Personally i'd like to see at least three of the most nefarious villains of all time that pathfinder writers concocted in their own homegrown campaigns with their friends.
It would be nice if such villains were titled "iconic villains" and given three separate stat blocks for recurring villainy.
it would be nice for something truly new and world shakingly terrifying.
also it would be nice to see the evolution of a villain from heroic to epic with visuals of a cut above the rest to truly awe inspiring horror.
the idea is a tactic to build a campaign around a villain, twart him early on, and see him come back even more powerful each time again and again with new tricks up his sleave.
the point logically is to showcase a model. yes you could do this sort of thing yourself as a talented gm, but where in your product do you have a benchmark.
realistically though this would be a 3 page ordeal so to not p.o. the general fan base this should be a one shot and never done again.
so what was the most horrible villain you pf staff never published?

Bardess mentioned "winged cats" which is pretty cool -- I always loved the "Feystag" from the 2E Monstrous Compendium Annual #2. It was a small cat with a small set of deer antlers.
Let's bring back something like the Feystag and a few other cat-based wierdos to hang out with pixies & grigs & sprites & dryads and such.
But I'm still keeping my one vote for the new Nightshade: NightWolf or NightLion that I mentioned earlier. (And the Children of Intellect Devourers).

Illithid are about 6 feet tall.
Star Spawn are about 20 feet tall (in Pathfinder...in Lovecraft I would assume they're about the same size and power level as Cthulhu).
Illithid physically eat your brain.
Star Spawn do not.
Illithid want to enslave humanity and the other humanoid races.
Star Spawn might occasionally notices that humanity and the other humanoid races exist, but the have no agenda for them.
They share a similar outline, but they are not even close to being interchangable.

I would still like to see the Cat Sidhe/Cat Sith and Cu Sith(large size green furry dog) would be awesome. I don't care if they are fey or magical beast.
An incorporeal dragon, plant, and monstrous humanoid would be cool.
More elementals please, like 10-15 would be really nice.
Winged cats and winged serpents as a improved familiars.
A CR20 race of giants.
A CR20 type of fey. Some high CR fey of small or smaller size and at least one CR16 and CR19. Also one fey that is bigger then huge size.
A good aligned corporeal type of undead.
Some non-evil lycanthropes such as werepanthers, wereravens, etc.. Also the evil werefox.
A good aligned type of drake but mostly some neutral ones.
More Kaiju of course.
More types of Proteans and Inevitables.
More types (and reprints from non-hardcover bestiaries)of Angels, Azatas, and Agathions.
Reprints of the Oni from APs and maybe some new ones.
One or two more Old Ones.
All the Kami from the APs reprinted plus a new one or two.
Some new Tane maybe one with a CR25+.
A CR17+ humanoid that is not a giant.
Some more types of Goblinoids and a fey that is like a shapeshifting goblin.

Can you tell I like my other Alignment entities besides the typical angel/devil/demon caste that gets way overdone?

Dragon78 |

MORE AEONS PLEASE!!!
Angles are not overdone but I agree about devils and demons.
An alien celestial group.
More types of LN and CN outsiders.
Firbolgs as a type of giant or giant like race of fey.
I would like 15-20 fey.
I would still like to oozes that do not feed on organic matter but metal, energy(heat, electricity, etc.), emotions, souls, life energy, time, undead, or magic.
I would like to have an ooze improved familiar that isn't harmful for it's master to touch.
More plant based animal companions like the ARG had.
A non-fungus/mold plant based template that makes animals and other corporeal creatures into plant versions of themselves. Maybe different options for what kind or kinds of plant you want to base it on like vines, trees, flowers, kelp, etc..

Okay, I wanna say this. Anyone ever seen The Thing? (both the original and the remake). Anyways, I would like to see a creature like that (either an aberration or an undead), that has the ability to 'add' the bodies of those it kills, as well as the ability to morph into different forms once a day.
Just imagine it. You think you're talking to a harmless human women...when she gives out an otherworldly moan, and grows another head and four extra limbs. I'd be terrified if I came across that!

While I don't like Chthulu I understand its the most popular creature out in the entire world.
Its difficult to Surpass that in bestiary 5 and that worries me, it looks like every popular big thing is put into bestiary 4, kinda looks like a last resort and last part in the series...
I hope i'm wrong, but in comes the The Thing (from the movie)
I think that movie is EXTREMLY popular, in the Netherlands most people will like the thing more than Chthulu.
So I think that the Thing Needs to be in bestiary 5 and also on the cover.
Also more Kaiju to please the people that love generic big stuff and some robots.

I'd like to see what the 'Blarney Stone Golem' would be like (that someone earlier suggested).
Garlic bread golem
Why stop there? We could have a whole Italian-food themed bestiary...
The Man-eating Lasagna
The Dire Ziti
Ethereal canolis
The dreaded deep-seep Linguini Alfredo
Elemental garlic knots
The Calzone of Doom!
Fiedish pizza-faces
And lets not forget the gelatinous crème brulée (Okay, thats French, but Olive Garden used to sell them...)
And now for something a little more sane: How about another world-specific bestiary with ordinary animals that AREN'T from Earth. I'd love (for once) to see a fantasy world really filled with fantasy critters. This could even be combined with Flora in a 'Golarion Naturalis' type of in-game tome (with uses for herbs, animal parts, etc... to make it more useful).

Should I be a little sheepish about admiting that this made me think of Burgess Meredith's grocery store routine in the classic comedy Grumpier Old Men?!
"I have been to Hawaii."
"Which Island?"
""Commoniwannalaya,...
"Youlikalickydicky,..."

