Born and raised in Wisconsin, I cut my teeth on tabletop gaming in the 1970s and 80s—rolling dice for D&D, and later clicking through classics like Curse of the Azure Bonds and Pool of Radiance on my trusty Commodore 64.
The Marine Corps gave me the chance to see the world, and wherever I went, dice followed. Cyberpunk, Battletech, and of course, D&D kept me connected to gaming communities across the globe.
Eventually, I dropped anchor in Maryland, where I’ve raised two amazing sons—both Eagle Scouts, both gamers, both now successful young men. I’m also blessed with an incredible wife who constantly inspires me to be a better person.
I first sat down at a Pathfinder table in 2009 at GenCon, and I’ve been hooked ever since. When I returned to Maryland, I dove into organized play, and by 2012 I was volunteering with Paizo—a role I still treasure today as a way to give back to the hobby that’s given me so much.
