An arctic druid (snowcaster elf) whose sister is going to play her animal companion
a dwarf (either ranger or barbarian) with the blood of giants trait.....hmmmm
and a Hexcrafter Magus with the vigilante witchhunter trait (possible multi class into witch hunter inquisitor)
a possible fifth (unconfirmed) might be an elven zen archer.

each of them have additional items.

Beneficial Bandolier
Bane Baldric
Inquisitor's Bastion Vambraces
Birgun
Pelt of Primal Power
Iron Horn of Valhalla
Boots of the Winterlands
Yort

Pendent of Companion Holding (pendent that can carry an animal companion in an extra-dimensional space until called upon. Can be used at will for only one companion at a time)
Hansel has alot of magic guns to start with due to the fact that he will not find many firearms or resources to create ammunition with during the AP until part 5.
zergtitan |
I did that because i felt both fit with hansels character, but in my book as long as they don't conflict and can work together I would allow up to two traits per trait category with a maximum of four traits total, unless the character gets the additional traits feat. (Max of 8 total). Such as two for campaign, two for faith, two for race, and two for place of origin.
OmegaZ |
I've got a few that I'm kicking around.
-Elven abjurer. Lives in Heldren, had a bad experience in his forties with a curse from a hag witch that his body to constantly produce a black bile, causing him to cough constantly. Got cured by a powerful wizard from out of town, who took him on as an apprentice. Since then he's learned how to protect himself and others from magic, especially curses/hexes. Taking the Warded against Witcher trait for him.
-A fighter with the Blood of Giants trait... who's a halfling. At 4' 2" he is the tallest halfling ever seen and uses his considerable girth to protect his fellows from bullies. Gonna specialize in the halfling sling staff, possibly going for the Weapon Master archetype.
-Lazy human fighter (crossbowman archetype), this guy joined the town guard so he wouldn't have to do much work. Focuses on the crossbow because its an easy weapon, just point and shoot. Thankfully, he's a very good shot and doesn't abuse his position. Has a strong sweet tooth and very fair skin, which he credits to his Ulfen ancestry. Going to grumble a lot near the beginning of the adventure, but the more he stays in the snow the more alive he feels!
-Sorcerer (dreamspun bloodline) and Desnan priest (don't know what race) who focuses on dreams, their interpretation, and driving out nightmares. Used to be under the sway of a nighthag, but was saved by an inquisitor of Desna. Now wanders Taldor and Galt, helping those who are plagued by horrors and need help achieving their dreams. Warded against Witchery or Restless Wayfarer trait.
-Half-elf oracle of nature and worshipper of the Green Faith. NG, lives in an orchard just out of town (that's about to get a LOT more snowy), sells the apples, pears, and peaches in town and is genuinely a nice guy. Only problem is I have no idea what trait would work. Could also be a sorcerer with the verdant bloodline.
-Taldan bard/fighter who idolizes the Ulfen Guard (even met one!). Very intrigued by their tales of the frozen north and the magics that exist up there, but is fairly despondent about the impossibility of him ever going there (lol). Uses his natural knack for inspiration and basic illusions to stage "battles" with other young adults in Heldren against the "vile witches of Irrisen". Adaptive Magic trait.
-Paladin of Iomedae who does his best to exemplify humility. Living in Taldor, he sees firsthand how much arrogance and pride can lead to one's downfall. Fights with a simple spear because he doesn't believe he's worthy of a sword.

2 people marked this as a favorite. |
I'm starting the campaign off in Numeria. One of the players is going to be a barbarian chieftain, while the other players will be his three wives, each one representing an aspect of the Triple Goddess. The maiden is a fiery-tempered sorceress, the mother is an exiled winter witch, and the crone is an oracle of bones. The fifth player is either going to be the clan's wise man (a bear druid), or an android rogue who is the barbarian's "brother." :D

A bit of a change to the characters so far:
A changeling Winter Witch.
A Spellblade Magus
A Witch Hunter Inquisitor
A Cavalier (looking like Emissary?)
A Dwarf Ranger with the Blood of Giants trait, going a for a 5 foot tall dwarf. Possible PrC into Horizon Walker. There has been some talk that this might be a good AP to showcase a Horizon Walker.

Oh my gosh the changes!
