I hope you feel better soon, and work doesn't stress you out too much.

Oh I didn't mean me! I was responding to Scint's complaint.

I would have figured at least some teachers would be out sick this week.

Man, my brain is rubbish today. I was reading it as subscriptions rather than substitutes....

Then I second Rawr's confusion - second week of the winter/spring semester was always the substitutes' goldmine from what I can remember.

Fun fact: In Swedish "semester" means vacation.

Of course they're 'longing to go out again', –

Subjection to the ghosts of friends who died, –
Their dreams that drip with murder; and they'll be proud

Yeah, classes started up last week. Just gonna be pretty light for a bit, I think. Though if the weather keeps bouncing around like it has been, I should get busy again soon.

In the meantime, listen to Loke's Rhapsody. Eat your heart out, Tom Hiddleston!

Actually, just watch it with the sound of, it's a pretty meh song.

But I've yet to see that English impostor wield a flying V - so go Danish Loke!

I am building a blanket fort.

I intend to hide in here until adulthood goes away.

I have enough cookies and soda to last at least 6 hours.

Any other takers?

Sounds a marvellous idea, I'll bring the jelly.

Grandma's orange shag carpet is lava. Any blankets or couch cushions placed on said lava render it safe.

This is a true story. Grandma really did have a bright orange shag carpet, and we really did strew cushions and pillows and blankets across it to navigate the burning wastes of the back billiard room. How did you know?

man because every floor is lava when there are awesome forts involved

Sovereign Court

Ah, but did you and your cousins play "Church" together? The best job was Organist, where you got to play Grandma's organ solemnly as the Pastor walked slowly to the fireplace hearth, which was the Pulpit.

I pulled hair to get the Organist job, sometimes. I was bigger than most of my cousins - I usually won.

...

what?

I was always vaguely disturbed by grandma's bust of Moses holding the tablets.

no we just did things like jump off dirt piles and dig holes with the intention of reaching china and/or causing an avalanche

We would use magnifying glasses to focus the sun and burn bugs.

Back from work.

I am tired, both physically and mentally. Those damned pieces are so small and with each I need to guess if that one is removed absolutely delicately or if it is that one which will require greater pressure to properly remove.

And final phone I was given to assemble happened to have damaged connector. It was probably already damaged when I got it because it didn't fit from the start, but still it's very unnerving.

Have I mentioned that at the moment I am slowest of the group :/

I am too tired to write.
