After three days of moving - I have my bed in the house so I'm home now.
We opened a 20 year old bottle of GLENFIDDICH I've been carrying around for 25 years waiting for a great occasion. (I would have opened it for my wedding but I was distracted by her dress.)
Merry Christmas to all in FAWTLy land- I'm off to start unpacking.

We are about to start the final preparations for the hordes of relatives that are arriving at my parents place on Christmas day.
I'm in a very Christmasy mood. Which is odd because we won't be having much of a Christmas. Where can I get roasted chestnuts?

...And I am heading out to the Strip this year to the largest block party in Nevada. I hope to have many pictures of 2011/2012 festivities.
A look at the forums make me think that the crazies come out around the holidays.

I was reading on Cracked.com......French have a word or two words for the concept of when somebody says something and you think of the perfect comeback......only way too f$&+ing late to use it, like 2 days later or something.

It's quater to nine and my daughters have been sent to bed... We will give it an hour or two before Santa makes his deliveries. No doubt the girls will be up at sunrise, I don't think I have many toys I have to assemble in the morning.
The only worry is the severe weather warning for tomorrow.... The tail end of a down graded cyclone will pass by tommorow. We have family traveling about two hundred kilometres up to Brisbane through the bad weather.
