Ooh, juicy new souls, presenting themselves all voluntarily. And this one wants to sing me a song...
I've freed up some time, so I'm tempted. Any special requests? I've played 'Mists of Mwangi' (0-05) as a bard, which worked rather well.
Two catches:
'Look mom, no stars': I'm relatively new at DMing pathfinder on PbP boards (do have plenty of experience in RL AD&D), so you'll have to bear with me when I wash out on rules or mention proficiency checks.
'Tis the season to be jolly': which also tends to be the season of travelling around and of irregular posting schedules. I won't be posting all that much between Dec 24 and Dec 29, probably - we'll see how it goes.

Played Mists before... :(
You do have a goodly number of willing and new ppl here.
First Steps part 1 is Free (if you haven't played it too much). If you play that we call get to play. If you still wish to run Mists, well, thats cool too. I am just as happy to get you GMing and get some new ppl PbP-ing.

I would very much like to run in Mists or First steps works too. I'm trying to get the character finished up to be ready when you are.
And no worries over being newish, I am as well. I like that PbP gives you time to look up things you're unclear on. I have AD&D roots as well, running an old Ravenloft mod that I attempted to convert to Pathfinder on these boards now. ^_^

I've opened up a generic recruitment thread here
I'm seeing eight different people here (if I counted correctly), and I might have three or four more coming over from a finished romp through the fallen fortress, so I was thinking of opening up a glass river rescue, a first steps and a mists of mwangi table. I'll be keeping reserved spots for the eight of you, please dot in on the recruitment thread.
@Bluedove: yes, I think the PbP format is excellent for learning the game, especially with the along with the searchable PRD. Love the job you're doing on shipyard rats (Frindlikh says hi)