Changeling witch stays the same with the warded against witchery trait
Half elf Spellblade Hexcrafter Magus with the Failed winter witch apprentice feat
Armored Hulk Barbarian with the vigilante witch hunter feat (going for superstitious, and witch hunter rage powers and theme)
a Cleric or Druid (trying to figure out if there are bonuses to any channeling alts that might be fun)
And the Dwarf ranger with giant blood going for horizon walker.... sigh.
They are beginning to drive me nuts.
If they dont stop. Everyone will play a halfling of a randomly determined class.

As a long time GM running an AP for the first time, I'm excited to see these heroes learn the true meaning of cold.
Rakshasa blooded tiefling Dawnflower Dervish bard (raised by a priest before being sold as a slave to a Chelaxian noble)
Human Mysterious Stranger gunslinger (Rookie Alkenstari shield marshal wannabe tracking killer of his master)
Half Elf Huntmaster Cavalier (Using Order of the wolf cavalier order from SGG has a wolf companion)
Samsaran Thassilonian Wizard of Envy (one of his past lives was during the witchwar, and has the feeling something is coming)
Tim Bürgers |
We play RoW with a very small group (three characters). I will DM the AP.
Because we are so few players, I will also run a character. To prevent myself from (subconsciously?) abusing my knowledge of the challenges to come I created my character with all decisions for all levels before reading anything except for the Player's Guide.
Maybe this will help some of you who have similar problems (i.e. few players or often stuck with DMing).
Group consists of...
...a quite plain-vanilla dwarven fighter, who focuses quite strongly on defense.
...a human cleric of Asmodeus with the fire-domain and a strong focus on channeling and spells (i.e. weak in melee).
...and a dread gnome sorcerer with the sanguine-bloodline.
zergtitan |
Zerg, what level are you starting out at?
I'm going to try to start them at level one, though I don't actually let my group play an AP until after its entirety is released so that i can explore and develop subplots to the best extent without messing up the storyline for everyone.
Their is also the fact that many of the items I stated earlier are malleable and can change depending on the treasure load in the AP. they are not going to have all their additional items till later, depending on the character.
Hansels guns are probably going to be scattered across the AP, Blunderbus will be given by a resistance member. might just start him with only his magic pistols. the rest of the items are going to be scattered pieces, for example I'm planning to replace his boots with the cloak of the yeti from the first adventure.
Yuki is going to start with her dagger and gain the rest of her items along with any witch related magic item during the course of the AP.
Birgun and Yort are going to have all their items at first, but the lance and the horn are not going to find a spotlight in Game play until the 3rd part of the AP.
and Yort might be replaced with a different character that might fit better with both the gameplay and how the heck they were in Heldren when this winter started along with having some skill with fire weaponry. I'm thinking maybe an oracle of flame with the blackend curse or a goblin fire bomber alchemist.
Oracle: "Feel the Fires of Summer which you have forsaken!"
Goblin: "Hey wanna play a game of catch it's fun." (in sing-song voice) "I burn you, you freeze me, we are one big family."
Gluttony |
I'm the GM, the group are currently working on Rise of the Runelords, but Reign of Winter characters are starting to appear as well:
Male LG Dwarf Cleric (Forgemaster Archetype)
Male NG Undine Druid (Undine Adept Archetype)
Female CN Ifrit Sorcerer (Wishcrafter Archetype, Elemental [Fire] Bloodline)
Female LN Human Wizard (Conjurer, Infernal Binder Subschool, Aiming to be a Blackfire Adept)
...The Ifrit and Undine are siblings at odds with each other, and the entire group's a spellcasting one. I'm looking forward to it.

Hope it's not too late to post in this thread. It just made more sense to post here than to start another one.
Started a new gaming group! We are going to start with Reign of Winter (hopefully, that's a good idea).
The characters are coming along, and as soon as everyone's happy and finished, we'll figure out a day to start (ha ha).
We have a female gnome winter witch with a white owl familiar,
a male halfling fighter (slinger Dexterity type),
a male catfolk ranger who resembles a Canadian Lynx,
and someone insisted on playing the iconic inquisitor, Imrijka, but with the Ice subdomain instead of the Repose domain, to fit with the theme better.
Everybody's pouring over all the traits and feats over the weekend to get their background to make sense.
Tangent101 |
My group started out in its own game world and is switching over to Golorian through the Winter Portal. Thus we have a few... oddities due to religions in my world.
