I am NOT tiny. Not tiny, not tiny... I'm just... particularly small...
Guy, where did you come up with these effects? Did you just spin the "random bonus" wheel and decide your item gave the wearer whatever it landed on?

I haven't seen that one yet. Oi! Seen it four times now.
It haunts me. Like a very fabulously wealthy ghost.
Cost 10000+
Sure... that's how this works
Wow, that's a creepy item.

I loved Price: see item description.... Oh yeah it wasn't listed there either
Boot to the head, now as a swift action I also...

What if I prefer it in domestic colors?
Two really sweet items... I knew it would come to this... eventually... **ACK***
I didn't expect to like you, wondrous item, but you've got style.
Zi'on Darkbane wrote: Two really sweet items... I knew it would come to this... eventually... **ACK*** Really? I had lost hope that that would happen.
crap, I am becoming jaded
Saw none of the retraining items for 300 or so votes...and then back to back. That's more of a plot point guys.

Not sure which I hate more, picking between two crappy items or between too really sweet items...
Most of my experience falls into one of these camps almost exclusively though...
Oh, cool, a sword that glows in the vicinity of orcs and goblins. Definitely never seen that before. Yep, 100% original idea

Staff in a glove. Rod in some other thing I forgot. I really want to play a character decked out in some of these to break a GM.

I'm positive you meant contact other plane rather than what your unfortunate typo rendered instead.

52 word item that I like and is reasonablyish priced. Congratulations whoever.

Sometimes you need to just call some chlorophyll.
Torture device (more or less) from 1984... Gruesome...

I've seen one repeatedly that is just utterly fantastic. Simple and neat. I'm seriously adding it to my games.
Cool imagery, but you don't seem to do anything practical.
A superstar item! Praise be to Ao!
And look at that, it's gloves.
Tooth item of bling vs socketable item of "I've played too much Diablo 2 recently"
Well, I suppose with the amount of variations of each of those that I have seen that I was bound to run into that decision eventually
I think exact word counts, except for mid to high counts which comprise the bulk of the entries, should be avoided.
Items with low word counts seem to be very few and far between and may be too easily identifiable.
Or am I off on this?
That is the cleverest retraining item I've seen so far...
Mike Welham wrote: That is the cleverest retraining item I've seen so far... I wonder if it is the one I have seen and upvoted everytime.
What? no new posts in 5 minutes. I'm confused... and need sleep

Lots of items that would be good in Harvest Moon.

French words in any item description. Ka-peesh?
I hate the retraining items, they seem too meta and make the game too easy.
wish I'd stop seeing so many items of great worth to non-adventurers but of little or no use to them.
Crap! We just lost power! In the northeast- still snowing outside.
Everybody save their work!

Shawl vs. pauldrons... Epic...
There seems to be a lot of denotation for feet as xx' in submissions, it's more distracting than I expected. I do wish I posted more often, and participated in more voting last year; regardless of the repetitiveness its more fun than I expected.

For a moment your avatar looked like a tall stein of Guinness.
Perhaps my brain is trying to tell me something.
Saying screw you to multiple character classes should cost a bit more than that. Shouldn't be an item whatsoever, but if it has to be...
I am thinking a lot of people get bored when their character goes down and that must be the reason for all of the "My character died but I still want something to do while I wait to be healed or resurected."..... ADD is an affliction.

Does it say somewhere in the advice not to do 24 hour attunement periods on your items? They are important to keep people from swapping out similar items whenever they need one of the benefits over another, and they also appear in plenty of official items. It's a single phrase that would fix broken items like the quick runner's shirt. Unfortunately, it's also one of those phrases that gets stuck in people's heads and makes them want to burst a blood vessel. C'est la vie. (There's some French for you, Zi'on!)
