Galrian Sho´ray |
Galrian watches how the portcullis begins to raise and move little bit to side, leaving a way for melee combatants Hm... I guess we are starting to get forward. Everyones should be careful from now on. The noise must have carried to far away in these tunnels
and as he finish, a magic whirl around him cast Guidance, Resistance and Virtue on everyone. Galrian will then prepare his Glaive, placing it comfortably in his hands
Shol’a’saul |
Shol'a'Saul, who had been quiet, speaks up suddenly, "Perhaps we should send a scout up ahead, and I believe I can help here."
She unfastens her cloak, and lifts up the dress she is wearing. She utters a word in an alien tongueand a pale white centipede uncurls itself from her waist, and climbs down off of her body. It seems to look at the rest of the party, before it scurries up the wall and climbs along the ceiling, past the porticullis and into the darkness.

No matter how much you strain your senses, nothing can be heard from the tunnels ahead of you. You pass through the arched doorway and enter into the part of the sewers that is obviously not taken care of. After few minutes of slow and careful walk, the path diverges into two tunnels going left and right.
Kythvanath |
Well, well right or left. Which do we choose? Kyth says as he looks down each tunnel. I have an idea, some one cast light on a few of my arrows and I'll fire them down each tunnel and see if we can't see anything. Kyth says sheathing Tempest and drawing out his bow and four arrows. Any one got a light? Kyth says with a smirk.
I'm thinking use the arrows sorta like a glow stick cast light on them and I'll fire them down the tunnel two at the bows full range and the other two at half, unless they hit a wall or something then we can get an idea of which way to go.

Passing the lighted pebble to Katallin, drawing her second short-sword and moving to the edge of the lighted area, Asasha lightly beggins moving down the left-hand passageway.

Ashasha creeps back to Katallin and whispers There's an oppening ahead, a few tunnels coming together. I didn't see any nasties, but there is some bedding and garbage scattered around, so they won't be too far away.
With that she motions for the others to follow and returns quietly to the junction.
The Great Katallin |
Never worry about the impossible Kyth, just be ready to hand over your gold when this is all done. The Great Katallin says in a jovial voice.
Though I think it is only fair to spot you one point since you did not get your silversheen.
When Asasha returns The Great Katallin hands the pebble back to Asasha and heads down the path she came from weilding his sword in both hands.

Apparently there was some fight here. It looks like there were ten wererats here and a like number of dire rats, or maybe wererats in rat form. You can tell the fight was done with natural weapons, by the the way some of the clothing here has been torn.
Nothing here indicates sharp blades but claw marks from an animal. Also which ever side won the fight cleaned up afterwards not a trace of blood, chipped stone,or anything. Apparently they are tidy....for wererats at least.
Kyth says as he points at different things through out the room using Tempest to lift clothes to show the tears he is talking about. The last part is said so dry it is hard to tell if he is joking or not.
Shol’a’saul |
"Kyth speaks truly, but his raises more questions, I fear. At first glance the seems the rats turned on each other and cannibalized themselves, but that is not consistent with what we know of those creatures. It is possible another creature did this to the wererats, if so, we need to find evidence." Shol'a'Saul remarks.
Galrian Sho´ray |
I agree with Shol... something is going on here and it seems that even wererats suffered now. Our first priority is to find tracks, then about the children. However, if we come to find something, which is threat to all of us and bigger than wererat, I suggest we will try to eliminate it? Something which attacks wererats and able to defeat them like this as he points around them I fear something horrible is going on here
Kythvanath |
How could they clear all the blood so fully? Kyth asks aloud as he looks over the scraps and garbage of the wererat nest. So its either something worse than wererats and wererats or the rats had a power struggle. I'm personally hoping internal trouble rather than two separate creatures, but they always say hope for the best plan for the worst.
The Great Katallin |
Well that all sounds good, anyway to tell how long ago this took place? If the victor hasn't fully recovered, it's easier to take a ship after a battle full of fresh cargo then one that just left port.
The Great Katallin looks around for signs of tracks.

Sorry about the absence yesterday, got busier than I expected.

Mhm, better to find out something useful here than leave something useful behind. Maybe there is possibility also to find clue about children?
Take 20 + 5 = 25 [Search thoroughly & spend time]
Shol’a’saul |
Shol'a'Saul nods at Galrian, "So, this means the children were indeed here. Perhaps the forces who attacked the wererats, also took the children with them."
She turns to Katallin, "Were you able to find any tracks?"
The Great Katallin |
No tracks, this battle is older than I initially thought. I was able to find a silver chip lodged between these two stones here. Whoever fought here knew what they were fighting. It also implies that there was wererats on both sides of the conflict
The Great Katallin removes the silver chip and inspects it for any type of identifying marks.

Kythvanath |
Now that's interesting. Kyth mutters as Katallin discovers the silver chip in the wall. Who or what came here and fought the lycans with silver yet as far as I can tell there are no other marks to show weapons were involved? And where did they take the children? Dia do you think Ludi can get the scent off the hairs and track the children?

Asasha walks over to Galrian and inspects the rag he found before moving over to the nearby exit tunnel and peering down it looking for any signs of creatures passing this way.