PCs:
Half-elf Ranger
Half-elf Cleric/Wizard (Generalist)
Human Rogue
Gnome* Fighter/Wizard (Transmuter)
NPCs:
Human Paladin of the Goddess of Death and Healing
Human Sorcerer (Destined)/Druid (hates her sorcerer talents)
*The character wants to be riding around inside a golem. I decided to fudge things a bit with the rules; he's in a Full Plate suit of Mithral armor that has clockwork and is close to being alive - it transmits damage to the rider and when it is healed so is the rider. In essence, I crafted it with my player with rules assuming it is a human inside normal armor (and the gnome can't use any gnomish talents when in it). The fact he's actually a gnome is for flavour purposes - and no one in the group knows this yet.
As you can tell from the footnote, mine is an interesting group. You see, I started out running a variant AD&D game (a combination of 3rd edition stats and 2nd edition spells, classes and races) because I refused to go into 4th edition... and was going to run my group through Night Below. Then I met our third player at work and she fairly new to roleplaying. I realized that hybrid rules would be too confusing to her. But there were no 3rd ed. D&D books (even used) to be found. I was told about Pathfinder, was brushing it off, and noticed everything was included in one rulebook. So as a whim I picked it up and... was hooked.
The first game my new player was in was spent revising characters (fortunately the stats already were situated for 3rd ed so it wasn't completely hectic). And a fourth player joined over Skype a little after that who chose to play the gnome in oversized armor... but I'd realized the game was dragging because I was busy revising everything from Night Below and old Dungeon Magazines.
Gluttony's depiction of Reign of Winter (even with just a short bit) combined with the fact the setting provides a means of going to a new world (I'm having the portal going to my world instead of another part of Golarion) inspired me to snag them and bring them into this world instead. While they're at the edge of the max level for the first book (3rd to 4th level), I'm just increasing the difficulty level of many of the encounters so it won't be a cakewalk and will quickly get tougher.
Story Archer |
The party we're putting together, right now, looks something like this:
.
.
.
Human 1st level Unbreakable Fighter / 16th level Urban Barbarian & Invulnerable Rager
High DR and a reach weapon makes him a serious tank and he has a solid collection of skills as well.
Female Human 2nd level Urban Barbarian / 15th level Weapon Master (Bow)
The sister of the character above, she's absolutely deadly with a bow but offers little else.
Human 17th level Knifemaster
Skill expert and assassin-type.
Female Kitsune 17th level Sorcerer (Fey/Sylvan Bloodline)
A nod to the 'fey' aspect of the campaign, will probably have a Bear as an animal companion or perhaps a unique fey-type creature that uses the stats for one of the dinosaurs (there are no true dinosaurs in our campaigns).
We're going to be light on healing and battlefield control but it should be a blast regardless... and since it will be a while before we start, none of this is set in stone.
Blue_Hill |
I'm planning on playing human/half-elf inquisitor of Gozreh. Idea for this comes from Dresden Files series, character known as Summer Knight. Gozreh sends his newest knight to face forces of eternal winter, sound pretty neat? I'll probably take Fey Foundling feat for roleplaying purposes and let GM decide if there is some secrets to be revealed..
Misroi |
The party I'm running through consists of:
Elf (Arctic) Rogue - not sure why she's headed into Heldren, but wandered here anyway.
Human (Ulfan) Magus - the only one who's a native of Heldren. He has a six year old daughter, who followed him into town, but is now being watched by the innkeeper and her husband. (His desire to return to his daughter will be a great conflict once they receive the Black Rider's geas!)
Ifrit Oracle (Battle) - a maimed veteran of the Worldwound, he's come north to leave that world behind. Took the lame curse, and wears heavy armor. His 15' move speed will surely not be a problem in the snows to come.
Human (Varisian) Wildblooded Sorcerer (Sage) - a culture junkie, enjoys travelling and chronicling his experiences there. He sports several tattoos, including the bastardization of the Wrath sigil that the Varisians use in their spell tattoos around his eyes.
This group is also running through Kingmaker, so Heldren is a day and a half north of Tatzlford, with the winter portal about two days northeast of the town. Everyone entered town from different directions, and met up at The Lady. After learning about the wintry conditions, they were alerted to the abduction of Lady Svetlana. Poor girl keeps getting kidnapped and/or assassinated!
LogantheBard |
My party is (4 first timers!):
Half-Orc Druid - Lion pet. Very "kill first, investigate later"
Aasimar Fighter - Based loosely on Sophitia from Soul Caliber. The party's even-tempered face.
