"Sting—injury; save Fort DC 18..." and such.
Head slot joke item vs. head slot joke item. I actually have no clue which is the better of the two.
I found the apology item. How nice.
Still haven't seven mine.

Something for Seymour to feed. It's a little rough around the edges, but I'm actually quite taken with it. Hope I get to vote for it again.

@Bardess: I was lucky and got to see mine after about 400 votes, and a 2nd time before I hit 500. Hang in there! 8')

Didn't see mine until well into dedicated. Best of luck!

Ravenous is a perfectly fine word, and you used it appropriately.
But I spent several moments wondering what exactly your item had to do with ravens.
I've seen mine twice and I'm well over 1000 votes, and it has taken others longer. Mine were just before dedicated and right after marathon.

Ah, just found the Dresden item.
TimsterMon wrote: I did not expect to vote for my item twice by now (and still not sure why I am not at 500 votes yet!)... I an jealous. 500+ and no sign of mine.
I was thinking of making a marriage feast with all the items here.
Yikes, just found an item at 299 words that used a ' instead of feet. Luckily it didn't push the item over the word limit.

Saw an item that aped another one.
I am not proud of that pun.
I'm amused by the item that "heals" 5000 gp worth of diamond dust into a 5000 gp diamond.

@Kerney - sorry for the rub, I've since posted I've been "lucky" to see my item. 8')

finally got to see a centaur item after a dozen or so familiar item pairings
50 words item, created without spells.
Back to recycling items I've seen quite often before. At least it's about time to take a break and go game.
Guano vs. Pick Your Feat item.
Guano's better.
Not only have I seen both of these items several times, I think I've even had them paired up before.
600 votes in and I finally see two strong keeps up against each other. Decisions, decisions.
Olė.
I have to vote it. Too flashy!

Wow, such a fun item I just saw, it made me smile. Sadly, it's clearly inspired by a modern/futuristic piece of equipment, so I doubt it'll make the top 32. :(

Finally found a poop item. Luckily for it, the other item bothered me more.
Well, that's wonky. Two severely mis-formatted entries... with precisely the same poor formatting.
See, kids? I told you formatting errors don't necessarily count against you!
Single-use consumables costing over 1500gp are criminal, I tell you. Criminal!

Oh wow, an item with the same theme as an item I almost submitted. And with nearly the same powers. It's not something that I thought would be a common idea.
I don't care if they're a joke item, these boots are awesome and have earned the Rincewind Seal of Approval.
Just up voted a total house of cards, hope it stays up, it was paired with a really windy one!
Apparently I stopped too soon earlier, I only needed two more items. Okay, 498 more to go.

Look what your back story item made me do! I had to vote for the Hitch Hiker's item!
Although, it was still better.
Seeing new items is still a thrill.
Item 600. Whatever the Monopoly item(s) is/are, it's still out there.
Waiting. Watching. Judging.

Every time I see this item I think the word is "Barbituate."
I don't think that speaks well of me.

And...there's my item. Stupid minor formatting error.
I'm in love with two of the cloaks. I just got to up-vote one of them. I don't know what I'll do if they show up together.

I have the same problem with a couple of items with names that ping my nurse mind.
Torc, torc, torc, all day long.....
useful but bland and uninspiring item vs. treasure replicator... guess I'll go useful and bland.

It's got several flaws, but I really like this clever little helmet.
Basically a Potion vs Glowpoop

I have discovered the downside of trying to vote a lot ...
I am displeased with my item, and based on what I have NOT seen ... I now have to wait a full year before submitting the BETTER ITEM I have thought up.
*FLAILS*
Darn you, RPG SUPERSTAR!
