I'll back the Logue and the Agresta in a drink or two (or many more). I think that's the least I can offer to help assure they comes back to the Cons.

My grandmother's maiden name was Wallace, decendent of William, although it is believed there is some Bruce blood in the family also as we trace the line through James VI. Nice wedding photos. You would get my wife jealous that we could not afford such finery at the time.

Tis true! Pett DID manage to soil Greg Vaughan - I was most impressed by this feat. Leave it to a filthy Englishman to get a down-home apple-pie shining-beacon-of-virtue country boy like Vaughan to turn to drink.
I'd buy that calender by the way. Greg is dreamy. And I'm sure the size of Pett's organ defies reason. He seems like he could impregnate you from across the room. Just with his rakish gaze!
At least FGG now has their next idea for kickstarter.

That would be most excellent! We shall have to throw the bones together. I don't throw the bones enough these days. Well I do, actually, but I haven't played a dice game in a while. I just hurl people's bones around my man-cave with abandon.
Running a game tomorrow night and very much looking forward to it.
I'm also going to start running some adventures along the Razor again, when I get back to Hawaii. I shall try to keep you all posted as I devour PCs with glee!

This conversation has turned my thoughts to the well known propensity for human bones to be found from time to time in a shark's stomach.
Did you know that a shark's stomach can be everted: turned inside out and expelled from the mouth to rid it indigestible material? This is apparently how they prevent too much clogging with PC parts.

Congrats on your Kickstarter! I am so excited that we are going to see this almost mythical book that has been hidden away for so many years. I have always loved the mad scribblings on one Nicolas Logue and this one should be epic!
A big thanks to you guys for taking on this project. It would have been very sad if Razor Coast had never seen the light of day like so many products from D&D's past. But you guys are using your deity like powers to make sure Razor Coast sees the light of day, just like you did with Slumbering Tsar, Rappan Athuk and the Tome of Horrors. Frog God rocks as well - they have rescued this gigantic tome from its accursed doldrums and put wind in her sails. Most excited that Razor Coast has been given this opportunity.

Now that I know that Nick was from the NC coast the general outline of the map for Razor Coast makes a bit more sense.
Subtract the barrier islands... and you have a map of the Inner Banks. Unless this was subliminal. But I doubt much is subliminal for Mr. Logue.
I remember visiting on a family vacation as a kid. Three things stood out: the mosquitos (the only things that had them beat were the black flies in Quebec), Kitty Hawk and...
CROATOAN.
I spent a considerable length of time pondering the disappearance of the colonists. Since I was playing CoC at the time, the scenarios were pretty gruesome or unsettling.
Too bad they hadn't found the Revenge yet then.

Yep the Outer Banks are full of mysteries and dark secrets. I've always loved em. They had a big influence on the Razor.
The other dollop of influence is the Hawaiian islands and a sprinkling of the rest of Polynesia, especially during the whaling boom and the rise of the plantations. Dark times.

Upped my pledge to add another book and some character pads. I wanted to get a S&W copy but then I remembered one of my friends making the mistake of saying that he wanted to try GMing and maybe doing a pirate themed campaign as something different. So even though it looks like I'm getting a copy as a gift for him, I really have ulterior motives which is ok as I hardly ever get to play as a PC (and I really want to try out a changling witch/gunslinger). Also, I want this thing funded so we can start digging for treasure!
On another note, now that you have Vaughn's "Slumbering Tsar" out and you're working on Logue's (with Lou Agresta) "Razor Coast" any plans to finish this trilogy of terror with an opus from Mr. Pett? A "Pettopus?"

I just gotta come out and say it though. $110 seems quite high for a 256 page book. Hell I think Rappan Athuk ran that and it was nearly 4x the size. Paizo books typically run $40 for the print/pdf. Am I missing something here :/ Maybe as stretch goals are reached the pot will get a little sweeter but still...wow. This will easily be the most expensive 256 page book to date wouldn't it?

When you aren't printing the volume that Paizo and bigger publishers print, full-color hardcover books cost a LOT per unit. And that's just for the printing. You also need to pay the artists, the writers, the editors, the layout...
Having just gone through a bunch of different vendor quotes on color hardcover printing costs, I'm not surprised at the price point. Especially considering if FGG gets above threshold, extra goodies are likely to get kicked in. And those stitch-bound bindings that FGG does are a premium quality upgrade.
I'm not trying to speak for Bill or the Frogs here, I can just tell you as someone not attached to the project but who has experience with printing costs, the cost of full-color, hardcover, quality printing in runs of less than a few thousand is fairly high per unit.

I was also surprised at the cost and the level of the fund goal. I pledged for the Savage Worlds Land of Fire Kickstarter. That was an Arabian style campaign full color 192 page hardback book and for approx $ 61 you got the book plus PDF and a couple of extra PDF ' s ( players guides, adventure etc ).
Their goal was only $15,000.00 ( they only just made it - yes savage worlds vs pathfinder makes a big difference but still)
Plus their PDF players guide was only $11 so I was able to cajole and bribe with in game benefits my players to each buy one.
FGG doesn't seem to have a players guide PDF level and at $30 plus overseas postage the book doesn't have the same appeal.
I know from a distance you can't accurately compare one project with another as to quality of binding etc and I am sure FGG has done the math. This isn't meant as a criticism at all, each product is different and I am sure this one will be great.
