Need some advice on goblin!

Advice

I will start a new Pathfinder game soon and my DM agreed to let me play a Goblin, something I was very eager to do since I got my hands on the book Goblin of Galarion. However,I am unsure of how I should build it.I decide to be a Goblin Figther who would use many Improvise weapon. Problem is,I keenly know Improvise weapon really dont add well at hight level, since I probably will use magical weapon.I was thinking of using the Cab achetype, but, I am not sure the DM will let me do combat maneaver all the time. Basicly,I would like to keep the fighting style of Goblin in my character.Anybody have advice?

The goblin ranger favored class ability is extremely powerful if you are fighting a particular type of enemy or get to level 11 (instant enemy spell)

I see.

It sounds like the Empty handed monk might work for you.

Me say fire!

Me Chiggo. Me successfully survive We Be Goblins (barely). Me very drunk often and carry metal jug of fire drink and torch. Me know how to spit fire drink into torch fire at enemies. If no fire drink left, me kick bad guy in the squishies so he go stoopids, then hit him with jug.

Me not very optimal, but me fun to play.

We Be Goblins stuff:
Me very annoyed that no bad guys in adventure have squishies.

I actualy plan to use the catch off-guard feat and two weapon fighting to use a dog slicer and a torch. Combine whit monkey grip so I cna use them once size larger.

Use lots of fire....fire more fire. When your done burning everything kill and eat a dog....then burn it.

I know about fire and stuff,I do read the books^^ However,I would like some game advice, feat and such.

I don't know about the torch idea, I forsee a great many checks to see if you've burned yourself in the future.

Making a Barbarian and going down the Elemental Rage rage power tree might work better for you, or you could take a level of Sorcerer. Even if you only put a couple of points into Charisma that will still allow you unlimited castings of Flare and Spark, as well as a couple castings of Burning Hands.

Its not super optimal but you could play a synthesis summoner and take energy attacks for fire.

Anyway being small and having -2 str is going to hurt you a lot in the damage area. I would definatly take the roll with it goblin feat though and the feat that lets you stand up as a free action.

Edit - found the stand feat. Ki stand.....so nevermind.

Hmm....meaby a sorcerer be better....I am unsure.I see what the other in myn groups are playing and take a class that will make the group more versatile.

I played the goblin alchemist in We Be Goblins and it seemed to fit pretty well, with lots of throwing fire and burning and fire and burning and fire and oh, yeah, where was I? I am pretty sure you can use melee builds with that class if you want to play a fighter type but I'm never had one outside that module so I'm not a good person to ask for general alchemist advice.

I am currently playing a goblin ranger archer riding on a small cat. Goblins are awesome for this with their massive dex. Also the bonus to ride and stealth are nice. High movement of the cat helps you stay away from monsters while doing full attacks each round. Bonus points if you can convince your DM to let your cat trade sprint for a climb speed (more like a leopard instead of a cheetah). Then you can climb tall things so bad guys can't attack you while you kill them with arrows.

I will throw my stat sunday,so,I start whit them, and see what I can do^^also,I know a Alchemist would be awesome, however,I allready play two in my other Pathfiner game,so,I wanted to try somethign else.

Goblin Fighter/Rogue with Weapon Finesse (take advantage of that +4 Dex) and two weapon fighting, relying on Sneak Attack for extra damage?

Improvised weapon fightering is fantastic. Just ask your GM if he could count "Catch Off-Guard" as the proficiency requirement for weapon focus and specialization and you'll be able to do just fine on damage.

If you're worried about bad guys with DR, just use your magic weapons as improvised ones for the flavor. Yes, hitting someone with a longsword by bonking them with the hilt and holding the pointy end will probably do 1d6 instead of 1d8 (club damage) but it lets you be creative with what type of damage (slash, bludg, pierc) and it's just very gobliny.

Make sure you check with your GM to see if using a magic weapon as an improvised one would still count as magic. Likewise... an adamantine fork? maybe d2 + STR, but it hurts golems!!!

that remind me when I was using a silver comb again a vampire!^^but, your right^^your Idea of focusing on improvising might be very fun to do,I ask my DM about it. Also,do you think the Cab be a good mix whit it?It actualy give bonus when using improvise weapon, event boost thier critical! (19-20 /x2)

Another option for at least standing up without provoking is Monkey Style, you would need to have Improved Unarmed Strike & 5 ranks in Climb & Acrobatics but it is still a pretty sweet combo with Roll with It in my opinion.

I dont think he let me use that feet.I might abuse it^^

The Improvised Weapon Mastery feat is just a must have for this little guy. I think it's what... +7 or +8 BAB required?

Also! If your big boss man will let you Weapon Focus into Improvised weapons, look into Shatter Defenses/Deadly Strike

That's the one that dous double damage and Con bleed when you hit someone flat-footed, right?

Because the Improvised weapon feat (Catch Off Guard) includes one AWESOME caveat: If you hit someone with an improvised weapon and they are unarmed, they count as flat-footed.

So basically, if you hit the evil wizard with a bench, he's gonna be a little surprised.

A goblin urban barbarian can have up to a 26 dex at level one while raging. Take agile maneuvers as a feat, maybe combat expertise, improved initiative, and go to town on tripping, steal, dirty tricks, disarms and grapples or even bull rushes while they are still flatfooted and can't get attacks of opportunity.

Strength surge is also a good option as a rage power for added effectiveness, (wording allows you to add your level to Combat maneuvers). Beast totem allows you to get claw attacks and eventually pounce, so its a great option.

Thank you all for your advice^^However,du to some unforcseen event,I wont be able to participate in the game of Pathfinder I was tlaking about. However,I will use your advice on my next one^^
