First time having trick or treaters come to the house! I had candy corn, and while some people may not appreciate the yummy goodness that is Brach's candy corn, I must say the kids were very appreciative! I had about 6 cheer and say "Yes, finally someone's giving out candy corn!" One purple gowned princess grabbed about six bags from the bowl and ran off. Heh.

So, next year, you get a group of people to go as this for Halloween.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! I think it may be my fave holiday! The kids are so cute!
We had a lot of fun, skipped the malls and hit the neighborhoods! Racked up nicely! :D
Best part? Running into one of my students and hearing..."Ms Kristin! Ms. Kristin!!" :D
Also ran into my new boss, who ran up behind me and grabbed me, nearly got an elbow to the face! But was funny, even without the assault on the boss. :)

Took my kids over to gramma's neigborhood because it's a Halloween mob scene over there; looks like the damn ET Halloween scenes instead of a motionless, mock atom bomb target neighborhood like mine does. I took my son to his first haunted house; a plywood and plastic tarp maze erected in somebody's front yard with costumed ambushers and clown heads in plastic bags and a chainsaw intermittently g...rowling......we almost had to give him physical therapy for two weeks to get his hand to release from mine........and my older daughter couldn't go in; she stood in line for 10 minutes and had had enough. But she asked for an exact description of all that transpired within that little patch of terra incognito.
Best Halloween EVAR.

Good to have you back.

Hey, the boss needs to learn he/she can't sneak up on you!!!
It must have been wonderful to run into your kids.
We only got two groups of kids at the door, unfortunately...Lots more people going to stores than houses...sad.

Do you question the great St. Sebastian, the most magnanimous man in the World?

My wife had the idea that she would put out the candy bowl with a sign that said take one please, well we took Jude around the neighborhood. I said that will never work. We came back to an almost empty bowl of candy.

That sounds like an awesome birthday feast Gruumash, what was the venue? Happy birthday!
Sorry been away from the computer for a little bit. The venue was a small resturant in Westwood MA called Chiara's. A fantastic place the chef/owner there Steve LaCount is amazing, my family knows him and he was the chef for my first wedding and he did a pheomuenal job there too. If you are ever in the Boston area it is worth a trip out to the suburbs for the dinner.

B) Old Spice sea captain punching a monster with treasure pouring out of his pockets commercial(switch out sea captain for lawyer, maybe?).
C) The most interesting man in the world Dos Equis commercial
Sebastian should be the horse in the Old Spice Dude on a horse commercial.

It wasn't completely empty, so it fared better than I would have guessed.

Hooray! My publicist returns. Finally, these alignment-related PR problems can be appropriately buried.
Also, the kids are old enough to finally object to my large scale theft of their candy. How will I survive without my secret desk drawer full of candy in my office?!?!?!
Just go buy a bag of candy? ;) And you alignment-related problems will stay as long as I find them entertaining. :P

Thanks everybody! Married life has been fantastic so far. (we weren't married on the 31st, we were married on the 8th, in Vermont. It was awesome.)
In other news - I'm looking into Rune Quest. might be nice to try a new system.
Also... well deserved death cert's? Do tell, mr. pidgeon.