Things I'd like to see in general current order from most-to-least:
At least one of each of: Archdevil (highest on the request list), Malebranche, Whore Queen, Horseman, Kyton Demagogue, Asura Rana, Archon Empyreal Lord, Primal Inevitable, Protean Lord, Eldest, Psychopomp Usher, Rakshaha Immortal; I'll throw Oni Daimyo on too if they're notably different from the standard Oni Yai types
Oitos Kyton (and other Kytons)
Alien/otherworldly Celestials
New Proteans / Inevitables
Specialized/ Hierarch Axiomites
High-CR Nightshades
A CR 20+ Colossal Giant
Nekomata/Bakeneko
Tane
Wasp Formians
Gigases
Good-Aligned Undead
Robots
Azi
More Positive / Negative Energy Plane-Dwelling Creatures
Mirror Lurker
More Plane of Dreams-Dwelling Creatures
Bio-Constructs
Sand Kraken
Lawful, Neutral, and Chaotic Planetouched (I'll throw out special thanks to Rogue Eidolon for the book on Reapers, which I ended up getting thanks to the recommendation based on my last request for these. I'm still hoping for some sort of official Paizo support for them, though.)
Half-X Templates for Chaotic and Lawful outsiders.
More Qlippoth
More Aeons
Aquatic Monsters
Corpse Orgy
Stolas

I would like more monsters inspired by creatures from movies and TV shows. Here examples for inspiration.
The Thing
Little Shop of Horrors
Night of Creeps
Gremlins(a type of gremlin or a separate type of monstrous humanoid)
Predator
They Live
Labyrinth(Ludo is awesome)
Dark Crystal
Nightmare on Elm Street
Stephen King's It
Sci-fi and horror movies of the 50's
You know whatever can be legally used or what the law will allow.

![]() |

Stephen King's It
.
.I was thinking about Pennywise the Clown -- but we already have the Bogeyman.
And the unique Skinsaw Man and Carnival of Tears NPCs.
Plus the 3E Paeleryon Devil (who's more like The Violator from Spawn, but stil,...)
I think that for Pennywise (and Freddy and Chucky and Ludo & such), we've already got the monsters -- we just have to use them creatively. And you know Paizo can't make something too like Pennywise or Stephen King will get his lawyers to beat us up.
You want Pennywise, Paizo gives you the Bogeyman.

![]() |

Demon Lord?
He has a 20 Watt light-bulb in his belly that is vulnerable to non-magical kicks from a couple folks suffering their mid-life-crises.
If John Ritter can turn the spider (Large sized at best) over on his side without even provoking an AoO, and then kick it to death, I don't think I'd call it a Demon Lord.
But you're absolutely right; Pennywise IS more than a clown with illusion magic.

Dragon78 |

Pennywise was more of a Lovecraftian horror then a demon.
Well I haven't seen a good aligned horned furry monstrous humanoid that can control rocks. Also I said creatures inspired by these guys like the Bodyfilcher(Bodysnatcher), Carnivorous Blob(The Blob), etc. I am sure they can think of interesting things that can be used.

Crystal Drake- Can crystalize creatures(petrification effect) as a special ability or a poison that does dex damage(dex reaches 0= crystalized), immune to petrification. I would like it around CR10-11.
Storm Drake- Has a limited control weather ability(storms only), breaths lighting, has a thunder (sonic) attack, immune to wind effects and lightning. I would like it to be around CR12-13.
Jungle Drake- Is highly poisonous, breath weapon like a cloudkill spell, has a poisonous bite, is immune to poison. I would like it to be around CR8-9.
Eldritch Drakes- Drakes infused with mystical energies and crave these energies so they eat magic, breath weapon dispels magic, bite drains magic, magic immune. I would like it to be around CR13-14.

I don't have bestiary 4 yet, so I don't know what's in there but here's my wishlist for bestiaries in general.
More templates please, the ability to alter monsters with templates increases your options exponentially. While we're on the subject, if you have templates in the book could you add an appendix to the end with a list of which ones are templates? There's no easy way to find out that I can see in the existing bestiaries and it wouldn't use up a lot of page space.
Creatures at the top of the Fey hierarchy, the equivalents of pit-fiends, solars, etc. In fact it would be great to have a boss version of every creature type around CR 20.
An angelic equivalent of the primordial demons, something that predates the ascension of mortal souls into heaven. That would be really cool.
Lower CR monsters that match up well against higher level PCs when you have a larger group of them. I have no specific examples but if there are some monsters that fit this role in the bestiary 5 I'll be very excited.
And I actually think a sexy angel type could be pretty cool, something to match the Erinyes, Succubi and Incubi at their own game. (Though it would be nice if Sexy didn't automatically translate into female).
Overall though, I'm really happy with the bestiaries and as long as you keep making them as awesome as you have I'll be content.

Lust is mostly a sin and angels are sinfree creatures. So I don't think a sex-based angel (most angels already look sexy BTW) is gonna happen anytime soon. :-p
Not an attack on your wish, just a thought before the entire anti-me gang starts to go berserk again.
Actually, Paizo did give us Arshea, and Lymnieris. If Empyreal Lords of sexuality and prostitution, why not celestials? Not part of the anti-you gang, btw.
Also, seconding the request for all/any of these, but especially the Psychopomp Usher and Horseman. Kyton Demagogue fills me with horror and delight.
Archdevil, Malebranche, Whore Queen, Horseman, Kyton Demagogue, Asura Rana, Archon Empyreal Lord, Primal Inevitable, Protean Lord, Eldest, Psychopomp Usher, Rakshaha Immortal, Oni Daimyo.
