Well I kinds guess that suggests certain thing Merisiel is in too.
It's the "who did this to this person, why did they do this, and what are they trying to get out of it?" Not to mention, "why don't they show themselves?"

They actually don't pass in front of your eyes; they kinda float around the upper part of your head so you never actually see them, really.

Taking the second question first, Valeros would win because when he calls for friends to help him he gets an answer.
As for the first question, I would hardly call anything associated with either of those two "cute." That's a good way to get beat up.
