So, I think I may be done asking women out forever now. Did something a couple of hours ago that I don't think I can recover from.
So, as it turns out, the universe seems to hate me when it comes to asking people out on dates. Either that, or I'm just an unlikable person when it comes to the opposite sex. Regardless of the reason, I have a horrible, horrible streak of luck when it comes to getting people to go out with me. That's without figuring in me overcoming my own anxiety. However, this sometimes leads to me.... Missing some key details.
So, long story short.... I just asked out someone on the same day they got proposed to.
It lead to a quick rejection, I'm sure, but was anything really lost? Even on the day one gets engaged, it's still flattering to get hit on.

In weather news, they have now issued a blizzard warning for the area, and say we may get up to a foot of heavy, wet snow. This is clearly all Freehold's fault, and I will deliver an appropriate punishment as soon as I can arrange the ultimate Whedon/Brown mashup.
But you have to make him see it... Perhaps put it on every billboard in his area, and on every radio/TV station? Make it such an event that even Freeholds friends can't stop talking about it to him.

Sorry, all I see are faceless blobs. It helps me remain objective. Also, I had my glasses off, and without them I can see like 3 inches before everything becomes faceless blobs.

If I could pull off the ultimate Whedon/Brown mashup, I would gladly fly to New York, kidnap Freehold by promising him Bonchon and bubble tea, and force him to watch it over and over Clockwork Orange style.

Whedon and Brown taking each other on in a fight to the death sounds wonderful.
Here, have more snow.

El Nino Winter Cap'n Yesterday |

Usually, with our weather in February, they'll have the really nice days in the 7 day forecast at the end of the forecast. Then spend the whole month pushing it back, it's incredibly frustrating! This year, it's the opposite, it's been really nice the last week, every time I look at the 7 day forecast, there's temps in the 20s, just waiting at the end of the forecast. Yet, every day I look and it's pushed back another day.
I love you, El Nino winter!

Pretty much the same is happening here. Fairly consistent 60s/50s highs and 50s/40s lows. They keep predicting dipping into the 30s and 20s at night, but every time I check, it's been moved back. =D

How is driving in the rain different, I mean other then having to use wipers, I love driving in the rain. :-)
It's extremely different. The road is slicker, meaning among other things you have to brake sooner to avoid skidding and you can't take as sharp of turns or make many sudden actions. Vision is obscured, which makes it harder to see things around you, especially at night. And those are just the first couple to jump to mind, there's many more.
And you get about an even split of idiots who continue driving without compensating for the rain's adjustments appropriately and idiots who overcompensate and go 20 miles under the speed limit because they're so terrified of a little water.
