Use Antagonize on an NPC who is trying to run away from the party. Honestly, it just seemed like the easiest way to avoid a chase scene. It also forced the DM to have the NPC attack me, which was very out of character for this particular NPC. I don't think she's forgiven me to this day.

Actually, knowing the specifics of this particular incident, the issue wasn't Antagonize; it was that you didn't have the source book for the feat, or the errata. You did happen to state that at the table. Then, when you didn't like her judgement, you requested a rules clarification. Then, when making your pitch, you used an expletive to describe her without realizing you were talking to her husband and one of her best friends.

I think that might have something to do with the fact that she hasn't forgiven you more than you using the feat.

Oh yes.. talk about Stink-Eye from the Andoran player. :D

Also from that every same game...

The Tengu Musket Master is not to 'help' the Face Cleric with diplomacy by pointing his musket @ the bad guys and yell 'Hey Jackass' from the other side of the market.

No longer allowed to use my +42 stealth to "spectate" encounters

"Batting cleanup" is not an acceptable excuse for sneak attacking the bbeg and taking all the cred.

Eating the bag lunch Mother has prepared should not take precedence over saving the party.

Just because I can roll Sleight of hand as a Day job does not give me license to does this during the VC monologue on the VC as a "down payment" on scenario gp awards.

No allowed to ask Canayvan how a goofy looking moron like him scored an evil but foxy wife like Sheila.

Not allowed to liberally misinterpret the phase "take care of" as an excuse to murder NPCs.

This one made me laugh out loud for some reason. I approve.

Da, is good... Mother makes excellent sandwiches, and uses special mustard imported from Kaer Maga, buuut is still no excuse for not helping with the exploration and reporting and stuff.

A full round of arrows from a ranger with favored enemy human (+4) does them in pretty quickly as well. Sad, very sad.

What? Um… that's a big distinctive feature that implies that something odd may be happening.

On a related note: I'm close to being banned from ranting about the end of some scenarios, because TPTB must have a plan that I'm not aware of which makes that ending actually make sense and a satisfying storyline.

Played a game at the recent Game Day, and the final combat is against a Rogue and an Alchemist. Fine, so far as it goes, but the description of the Alchemist doesn't include her tentacles, apparently because it would allow those with Alchemist PCs to metagame that that gives her reach.

Nopthing that a Knowledge skill, if the description had implied that one was needed, wouldn't have provided. And my PC for this game was my Lore Warden, with a +13 Knowledge (Local)...

Spoiler:
IIRC, the scenario is 4-14: My Enemy's Enemy, and the Rogue's sneak attack damage was negligable for the 6-7 sub-tier. It was just irritating that there was nothing to say the human wasn't human, and could use her apparently hidden tentacles to actually threaten. Meh.

Grand Lodge 4/5

The Alchemist doesn't have tentacles, he has a longspear.

Dark Archive 4/5

Im no longer allowed to feeblemind the only person with access to a diamond dust storage facility while a city is being besieged by demons.

TriOmegaZero wrote:

Well, my GM said it was tentacles, not a longspear.

Indeed, IIRC, the Alchemist was so busy 5' stepping and tossing bombs at the Barbarian, it was never mentioned that she had a weapon in hand. She also never took an AoO at the Barbarian when they first approached her...

Shadow Lodge 4/5

I can't flag posts as being off topic, but do you think we could move the tentacle/longspear stuff to its own thread?
