I like this video. The players we're dropping from our game group are a combination of the "Willfully Ignorant" and the "There, but Not there".
You know its amazing how many people forget that the point of the game is to have fun and to get that fun sometimes you have to put others needs before your own. I see people that don't get that posting on these boards all the time. I could probably work a bit more on making my DM happy myself.
When I DM I like to think of a game I would have fun playing in. it usually works.Strangely dming nekkid makes them uncomfortable *shurg* no idea why.

Yeah, keep in mind, he's trying. That is not the same as succeeding. We'll see.
I did love the horror stories Shiro and Lara Croft Guy told me about how they ran timers at Cons: The best was Shiro's. "They introduce themselves, have you all sit around a table, and say, 'Now, somewhere in the city there's a nuclear bomb, and it's set to go off in 5 hours.'"
And he pulled a timer out of his bag, put it on the table, and set it to 5 hours. He said the players suddenly became very engaged...
Read that as enraged at first. was super confused.

I need to go for therapy too. I have trust issues, anxiety issues and generally believe the gaming world is out to screw me issues.
When I DM I like to think of a game I would have fun playing in. it usually works.
Back then when I was still playing, I would have loved to play under myself. I have played under myself in solo games before. My principles for GMing is to do unto others what others would do onto you,and I'd be perfectly happy playing under myself as a GM.
Anality for rules? Yeah! High Five!
Makes player actions and choices count for something? Yeah! I like to see that!
Will be less anal on rules if you show effort into what you want to achieve and talk things out nicely? Yes!
Will tell me straight up what needs to be done/can be done/cannot be done? Oooh yeah!
Will actually RP NPC conversations? Oooh yeah!
Definitely I would be very happy playing with myself GMing.

after Watching the video I realize I've played with everyone of those types. When I first started I was probably a bit of a steam roller or puppet master myself. Yay for learning curves.

But do those monkeys reproduce the works of Shakespeare?

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Impus major is in a leopard skin bathrobe?! Did I hear that correctly?
How could you =(
*starts yowling*
Mind you I'd not buy endangered animal skins. The price is Really exorbitant.
Er, didn't I say, "leopard print bathrobe"?
Too lazy to go back and check...
EDIT: OK. I lied. I checked. I misspoke. It's a print, not a skin. But can you imagine wearing an animal skin bathrobe? I'm sure it'd suck!!!
The question is, had he forgotten about the bottle?

But scientific evidence show that you need brains to have higher cognitive functions that allow you learn the English language. Else everything you typed here would be gibberish. Or full of S.
I mean I don't just type a bunch of gibberish?

I prefer this one:
A recruiting sergeant came my way,
To an inn nearby at the break of day.
He said: "Young Johnny you're a fine young man,
Do you want to march along behind a military band,
With a scarlet coat, a big cocked hat
And a muscet on your shoulder?"
A shilling he took and he kissed the book,
Oh Johnny, what will happen to ya?
The recruiting sergeant marched away,
From the inn nearby at the break of day.
Johnny went too, with half a ring,
He was off to be a soldier, he'd be fighting for the king,
In a far off war, in a far off land,
To face a foreign soldier.
But how will he fare when there's lead in the air,
Oh poor Johnny, what will happen to ya?
The sun shone high on a barren land,
As a thin red line took the military stand.
Sling shot, chain shot, grape shot too,
Swords and bayonets thrusting through,
Poor Johnny fell but the day was won
And the King is grateful to ya.
With your soldier deeds done, we're sending you home,
Oh poor Johnny, what have they done to ya?
Oh, they said he was a hero and not to grieve
Over two wooden legs and an empty sleeve.
They carried him home and they sat him down
With a military pension and a medal from the crown.
You haven't an arm, you haven't a leg,
The enemy nearly slew ya.
You'll have to be put with a bowl to beg,
Oh poor Johnny what have they done to ya?
I liked the quote from arrival.
In war there are no winners, only widows.

I personally only believe infinity exists as a theory. Like imaginary numbers. Nothing in the universe is truly infinite Just such a large number that it might be impossible to comprehend but still in the realm of possibility to count given proper equipment and time.
The idea of infinite parallel universes is one of those things that has always bugged me. It means if truly infinite guaranteed In one of them I am both batman and the president of the world.

It was the fest of times, it was the wurst of rhymes, it was the age of blissdom, it was was the cage of ghoulishness, it was the epoch of the Chief, it was the eunuch of tomfoolery, it was the season of Blight, it was the heathen of Dorkness, it was the bling of nope, it was the winter of her hair, we had everything to bore us, we had those things to shore us, we were all towing our wrecks to Heaven, we were call Boeing collect the other way - in snort, the Oread was so far lithe the pleasant myriad, that some of its boysiest priorities resisted on its seeing belief, or food or for Eva, in the superlaxative green tea of Saracens phonely.

Yeah see the thing when they say infintie means not only is their all the marvel universes all the dc all the other comics and every combination of those in between with our world as we know it but all that wouldn't even scratch the surface to all the variations their could be. Infinite is kind of a strange concept to try and wrap your head around.

His posts are created by a infinite number of monkeys trapped in a room typing endlessly.
Actually, I am a series of programs. One creates word spaghetti. The second looks for something approaching sentence structure. The next one tries to see if there is any way to connect the spaghetti to things others have said, and hits "reply" if it thinks so. Finally, there is a supervisor program that tries to filter the content for appropriateness. Sometimes that one doesn't work so well, as in how it let the post about Mort slip by earlier.

Are you wearing armor when you fight, and how does it feel like when you get hit? Is it a dull ache or so light you might not notice it?
Yes, effectively - fencing mask for the head, padded jacket, heavy-duty gloves, solid protection for bony bits (knees/elbows/shins/forearms) and a groin guard/chest protector. Even though the swords are blunt, if your opponent is trying to hit you properly, you've got 2-4 lbs of metal being swung at you at quite a considerable speed, so protection is essential (without it, you'd have to pull your blows before they landed and/or not get hit at all - and you will get hit, no matter how good you are). You definitely know when you've been struck.
Comparing bruises is a very popular post-sparring HEMA activity.

Plan: catch up on FaWtL.
Reality: drop the phone on your face (it hurt a bit) while trying to type a mildly humorous post about falling asleep in bed because you’re actually falling asleep in bed. G’nightmornin’ FaWtLers! I’ll read whatever two+ pages of stuff I’ve missed later. Good weekend. Now need sleep. Still. After the sleep I got last night. Look it was fitful, okay? Stop judging meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (or don’t, doesn’t matter, I’ll probably be asleep
