the same name.

Alloy of Balance - Alloys are what result from the melding and mixing of different metals. Balance refers to it affecting DR/cold-iron and DR/silver.

No Kamant - Pun on the phrase "no comment".

Hackapell - A Finnish war cry from the 1600's that translates roughly to "Hack on them!" or "Cut them down!".

Fiend's Foe - Overcomes the law/chaos portion of the DR of both Devils and Demons.

True Balance - See Alloy of Balance.

Neutrality - It is silver (chaotic) and cold iron (lawful), therefore it is neutral.

Equality - See Neutrality.

Dr. Overcomesall - It overcomes (most) all DR.

If you're feeling eastern, they could be Dai and Sho. Daisho are the paired long and short swords used. It'd be funny, because your kamas are probably both the same size.

If you're not feeling particularly eastern, Cat's Claw and Scalpel are perennial classics.

I imagine mithril as light blue and cold iron as black metal, so an eastern name could be something like Kuro and Sora-iro.

Or you could always go with Bert and Ernie.

Tukana

Ohhh, I have another one. In Japanese you can put "o" in front of a word as an honorific to make it more polite. So now we can take that, put it in front of your kama, and now your weapon has turned into an okama (male transvestite).

Sorry for not being serious, but sometimes the Japanese language amuses me, and the (o)kama thing just dawned upon me.

If only I could find a way to justify calling a sickle Splinter, Splinter and Shredder would be a wonderful (if not weird / paradoxal) duo.

Someone once attempted to sunder the wooden haft of the kama. While it is still structurally intact, the lacquer on the wood was chipped a bit causing it now to occasionally give the wielder an annoying splinter.

Annabelle and Isabelle.
- Had a daggerspell mage in 3.5 that used a pair of daggers.

If your character is either low Cha, or low Int and without the skill points to put into things like Diplomacy or Intimidate, call one Diplomacy and the other Intimidate.

Call one side "Fairies" and the other side "Werewolves".

Print "Suck it" on the chain with arrows pointing to either weapon.

Wither for one weapon.
