All those words. And still you managed to forget the essentials like Aura, Caster Level, Price, Construction Requirements, etc.

Hmmm I can now play any class, wear a shirt, helmet, boots, amulet and bracers and always have the same abilities as a Barbarian without any ill effects!

It's nice to see some new items.
Too bad they're vomit items. :(
(And why would I want to pay that much to throw up? I have two fingers that don't cost a thing.)
class in a can vs. locomotive skin thing
Seriously... would it have killed you to include a "Both of these items are really bad, never show them to me again!" button?
Sick and twisted or wisps?
Hmmmm.

I read some of these and think 'why didn't I enter?' Then I remember staring at the blank entry form with an equally vacant brain.
I applaud all those who did take the plunge and submitted something, even if you feel beat up here. At least you did it! Good on ya.

'______'
I don't think that spell works the way you think it works....
I know someone who didn't read Matt Goodall's item!

It's been said before in other words, but my person auto-reject is seeing "GM" anywhere in the description. Even worse is seeing "DM."
Please just call it a necklace or a pendant!!!

This item's name makes it sound like it would chafe. A lot. Where you wouldn't want to chafe.

...oh.
Every time I think I'm out, they drag me back in...
At least year I have yet to come across any items that require AD&D spells that never made it to 3rd edition, let alone pathfinder.

There are a lot of items weirdly themed around non-adventuring professions.

Aww, that personal appeal by the author was cute. Totally unprofessional, and lost my vote. But awfully cute. Good luck in the future!

Nothing like a brief bit of self-analysis as to why you created what you created to make me think twice about voting down your item.

Judging is much easier after that hot buttered rum. *click!*
I didn't detest that item I thought I would by the title.
Surprising.
There are too many items that would introduce long interruptions and/or completely sidetrack a session. It's hard enough to stay on track without distractions like that.
If I made such an item, I'd give it a long and transparent name:
Gewgaw of Let's Stop in the Middle of This Module and Do That Other Thing for Half the Evening, Magically

Hmm. You made a wondrous item out of an already existing ring combined with a D&D cartoon reference. Not Superstar, but my hat is off to you, sir or madam.

One of my favorites so far had a name that hinted at grossness but was simple and clever

Without getting too specific, there's an item that does maze but replaces it with something else for flavor. I *think* it means that you just need to make the INT check as with maze, but my initial impression was that you had to roleplay out the entire..."something else."
Cool item, though.

well that one's pretty neat ... up voted
The vomit item just got regurgitated into my queue. Along with an item that can be used secondarily for similar stomach problems.
zylphryx wrote: well that one's pretty neat ... up voted It makes me very happy to think about a vote as upvoting one great item, rather than downvoting a bad one.
Treppa wrote: Say it ain't so. Well, potentially does both, at least. But I've seen that item at least three times now, so it definitely wasn't just a hallucination.

This may be a naive question, but do many sessions really stop for an hour or so, so a character can have a dream?
Seems to me like adventurers are pretty likely the target demographic for the song 'Thrift Shop'. I mean they love them some antiquing as well.

(And there are items for that too!)

I did see a badger item. It was not quite what I expected, but it was still much better than synchronized watches.
Lots of folks must have been inspired by Irrison. There are tons of lovely ice/snow-themed items.