Dwarf Ranger - Mounted style (dog companion) on a St. Bernard. Letting the rule of cool to let him ride the animal that's technically too small for him. Aggressive and short tempered.
Half-Elf Sorceror - Efreeti Bloodline. This character still hasn't come into a personality yet.
Fetchling Winter Witch - Going for Winter Witch PrC. This is the only PC who's somewhat experienced. She's doing a pretty decent job as a blaster/debuffer.
Necrovox |
Hopefully this thread isn't too old by now to post my current group:
20pt build, no races 10pts or more (I loathe aasimars) 5 players.
-Taldan Ranger with two weapon fighting. He wants to use a bastard sword in mh and throwing axes in off. Originally was going to be a dishonored chellaxian noble looking for something to do to redeem his own sense of honor. But he decided he's saving that back story for skull in shackles.
-Changeling Druid from Irresen. When she got the call she fled with her reindeer. she hasn't told me exactly why she's in Taldor, but i'm sure she'll flesh it out.
-Witch Hunter Inquisitor?
-Gunslinger? He wanted to play a musket master because optimization guide said it was good. He keeps qqing about cost of guns and ammo though, already knowing that I tend to cut back on some of the loot.
-Sylph Stormborn Sorceror. No story yet, but I think he wants to cause an avalanche at least once. To quote him,
-and I intend to use Nadya as an NPC past Whitethrone.
Ansel Krulwich |
Had our first session today:
15 point buy, 6 players, I've allowed all core races and most humanoid-looking races.
Kalo - Erutaki Clouded-vision Winter Oracle - "Guided by his tribe by signs and portents they claimed meant he was to be their next Seer, and marked by the north with the Sight, Kalo floundered in his position for years before abandoning his people." He'll be multiclassing and picking up levels of winter witch starting at 2nd level. He's passing through Heldren at the story's beginning.
Aurelia - Taldan Spell-less Ranger from Heldren - Familiar with the Border Wood from hunting there regularly, she's noticed a drastic change in the weather and available game.
Samir al-Katheeri - Qadiran (secret, sssh...) Cleric of Sarenrae from Heldren - "6 years ago he was a new initiate into the Cult of the Dawnflower, and came over the border on a raid with a small party. Upon arrival near Heldren, he saw signs of Sarenrae worship in the area. Conflicted, he argued for ending the raid lest they undo the tenuous foothold the faith had gained there. The rest of the party, being more zealous in their loyalty to the satrap than the Dawnflower, disagreed. Another running fight broke out at the edge of the town, ending when Samir narrowly managed to drive the others away. He then dismounted and surrendered to the locals, though he did not reveal that he was a priest." After a stay of execution and a brief stay in prison, he's been a resident of Heldren ever since and mostly keeps to himself.
Ezri - Halfling Beast Rider Cavalier of the North. Originally from the Realms of the Mammoth Lords, she may be small in size but her bravery is unbounded. She's travelled around the world and is now seeking to build herself a new "tribe" of her own.
Nixie - Sylph Winter Witch. It's hard to say who kidnapped who. Ezri insists she made Nixie the first new member of her "tribe". Nixie insists she's drafted the halfling to go travel south because... Hey. Why not? Don't ask her where she's from--she'll forget what she was talking about halfway through her sentence and then go off and try to eavesdrop in on someone else's conversation HEY LOOK A BIRD!
Ragnarr - Ulfen Two-handed Weapon Fighter from Andoran. Seeker of adventure and the most recent member of Ezri's "tribe". He's loyal and trusting, almost certainly to a fault.
pH unbalanced |
My players have just created their characters, we'll be starting the adventure in two weeks. Believe it or not, these characters were made without the players knowing what AP I was going to run -- they just added the campaign trait on top. We've got three plus a DMPC.
Undine Watersinger Bard with the Vigilante Witch Hunter trait
Elven Beastmaster Cavalier with the Warded against Witchery trait (and the goal of having a Polar Bear mount)
Human Cleric of Sarenrae with the Restless Wayfarer trait
I'm not sure what I'll do for the DMPC, but I'm leaning towards an Ulfen Viking Fighter with the Northern Ancestry trait.
