Although I appreciate the gesture, the masterwork armor doesn't help me. I have the Armor Expert trait. She will benefit from it more than I. Maybe we can get it hemmed up?

A Take 10 on climb is allowed. Yes - as it stands - at the moment Toren isn't even getting up a knotted rope - but shedding some weight / the Tower shield might help a lot.

If I leave my shield I am at a -1 to climb, if I leave my backpack and take the shield I'm at a -4, if I leave both I'm at 2.

I have a potion of clw that I started with but I didn't take the one off the enforcer. I just assumed the monkey looted everything that wasn't passed off to others.

I just realized that this game has overtaken my First Steps Part II (I'm a player there) this morning in number of posts done.

I should add - the First Steps Part II did start January 17.

I think with slower posting also comes less total posts - I guess we will be done by the time we reach 350 in that game.

Not evil, just the biggest tease. Also, does confirming a critical apply against his defensive fighting AC or normal AC. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer but... well, he swung on me!

I had three options:

a) normal attack - no change in AC - no change in attack roll

b) defensive - +2 AC for a -4 attack

c) fully defensive - +4 AC

I went for b) as he wanted to ensure he is still threatening you. It did cost him his hit - but saved him from the critical.

Moving too far ahead can be dangerous. Luckily it seems Tal not only is fast - he also made his Acrobatics check. We will see how it plays out.

Yes I am a bit perplexed as well. It would be helpful for me if we indicate which round we are in during attacks. The post scroll so fast yet, I feel like Priscilla has not really had a chance to act.

Second round actions:

Tal swung and missed on guard 1
Toren took a move action
guard 2 caught up and flanked/staggered me
guard 1 finished me off but was staggered himself so KO'd in the process
Markus just went casting true strike
Captain This is where turn resolution currently is (yet to appear or act)
Chanix death save is a 9 which takes him to -9hp (1 away from dying)
Priscilla (yet to act)
Artemis uses bow attack but likely misses

That's how I read it

round 1:

Everyone but Tal and maybe Markus spent round 1 climbing.
Chanix initiated battle with guard 1.
Tal caught up to the battle with double move.
Guard 2 appears.
Markus throws a dagger at Guard 2.
Everyone else is climbing or not acting (Captain)

Stabilize has a long range and is a better option than the monkey feeding Chanix a potion.

If I may say so for my sake, the monkey had to spend a move to get to me and a standard to get the potion. So, technically Grigo's turn is over for now. Stabilize is the better option (and more immediate if this is her round 2 action)if Priscilla can get within 30'.
