For about a year, a good three or four times a week at the least, I was either directly (found, fixed, identified, confirmed, called for fire support, and then laser designated) or indirectly (found, fixed, identified, confirmed and then reported existance and location) responsible for someone's father, husband, son, brother, uncle, or friend not coming home again.
Ignoring the justifications, the necessity thereof, or even the fact that if I were to do it all over again I most definitely would, I still adhere to my own personal belief that there is something immensely sacred about life and the majestic glory that it is, and that the taking of a life, any life, is something to be approached with the utmost care, even in times of conflict or dealing with such animals as mass murderers, etc.
Interestingly, I don't have the slightest amount of squeemishness about stabbing an ogre in the face and then rifling through his pockets for loose change. Orcs even less so.

Watch it buddy, I'm not sure how meaty tiger paws are, but I'm willing to give 'em a taste.

I kill things every week. Sometimes I eat them. Other times it's to advance human knowledge.
You'd really be amazed how similar a still warm heart sounds like a ripe apple when someone bites into it after ripping it out fresh. ;)

We the people, in order to fill our bellies, do hereby ordain and establish: FAT CAT SEASON! No quota, no limits! Shoot to maim, we don't care. Just eat them all!
Great. My cat's kinda scrawny. Why couldn't it be SKINNY CAT SEASON??? (Looks in mirror) Wait a sec ... O.O

Just walked the dog. Considering what I just stepped in you may want to select a different slice of the ol' tiger to nom on.