Altus Lucrim |
We have
1. A Human Wasting Oracle of Winter(wasting is a severe case of Frostbite)
2. An Aasimar, Gold Dragon bloodline Sorcerer/Fig/Dragon Disciple
3. A ape man Arctic Druid, from the Mwangi Expanse
4. A Ulfen Human Barbarian (Does the Viking thing)
5. A Halfling Necromancer
6. A Qadiran Rogue, who is a spy in Taldor.

Our party:
Mordakai the Grim (N male Human (chelaxian) Druid) tall, pale and thin with dark hair, animal companion is an albino horse
Demos Fellsmoke (LN hell-spawn tiefling evoker) unusual features are casts no shadow and glowing eyes
Daffodil Oakleaf (NG female elven Ranger) designed as a female Legolas, dec 20 so she'll do fine:)
Maev (N female half-orc Fighter) a two weapon fighter, whenever anyone asks her full name she just says curtly "just maev."
an odd group for sure, should make Baba Yaga proud.
devilfluff RPG Superstar 2014 Top 32 |
Marcellano Kain |
Well, although I wanted to DM this campaign, I ended up running in it as a player, and not a pyromaniac as I originally planned!
Instead, I'm a former Cheliax Navy Pirate Hunter from the Shackles. Kind of an odd type of character for this campaign but its working out really well so far! (Stats in profile)
Even found myself a Masterwork Rifle (The DM made firearms more common in his world)
The Drunken Dragon |
I'm DMing this, but when i heard of it the first thing i wanted to do is play a Jadwiga Winter Witch named Yuri, whose actually fairly high up on the food chain (being 3rd or 4th generation Jadwiga Elvanna) who left Irrisen after his mother displeased Elvanna, and he barely escaped alive. As such, my players thus far have given me a gunslinger, a human ranger, and one whose playing a witch, but uncertain yet of what kind.
Zhangar |
My campaign will be a long ways off - probably spring of next year, depending on when the current campaign finishes. So I'll be eventually updating this post with more detail.
But it currently looks like my PCs will be playing:
1) female changeling oracle of the Dark Tapestry. Most developed of the PCs so far; looks like a Jadwiga, has a custom curse (I wrote up heavy duty synesthesia as an oracle curse), and was raised by Alexios Demetri and Lycos Vallant, the richest men in Heldren. Has no idea in character what she actually is, and has never heard mommy's call.
2) female kitsune witch; her grandparents are escaped slaves from Irrisen; they and six other kitsune came all the way south to Taldor, where they settled down, took up a cover identity as varisians, and founded a clan near Heldren. Apprentice to Mother Theodora.
3) male human inquisitor of Cayden Calleum with the black powder inquisition and preacher archetype, hailing the all the way from Alkenstar. Crossed the sea over to Qadira and has been steadily making his way north. Will just happen to have been staying in Heldren for a week or so when all hell breaks loose.
4) half-orc ranger, using the two-handed weapon style. May have been found by the kitsune clan mentioned under #2 as a feral child and raised by them.
5) An arcane duelist bard. The player is DMing our current Sunday game and just recently moved, so he hasn't had much chance to look at stuff or mention more than the class.
StrangePackage |
We started about a month ago, and are nearing the end of the first book (according to the GM).
We are:
Aroven Devereaux- NG Human Wizard - A native of Heldren, Aroven's grandfather returned from his days as a mercenary with a strange, pale bride from frozen Irrisen. Aroven showed great magical aptitude from his earliest days, and has only recently returned to Heldren with his wife and young child from one of Oparra's preeminent Arcane institutions. Together they run a small shop where he functions as a scribe and a cartographer. He favors his grandmother a great deal, with shocking white hair and pale blue eyes.
Thorgrim Amadeo- CG Human Fighter (Viking)- Thorgrim owes both his name and his enormous size and hearty constitution to his maternal grandfather, Old Man Grim. Old Man Grim was an Ulfen Guard to a Taldan Arch Duke, who setteled in Heldren as a blacksmith after his term of service was over. Thorgrim is a mountain of a man, hardened by years working in his grandfather's forge, and has been trained from an early age by his grandfather in the fine Ulfen arts of Axe and Shield. Despite his size and furious demeanor, Thorgrim usually remains soft-spoken.
