I understand that there is a Walkena priest NPC in the NPC guide. I am looking for info on Walkena and the Walkena cult (yes, I'll take a brochure) that is going to be "canon" but don't want to spent $14 to get it. Is there a smaller write up or some place with info for either free or cheaper?
I'm pretty intrigued by this guy and the situation he presents.

I have Heart of the Jungle, where this is from. It's excellent and why I am so interested in this guy. I also have the first four Serpent Skull scenarios and the Sargava book - everything that mentions or has something about this guy makes me more interested. I have seen one set of NPCs for his dudes (some warriors), but a tantalizing reference to a "Walkena Cleric" was made about the NPC Guide.
I just *know* that if I do a workup on him it's going to be trumped by canon just as I get finished.
He sounds to me like he is a bit on the Runelords track with his 7 Sins thing :) But Yeah.. Cannon does go off when your hard work is done :)

I broke down and bought the NPC guide. The two Walkena dudes in there were pretty basic. The cleric breaks the game rules, however. Walkena's alignment is given as Lawful Evil. The cleric is Neutral. According to the rule book, going from Lawful Evil to Neutral is two steps on the alignment chart, and a cleric needs to be within one. Unless I am misunderstanding the rule. Or there is something else I am getting wrong (very common occurance).
On the other hand, it is an excellent PDF - the superb art makes me want to play all the NPCs and their regions in a game.
And best of all, one can reverse engineer most of Walkena's relevant bits. The gods in the PFRPG players guide all have five domains. Any god with Lawful/Chaotic or Good/Evil in their alignments have the corresponding domains. If Walkena is Lawful Evil, he would have Law and Evil. The cleric has Community (good call, Paizo!) and Weather domains. OK, that gives up four out of five domains.
Now, the last domain might be Earth, since the cleric has Terran as a language. Or maybe it's Fire, since Walkena blasted destroyed an army with "rain of fire." Or maybe not - he could just have cast a nasty Fire Storm or whatever spell out of his own arsenal, so to speak. Or maybe Death (he's a mummy)?
Actually, is there another example of someone walking around who can grant cleric spells?
As for a favored weapon, there's not much on this - the cleric has a quarterstaff, but I hope that's *not* the favored weapon. Seems off to me. I'd go with spear.

In Eberron there was a Litch that achieved Godhood by people worshpping it... and they didnt have alignment restrictions on worshippers... and earth, fire and death sound good for a mummy... and flail and crook(Staff) are good favored weapons for dessert Egyptian style, but spear for jungle is a good idea...