Jamaal al'Khair- NG Human Cleric of Sarenrae- Jamaal was adopted by Elder Natharen when it became clear that his father, a caravan drover and reformed scoundrel with whom Natharen had adventured in their youth, was not to return from a perilous trip to distant Irrisen. Under Natharen's tutelage, Jamaal turned his keen mind to theological pursuits, and in time found himself called to the Dawnflower. Jamaal takes great pains to keep his faith from the public eye, though his step-father knows and supports him in his endeavors. Jamaal is helpful, earnest, and always keen to mediate problems whenever they arise.
Nathaniel and Gwenievre Blanchette- CG Human Ranger and Rogue, respectively- The Blanchette twins settled in Heldren roughly twelve years ago with their entire family. As twins, the two are inseparable. They both have a pale skin that never seems to sunburn or tan and their eyes are as crystal blue. Their blonde hair is almost white. Both move with a lithe grace that few others can match. Having grown up in Heldren, they seem to be friends with everyone, even with their penchant for mischievousness. But as much as they are alike, they are just as different. Gwen often comes up with 'nefarious' schemes to carry out while the more reserved Nate has taken, only slightly, to the woods and has been apprenticed to a woodsman half an hour's walk from their parents' cottage.
I play Jamaal, and have started to chronicle the party's adventure. It's a pretty great group, and a lot of fun so far.
captain yesterday |
Ok we got our party made
Kali Revenge (CG human (chelish) magus (hexcrafter archetype) real last name is Drovenge but recently ran out on her commitment as a Hellknight Signifier
Daffodil Oakleaf (CG elven ranger)
Ciro Oakleaf (NG elven alchemist)
both took part in battles vs Treerazer's minions, their younger sister was recently kidnapped by winter witches, with Ciro barely escaping himself, they have been searching for their younger sister, having recently been following what they assume is a witch (Kali)
Galileo Quartzhammer (CG dwarven Oracle (stargazer archetype) heavens mystery, haunted curse
has all sorts of crack pot ideas, like that he insists Elves were originally aliens. despite being haunted and a little crazy tries to maintain a neat and civilized facade. came to Heldren recently to build an observatory but realized he didnt have any skills to do it (he is more of a big picture sort of guy) has been pestering a couple of elfves that came to town recenty hoping to utilize their alien intelligence to build his observatory.
a couple of thoughts on the group.
i thought of dubbing them the Mensa Crusaders, both because everyone is good and except for Galileo everyone has int of 19 (Kali, Daffodil) or 20 (Ciro) Galileo has int 10.
our melee heavy hitter is Kali (magus)
the face is a Dwarf who has a Cha 14 is the highest.
finally, concerning Daffodil and Ciro, my 9 year old daughter is the one that came up with the idea on hers and her brothers character (he is 2 and plays via proxy and is very good at rolling dice) considering her starting idea for a character was "like Legolas except a girl" i think she did a splendid job. we are also working on a way to tie in her younger sister into the overall arc of the campaign, so far we think she was used in the ritual to imprison Baba Yaga and the only way to bring her back is by freeing Baba Yaga.
Zhangar |
My party is mostly made.
Malyk Kaspeale Euphram - CN aasimar (angelkin) bard (arcane duelist) 1
Devana Verammani - NG kitsune witch 1
Svetlana Demetri - LG changeling (green widow) oracle of the dark tapestry 1
Dahrehn Adir Barathus - CG human inquisitor (preacher with black powder inquisition) of Cayden Callien 1
We might have a 1/2 ranger (spirit guide), but the player is still undecided.
We were actually going to start the campaign today, but had to cancel due to freezing rain and snow.
So yeah, our RoW campaign is delayed by inclement weather.
Luna eladrin |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
My group consists of:
Aleksej: NG human bard (basically a Russian ballet dancer)
Anastacia: N human rogue (plans to be a ranger/rogue), Aleksej's twin sister
K'wanda B'nana: NE human rogue (plans to be a fighter/rogue)
Vladimir Volshebnin: CG human sorcerer (with an ermine familiar called Medvedev)
Zikimo Talib: N human druid (with his wolf Chikuk)
Luna eladrin |
It is even more funny if you know that the player has political ambitions (in Irrisen) for this character. Also he does not pray to any god, because 'religion is opium for the people'.
'Volshebnik' means 'sorcerer' in Russian, but my player changed it to 'Volshebnin', since 'all Russian dictators have a name ending on '-in'.
The player (who is a 'she', by the way) has already told me that perhaps her character will not remain chaotic good. She sees him as a naive idealist who will get 'wiser' (and more ruthless) as the campaign progresses.
